11/06/2025: Horrible service. In the room none of the different phone numbers (Housekeeping, Reception, Concierge, etc.) would pick up for over an hour. In the beach club the cleaning ladies are very rude and unwelcoming.

11/06/2025: Hotel Gran Miramare is a 1903 art nouveau building across the road from the beach, this upscale hotel has views of the Ligurian Sea and is also 3.2 miles walk from Portofino. Part of the walk is an elevated hiking trail with incredible views in a tree canopy. I highly recommend the walk. You can take a taxi back easily from Portofino. The taxi is high $$. We chose to enjoy an apertivo and walked back. Our rooms had beautiful hard wood floors and chandeliers, plus Wi-Fi and satellite TV with a sea view. Room service is available. There's an elegant restaurant with frescoes and a terrace for the amazing breakfast buffet. Don't forget to go to the piano bar. Incredible cocktails and exceptional service. The saltwater pool was refreshing after a day exploring Portofino. I highly recommend Grand Hotel Miramare.

28/04/2025: We went to this farmhouse on the advice of a friend of ours and I must say that advice has never been so appreciated. Small place with covered outdoor veranda in front of the private car park, not many places but excellent as it is. The entrance is right on the road that goes up from Piccarello (or that comes from Torrazza...). You don't order anything except wine. Menu of their choice but very complete and above all abundant and excellent... In the end we gave up... We opted for a bottle of Nebbiolo (you could also choose something else from the house...). For lunch, I refer you to the photos... Clean place and courteous waiters. Price? All inclusive with final coffee, €40.00... What can I say, very satisfied... We will definitely be back.

16/04/2025: We had a "cocktail". Just disgusting. It was just different types of pure alcohol... No juices, syrups or similar. The bartender probably just looked at the menu to see what ingredients were in there and randomly poured them into the glass. For about 100ml you pay €8 Just usury...

18/05/2025: Cocktails too strong really, good if you want to get drunk but stick to wine and beer if not. Menu quite expensive. Least you get free nibbles. Heated outside area though with seating.

02/05/2025: Top food (loved the fish and the Gnocchi with Truffle butter). Staff also very friendly and attentive. Prices are justified by the quality of the dishes, absolutely recommendable - We looked this place up online and decided to give it a go based on the very good reviews, although we're were initially sceptical as the restaurant looks more like a bar. Anyways and as written, we were very happy with the food (and we're picky when it comes to fish) and the staff. We'll be back. Grazie mille

19/05/2025: Era un po' che non ci andavo ma c'ero stato anni fa, ieri partecipato ad una comunione quindi bella occasione per tornarci. Il locale è grande ed accogliente, il personale gentile, si mangia bene, porzioni generose e bene anche il servizio nonostante la confusione. Unica nota i bagni, sarebbero veramente da risistemare. Almeno una pulita ed una imbiancata, muffa e ragnatele in abbondanza. Peccato, avrei dato 5 pallini

20/04/2025: I read reviews that leave me perplexed. Personally I think the products are excellent. The friendliness, however, is the standard Genoese one. I confirm the difficulty in finding parking. The fact is, however, that in central/eastern Genoa, it remains one of my favorite pastry shops and I return regularly, both to consume on site and for takeaway.

02/05/2025: Splendid place in a square in the center of Genoa, close to the theaters but two plastic saucers with plastic cutlery not served at the table with 3 frisceu inside, a bit of farinata and a piece of savory cake with a plastic bottle of natural water 30 euros, I will definitely not go back again.

10/05/2025: Terrible, forgettable I just wanted to make a clarification: the menu and the price were not specified until two days before, on the contrary: I had gone to look on your site to see if there was anything about it but for Easter it was written more or less like this: "For information on our Easter menu do not hesitate to contact us at the number etc etc". For the rest I stick to my opinion.

13/05/2025: I had some ice cream, four flavors of all creams and honestly I was a bit disappointed. They all seemed very similar and yet I tried four different flavors but on the palate I didn't feel any big differences, the sweet prevails and furthermore the ice creams are increasingly inconsistent. The artisanal ice creams of the past had a greater density and creaminess and distinguishable flavors, perhaps this is the new way of making ice creams. In any case in the general panorama of ice cream shops that I have tried in Genoa they are certainly not inferior to anyone. It is probably the current way of making ice creams that for me, who have the possibility of comparing them with the more natural and genuine ones of the past, are no longer exciting and satisfying.

08/05/2025: Delicious ice cream and waffles and the sales assistants were very kind. The only "flaw" is the absence of an option for children in the sense that it is not possible to have a smaller or less full cup by paying less; basically I had to get my 3 year old (who doesn't eat a whole ice cream) a cup as big as mine and obviously, in addition to making a mess, he wasn't able to eat all the ice cream and furthermore I had to quickly gulp down my ice cream to be able to help him eat his. It would be enough to introduce a smaller cup or perhaps fill the cup halfway and not charge it in full.
