30/12/2025: It's always a very busy place for business lunches, as it offers a wide and truly delicious selection of dishes. Because of this constant turnover of customers, the atmosphere isn't very well-maintained. The staff really does their best to welcome customers. We'll definitely be back!

11/11/2025: I've been a customer of Scacciapensieri several times and have always had a good experience. The food is good, the service is basic but always clean, and the staff is efficient and friendly.

30/09/2025: The ice creams are good. The clerk, on the other hand, is the complete opposite. She gets annoyed because her terminal doesn't have a connection to pay €3.50, then, as if it were my fault, she sends me to withdraw money from the ATM, throwing my pod into a random cup in the refrigerator. I return less than five minutes later, and she's on the phone without paying attention to me. Eventually, she takes the money and continues on the phone without giving me the now-melted pod. Taste 5/5, clerk 0/5

13/05/2025: A bit chaotic but the food is good, clearly "pub-like". Good selection of beers, typical atmosphere of the bars in the alleys of Genoa. The phone doesn't work in the internal rooms.

16/08/2025: We used to come very often for a delicious gelato at Davide's; we're also friends with the previous owners, until they closed. Now we're used to going to a nearby gelateria... Yesterday it was very crowded, so we decided to try the gelato at the reborn Davide's, which, as I wrote before it closed, we'd been going to for many years. In fact, after my father-in-law passed away, my mother-in-law wanted to move back home to Lavagna, and now we live here on two floors. We still have our house in Livorno on Via degli Scarronzoni, right in front of the Due Comandi. From our two-story home, I can also see the Torre Folgore and the sea. I've known this Gelateria for at least 20 years... And I must say, the new guys are kind... Good at their job. Only those of us who've tasted the old Davide's gelato can notice small differences, but the gelato is excellent, the service is fast, and they're kind. We sat at the outside tables, our 25-kg puppy comfortably seated. We ate our ice cream sundaes.... A small flaw.....the flavors we'd chosen, which were listed on the list they brought to our table, were missing. However, the ones we chose at the table were delicious. 19/01/2026: Ordered pizza and pesto slices from cold trays. Had them warmed up in the microwave. Both slices were abandoned after a couple of bites. The underlying dough was spongy, soggy, downright inedible, one dares not call this crust. It's the worst food we have had in Liguria. One could do better by ordering from a USA pizza franchise in the middle of a bad urban neighborhood. Perhaps it could be explained by the fact that it was the dead of winter... but still.

02/03/2026: They are very fast and gentle, they have different types of dough to choose from, but the nnoasti are quick-leavening, in fact I chose yeast-free dough.

25/01/2026: The pizza is excellent with all the top quality ingredients and always fresh. The place is very clean and tidy. I have tasted several specialties and they are all delicious.

01/11/2025: I had dinner there tonight! The service was extremely attentive and very good. The food – the antipasti mussels – is highly recommended. The pizza and pansotti are also delicious. The price-performance ratio is excellent! We'll definitely be back!

The service was attentive, friendly, and professional, making us feel genuinely welcome. The atmosphere is warm and family-oriented, relaxed and authentic.
