21/03/2025: I was returning from Arona, where I'd been for a burraco tournament, and I stopped in Santhia. I was completely surprised to see the historic Carnival parade, which was absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend seeing it; it's every bit as beautiful as the more famous one in Viareggio. Thousands of participants, spectacular, enormous floats. I stopped at the Giardini bar for just a sandwich and found myself right in the middle of the parade. I've attached a photo to give you an idea of ​​the atmosphere and the floats.

21/08/2025: I loved it. We had two spectacular dark beers accompanied by snacks courtesy of the house. We were there yesterday, and I plan to go back today.

06/10/2025: 7:00 PM: Panissa finished, vegetable tarts finished, frisceu finished, cod finished even though they weren't crossed out on the blackboard/menu. 2 portions of rice cake reheated in the microwave 2 portions of farinata 2 red Moretti All on paper plates and plastic cutlery. Picked up at the counter and brought to the self-service table outside. €48.00!!!! If you want to be fooled too, I recommend it.

16/08/2025: We used to come very often for a delicious gelato at Davide's; we're also friends with the previous owners, until they closed. Now we're used to going to a nearby gelateria... Yesterday it was very crowded, so we decided to try the gelato at the reborn Davide's, which, as I wrote before it closed, we'd been going to for many years. In fact, after my father-in-law passed away, my mother-in-law wanted to move back home to Lavagna, and now we live here on two floors. We still have our house in Livorno on Via degli Scarronzoni, right in front of the Due Comandi. From our two-story home, I can also see the Torre Folgore and the sea. I've known this Gelateria for at least 20 years... And I must say, the new guys are kind... Good at their job. Only those of us who've tasted the old Davide's gelato can notice small differences, but the gelato is excellent, the service is fast, and they're kind. We sat at the outside tables, our 25-kg puppy comfortably seated. We ate our ice cream sundaes.... A small flaw.....the flavors we'd chosen, which were listed on the list they brought to our table, were missing. However, the ones we chose at the table were delicious. 24/09/2025: The pizzas were delicious, and the service was friendly and fast. The ambiance was okay, but nothing special. The experience was further marred by the fact that we were ultimately charged €28 for the supposedly €10 bottle of white wine, even though this wasn't announced beforehand.
