Focacceria Mario In Genova

EXCEPTIONAL! I had never eaten such good focaccia. It was a truly new experience. With the stracchino and then with the onion... hot straight out of the oven... what can I say?! I'll be back!

Round focaccia with cheese and incredible pesto!

The institution of the Genoese focaccia I went to this bakery with my girlfriend during a day in Genoa. The shop is located along the central Via San Vincenzo near the Genova Brignole train station. Outside there is a number dispenser. The interior is not very large but displays numerous types of focaccia and bread. We took a round cheese focaccia which was heated up for us to eat immediately. The products are fantastic, light and very tasty. Prices are honest and affordable for all budgets.

I am a fan of Genoese focaccia and a visit to this renowned bakery could not be missed. The place is very beautiful and inviting, a pedestrian area between Brignole and Piazza Colombo. The staff is a little too hasty even when there are no waiting queues. The focaccia is good, but in my opinion (just a question of taste obviously) it is really full of oil, too much.

March 5, 2024 Short stop in Genoa before leaving for Turin. You can feel the tiredness of the day but I found the two sales assistants extremely kind and correct. The focaccia is not only amazing, but very good and it's worth running out to buy it. Thank you so much Mario & Co.... shame not to have you in Turin too 🤗

In una zona centrale, a due passi da brignole, si trova una focacceria storica. Sono entrato senza troppe aspettative e invece WOW, una focaccia poco unta ma gustosa e croccante, bravissimi e prezzi onestissimi!
