23/10/2025: For my birthday dinner, we chose Locanda del Carmine. The location is on the charming and central Piazza del Carmine, yet never crowded. The atmosphere is elegant and welcoming, and we sat on the veranda overlooking the square. The staff is friendly, and the service is impeccable. All the dishes were excellent in terms of the quality of the ingredients, the presentation, and the meticulous preparation, and the portions were adequate. The menu also includes vegan/vegetarian dishes. The wine list is impressive, with options from around the world, catering for all tastes and budgets. Note that half bottles are available, although the selection is limited. There's also a spirits list with a wide range of interesting options. The prices are reasonable for the quality of the dishes and the service.

26/10/2025: The atmosphere is very pleasant and refined, a mix of rustic and elegant that immediately puts you at ease. Friendly and attentive service. I chose the fish dishes: very fresh raw fish, beautifully presented, and with balanced flavors. The prawns with burrata cream and pistachios were also good, delicate and flavorful (perhaps a little overcooked compared to the scalded seafood on the menu). The mixed fried fish was good, dry and crispy. Interesting wine list: the Passerina is perfect to accompany dinner. A place where you eat well, with attention to detail and a relaxed atmosphere. I will gladly return.

22/10/2025: There aren't enough stars to express the level of attention to food and service. It's an excellent place to eat. It may be pricey, but it's worth every penny. It's a great place for families and romantic lunches and dinners. Highly recommended. Reservations are required.

05/12/2025: A fixed menu dinner, either meat or fish, for Christmas dinner with over 40 friends. It was a somewhat complicated experience because bringing out dozens of different dishes to each table at once wasn't easy, I don't think, to maintain the right temperature and correct portions. There were a few issues with the wine and water, given the slow pace of replenishing the tables. Overall, the food was good, but obviously you can't judge a restaurant on a "fixe price" basis for such an occasion. I'm not sure I'd go back, but I'll wait a while to decide. A more than adequate experience, but not thrilling.

04/11/2025: Chinese food meets contemporary cuisine. Delicious dishes made with fresh, high-quality ingredients — flavorful, balanced, and beautifully presented. Some plates are on the spicy side, but absolutely worth the experience!

03/11/2025: Delicious food, carefully selected and prepared. In some dishes, you can even replace the meat with tofu, making it vegetarian-friendly. The tofu with peppers is simply indescribable. Highly recommended!

10/12/2025: The hotel is a bit outside of Milan, but convenient for those traveling by car. It has free parking. The room is clean and equipped with every comfort. The breakfast is excellent, with a wide variety of sweet and savory options. The staff is extremely kind and professional. Since it's Christmas time, the reception and breakfast room are all decorated, creating a beautiful Christmas atmosphere. Highly recommended

We came from Catania, where the fish is wonderful and incredibly fresh. Here, we felt right at home, even when it came to the bill, which was average. What can I say?
