22/03/2026: Stunning focaccia 👌 so light and tasty! We had normale, olive and were lucky enough to have tried a fresh cheese focaccia straight out of the oven 🤤😋 ... I'm having a hard time leaving this place 100% must try!
17/03/2026: Pinamonti is the Ligurian focaccia par excellence in Santa Margherita. Tradition and delicious focaccia have always been their strong points. Not stopping by to stock up would be a grave mistake!

01/02/2026: For us, the Grand Hotel Miramare is a place with a truly special flair. The elegant ambiance and the stunning location instantly create a holiday atmosphere and invite you to savor the moment.
The rooms were stylish, clean, and very comfortable – just right for relaxing after a day at the beach or exploring the city. We especially loved the view and the peaceful atmosphere.
The service was attentive, warm, and highly professional. Breakfast was also a real highlight for us, with a good selection and fresh products. We would definitely return to this hotel.
27/01/2026: The GHM is simply exceptional. The views, accommodations, grounds, food, drinks, and service are all among the best I’ve experienced across Europe.
While staying here, I planned a surprise proposal to my fiancée which the staff tactfully helped facilitate, and surprised us with champagne in our room after our dinner!
The in-house spa and dry-cleaning were excellent, and the concierge was helpful at any hour we needed assistance.
The pool deck is stunning, and we loved every dish we had from the restaurant across breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
The Miramare is a beautiful historic hotel with an outstanding staff. Our thanks to the entire team for making our visit one we will always remember. We will be staying here again!

04/01/2026: Panificio Fiordiponti embodies the best of Ligurian tradition and bread-making. It goes without saying how delicious their products are, such as Ligurian focaccia (well-drenched in olive oil), cheese focaccia, and pizza. I didn't have a chance to try the bread or desserts, but they looked absolutely inviting. It alone is worth a stop in Santa Margherita Ligure, and now, picking up takeout to enjoy in Portofino has become a tradition!

16/02/2026: A typical Ligurian trattoria with tables under the olive trees and a basket from which food is served freshly cooked in the kitchen. Friendly, family-style service and excellent dishes.
18/01/2026: The welcome is that of a true trattoria, full of warmth and passion. The food is simple, good, and sincere. What left me very perplexed, however, was the €4 cover charge, which was completely unjustified. It's almost a Michelin-starred restaurant price, but this is a trattoria where the tablecloths are made of paper, the cutlery isn't changed between courses, and the bread and breadsticks are trattoria-style. I would have preferred to pay more for more carefully prepared dishes, rather than "give away" a €4 cover charge in a trattoria where the cover charge should be a maximum of €1-2.

15/04/2026: Good experience. When I called to make a reservation, they didn't answer, but I was called back a couple of hours later and was able to book a table. The pizza was good, as was the service and the desserts. The atmosphere was a bit chilly, but the food made up for that. The price was more than reasonable.
02/04/2026: Good pizza, close to Neapolitan, especially the very flavorful ingredients, especially the mozzarella.
The staff is very welcoming and friendly, especially the owner.
Prices are reasonable.
I highly recommend it.

08/04/2026: Extremely expensive, small plates, and poor quality. We left hungry! €20 for a plate of pasta with tomato sauce and five mussels on top, plus a €3 cover charge!! Excessive! First time at this restaurant. I'd rather find another restaurant next time.
06/04/2026: We randomly decided to stop at this restaurant for dinner and were very lucky to find a table without a reservation. The young lady who welcomed us was super helpful and set up a lovely table for us. The atmosphere is simple but very welcoming. The best thing, as it should be, was the food. The two first courses we ordered were both five-star, especially the spaghettoni cacio e pepe with shrimp tartare, simply perfect in every way, one of the best seafood first courses I've ever had. If we ever return to Santa Margherita, we'll definitely stop by Molo 10 again, this time with a reservation :)

21/03/2026: Great food , this place works when all other places are closed.
17/02/2026: The staff were super friendly and welcoming. Even though we showed up at 3 PM, they were willing to prepare the dishes we requested and that were on the menu. The place is divided into two shops, one serving as a deli and one serving as a restaurant, making it very convenient for a quick but tasty lunch. We were very satisfied. We will definitely be back!

04/04/2026: I went to Lo Colapasta and tried two first courses: trofie with pesto and trofie with shrimp and zucchini.
What intrigued me most was the pesto pasta, served with green beans and potatoes: it was the first time I'd eaten it like this. I imagine it's a typical Genoese recipe, so it's worth trying even for those who aren't local. That said, I personally found it rather salty, perhaps a little too salty for my taste, though overall it remains a traditional dish.
The trofie with shrimp and zucchini, on the other hand, were much better; I found it tasty and had more balanced flavors, making it decidedly more enjoyable to eat.
The staff was also a positive note: they were friendly, kind, and helpful, helping make the experience more enjoyable.
Prices are average for the area (€10 for the pesto and €12 for the shrimp dish, for a total of €22 for two), so overall, in line with the central location of Genoa.
