24/02/2026: First time at this place, which is rightfully famous in the Marassi area, where during sporting events at the stadium, the line gets really long for excellent pizza. We enjoyed pizza and farinata sitting at the only two tables available. The owner is a real force to be reckoned with, despite not being a woman anymore. I highly recommend it, and we'll definitely be back. Thank you.

06/06/2026: We had dinner at this restaurant: we and others who had made reservations waited half an hour for our table. My family and I had come for fish, and after receiving our drinks, they told us there would be an hour's wait for the restaurant, advising us to order pizza. The waiter was friendly, but not to mention the table management. We had problems with our online reservation. The waiters were connected with earphones but didn't pay attention to the customers. Good food.

06/03/2026: I stopped by this bakery to buy some Genoese focaccia to take to relatives. The product was good and of high quality. Unfortunately, however, the experience was ruined by the attitude of the sales assistant. I had purchased two trays of focaccia and politely asked if it was possible to divide them into three bags because I needed to distribute them to family members. The request was met with a rather rude response that left me truly surprised. I understand that working behind the counter can be intense, but a little courtesy towards customers always makes a difference. It's a shame, because with a kinder attitude, it would have been a much more pleasant experience!

11/07/2026: Finally managed to find some asian food after being in cinque terre for 5 days. My taste buds finally awoke from their slumber! Sufficiently umami and authentic, we thoroughly enjoyed the flavours!! PLEASE ORDER THE XIAOLONGBAO AND HARGAO (i don’t remember the exact name… it’s the one with prawn)! SO PACKED WITH MEAT AND JUICYYYYY. If i lived in Genoa, I’d come here at least once a week.

Fixed-price lunch menu, first and second course, water and coffee, €15 Leek and Gorgonzola risotto, very good Park at the Brugnato Est service area and exit through the pedestrian crossing at the turnstile Very convenient and much better than stopping at the service station... 😉😉

29/06/2026: It's a heavy heart for me to write this negative review after so many years of being my go-to ice cream shop. I'm celiac and have been frequenting this ice cream shop for years because, in addition to being a member of the AIC (Italian Celiac Association), when I ask, "I'm celiac, what flavors can I eat?" they always say that most of the flavors are gluten-free, like the cones and wafers, and they always specify the flavors that are exceptions. I keep asking the same question, over and over again, even though the girls know me by now, because you can never be too careful in these cases. On Friday, June 19, I ordered my ice cream following the same pattern and was told that only one flavor contained gluten, so I didn't order it. Last Friday, when I returned, ready to order my ice cream, I was told that a flavor that not only hadn't been mentioned the previous time, but that I had also ordered and eaten, was gluten-containing. The girls, who weren't the same as the previous Friday, were shocked when I pointed this out and, unfortunately, could only explain the ingredients of the flavor, confirming the presence of kataifi dough (and therefore gluten). Unfortunately, I didn't have any symptoms that evening, so I didn't realize I'd eaten gluten, but anyone with even a little knowledge of celiac disease knows that it's an autoimmune disorder that isn't always symptomatic, but even in the absence of symptoms, it has SERIOUS effects on a person's health, both in the short and especially the long term. I'm writing this review because I've lost faith in the restaurant and the peace of mind with which I used to consume its products, and above all because I believe it's VERY SERIOUS to underestimate allergies, intolerances, and illnesses reported by customers.

18/07/2026: When it's at its hottest in Genoa, it's nice to sit in the shady courtyard, where there's a slight breeze. Of course, there's also something to eat and drink. Excellent focaccia and draft beer.

06/07/2026: We ordered two mixed farinatas, one traditional and cooked ham, the other traditional and lard with pepper. To say it was excellent is almost an affront, given how excellent the quality, flavor, and quantity are. The pesto was sublime. After the unsatisfying focaccia, we ordered two first courses: testaroli with pesto and Portofino, both excellent. The portions were more than adequate, with homemade yet refined flavors, including the bread, desserts, and everything else they made. The location is strategic, accessible by all means of transport leading to the beautiful Piazza De Ferrari, home to the Carlo Felice Theater, the Palazzo Ducale, and in Piazza Dante to Porta Saprana, one of the city gates overlooking Columbus's house—all historic sites. A truly delicious break at Locanda Tortuga is a must. The price of our dinner was truly reasonable. We'll gladly return; highly recommended.

17/11/2025: ...very nice and well-kept location, friendly staff, but the food, considering they said the produce is home-grown, was disappointing. The appetizers were nothing special, then we had pumpkin lasagna, a brick without any flavor, like the main course, and pumpkin parmigiana, the same, with the usual lack of flavor. The wild boar was decent. Dessert: chocolate, amaretto, and caramel cream tart.....we couldn't taste any of these flavors.....huh.....the red wine was decent....40 euros each....I don't think we'll be back.

07/08/2026: The place is very nice from the outside, but things change inside. The place doesn't have air conditioning, not even a fan, with the heat of these days I'll leave you to imagine, the dishes are poor, they taste of little, there's no wine list, there's no side dishes, the menu is poor as an offer and the quality/price ratio is better left alone, overall the appearance is more taken care of than the substance, how could you ruin an evening with good friends?

17/05/2026: We ate very well, the fried food was perfect, but the highlight was their homemade desserts. The chocolate cake was sublime.

22/04/2026: The restaurant looks shabby from the outside, both the interior and the tables, but it's definitely nicer inside. The first courses we ordered were salty, the second courses were better, but definitely overpriced for what they offer.

08/07/2026: We ate there twice. I have to admit the seafood was okay, as was the service, but the other two dishes we ordered weren't really great. We also had a mixed salad, which, it should be noted, was served after the main course without any prior notification from the server. It consisted of iceberg lettuce, some carrots, and zucchini, which also wasn't very good. The bread was fine the first time, but on the second visit, it was really very hard! Probably the same bread as on the last visit. Overall, the price-performance ratio wasn't quite right. I would recommend other restaurants in the area.
