21/11/2025: A small bistro in an alley next to the main square! The main room has 6 tables! Perfect for breakfast, lunch, and aperitifs! The menu offers sandwiches, salads, meat tartare, one fish dish, and burgers! The bill for one person with an entree, a glass of wine, water, coffee, and a dessert came to 27 euros! The crowd is local! A regular spot for lunch!
29/10/2025: Lunches at this restaurant are absolutely delicious: the location on Vico San Matteo, in the heart of Genoa's historic center, and the stylish interior are a winning combination. The staff is very friendly (they allow for personal variations on the dishes), and the menu is excellent: the Papavero salad with turkey, tomatoes, poppy seeds, walnuts, and burrata—requested as a substitute for mozzarella—is delicious, as are the sandwiches. The various soups or minestrone with legumes in the winter are also delicious, as are the various desserts available from time to time. The price is truly reasonable for the quality of the food. Highly recommended!

09/02/2026: I go quite often. There's not much seating, though in the summer there are tables in the romantic little square. But the atmosphere and food are excellent. Good beers. A must-see in Genoa's historic center.

I ordered a takeout pizza for €9, and it arrived with the can completely ruined and literally cut open.
Did it fall while delivering?
Otherwise, it's inexplicable.
01/01/2026: I ordered a home delivery pizza, it arrived 1 hour late, cold and even the order was wrong, then I found two slices of pizza with black hairs, really scary

31/08/2025: A beautiful haven of tranquility where fine cuisine meets a passion for making guests feel good.
Revisited Ligurian cuisine, yet respectful of the ingredients, excellent local wine pairings, and careful selection of small producers who also produce unusual wines.
Finally, a lovely, quiet outdoor area, far from the hustle and bustle of Sestri Levante's center.
A wonderful restaurant project that deserves to be appreciated and supported (even compared to an otherwise rather standard local cuisine).

16/02/2026: Recommended pizza! Very good and with plenty of ingredients, friendly staff, but the place is a bit small, even with a reservation (for two) we ended up "squeezed" between tables, but the food was excellent.
15/02/2026: An Italian pizzeria with a lot of heart. We were there in February, and the dining area was heated with a gas oven, making it very pleasantly warm. The menu is entirely in Italian, and the owner was very helpful and explained all the dishes clearly. Now for the food: it was truly the best pizza we've ever had, and we try the pizzerias on every trip to Italy. Expertly crafted with such a delicious crust and high-quality toppings, it was fantastic. The prices are more than fair. We'll definitely be going back.

07/12/2025: Lovely dinner with friends. A quiet restaurant. Donatella welcomes you with a smile, and you're already relaxed. Traditional cuisine featuring recipes from the Ligurian hinterland. The menu is very pleasant, with choices in Genoese, Italian, and English (in that order). "Homestyle" dishes made with local ingredients. Good wine. A good Pigato. More than reasonable prices. Parking is easy. We'll definitely be back.
