Long waits and very rude staff.
Zero attention to allergies and intolerances.
They make a mistake with a dish, you point it out, and their response is, "It's too crowded, so either you eat this or you have to wait at least another half hour, queuing at all the other tables."
Okay, but the dish must have been removed from your bill... not even close.
Never again!
05/01/2026: Slow service, barely adequate food, but the real problem is that on October 17th, while I was paying, the machine jammed, so I had to pay twice. Unfortunately, I ended up paying twice. I called and sent my IBAN, and they promised to refund one of the two payments. I wrote again yesterday, but I haven't received a response. It seems grossly unprofessional to charge double for a service that lasted over an hour and a half for farinata and pizza. I hope that, after reading the review, the owners can do what they promised.

03/02/2026: It was late, okay, around 2pm, but they welcomed us by asking us to choose only second courses and possibly the same ones. Acceptable also because I'm a colleague, but... not offering a second course from the "workers" menu, we ordered 2 quick and painless fried dishes... Natural water and 1 sparkling one, 2 coffees. Wow, 56.00 euros. The calamari were terrible!!! Rubbery and tasteless, impossible to enjoy and at that price. I'm sorry but since we're in the profession, they absolutely cannot be compared to a Patagonia C4, for example, at that price...
25/01/2026: Excellent lunch at this restaurant, featuring top-quality ingredients. The raw tuna and shrimp tartare was superb, and the baked local sea bream with potatoes was fantastic. The wine list was good, and the service was attentive.

13/11/2025: We went for breakfast 2 days ago. The waitress was rude and didn't even smile (I do the same job), but if you're dealing with the public, you have to know how to handle it! As soon as she heard we were tourists, she inflated the prices and didn't even give us a receipt!

09/12/2025: For the past five years, I've been delighted to dine at this small but excellent restaurant at least once a month. In addition to the uncommonly kind welcome, I find the dishes perfectly prepared, demonstrating not only the chef's skill but also an excellent selection of ingredients, all of which, in my opinion, are of the highest quality. The meat is excellent, the fish superb (and fresh). The prices are reasonable, considering the quality offered and the city's average. Without a doubt, one of the best restaurants in Genoa, although it doesn't have the reputation it deserves.
14/10/2025: Recommended by a friend, even though the place was deserted, we ordered two first courses and an appetizer. Tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms, filled with tons of unrelated, greasy tomatoes, and spaghetti with clams, also greasy with tomato sauce... I don't know if we were just unlucky, but the food was terrible. Furthermore, with two first courses, a small appetizer, and two glasses of wine, we ended up spending €70, significantly more considering the less than elegant location.

19/05/2025: Era un po' che non ci andavo ma c'ero stato anni fa, ieri partecipato ad una comunione quindi bella occasione per tornarci. Il locale è grande ed accogliente, il personale gentile, si mangia bene, porzioni generose e bene anche il servizio nonostante la confusione.
Unica nota i bagni, sarebbero veramente da risistemare. Almeno una pulita ed una imbiancata, muffa e ragnatele in abbondanza.
Peccato, avrei dato 5 pallini

11/11/2025: I would like to give a huge shout out to Deborah and staff for rescuing us when presented with a train strike.The day of the strike we were to catch three trains and then the only flight to Mykonos that week.
They went over and beyond spending considerable time to secure us a taxi.
Thank you, we will be forever grateful.
Also we would like to complement you on our meal that evening, it was most enjoyable.

21/11/2025: A very pleasant place. The hostess, Iolanta, made us feel right at home. The dishes were prepared right before our eyes and were delicious! We were offered welcome drinks and an aperitif before heading out. I highly recommend it!
