03/05/2026: We spent the weekend in Liguria and came to eat at this restaurant that my partner had known for a while. Their specialty is definitely the Recco-style focaccia. After a small appetizer, we chose the one with stracchino cheese and pesto. Exceptional. The atmosphere was beautiful and informal, and the waitresses were very kind and attentive.
You can't reserve, so you'll need a bit of patience, but after half an hour, it was compensated and we were seated. We'll gladly return in the future 🥰

10/05/2026: A truly delightful little place in the little square of the village of Toirano. What struck us most was the love that went into the cooking and the service. The girls were truly professional, smiling, and so kind. Our compliments, indeed. A wonderful memory and a full belly! (And what a zabaglione!)

04/05/2026: We were at this little restaurant three nights ago. We were served by Lisa, a wonderful young woman! Polite, capable, and very eager to please. What can I say? Excellent food. Everything very fresh, and excellent service. We'll be back soon. I forgot, we arrived late, and at 10:30 PM they asked us if we wanted anything else. Compliments for everything.

23/05/2026: I can't say enough about how much I enjoyed this place. It's a bit of a hassle to get there, but it's worth it. The farinata is excellent, the pizza is excellent. The owner and staff are welcoming and helpful. Finally, a place where people speak Genoese. I'll definitely be back many times.
I'd love to try the garden in the summer...

10/06/2026: We were staying in Manarola for 4 nights. Two different people recommend before we left we try this place. Second day we went for breakfast. It was the best we had on our trip so far. The staff is very friendly and everything was very fresh. They had a fresh made juice and the stuffed croissants were filled to order ricotta pistachio is the best. My husband loves the eggs we want back for breakfast AND lunch the next day again. Lunch I had the seafood risotto and he had the carbonara pizza both fresh and amazing. For desert we had the panna cotta. So creamy and covered in fresh fruit. Best desert I have had on the trip. Must try when visiting Cinque Terre!

01/06/2026: I ate both the pizza and the food that came out of the kitchen. The pizza dough was well made and was tasty and digestible. The toppings were excellent. The cooking was also very good: I tried the creamed cod enhanced with a pesto garnish and the caponata. The plating, the service (exquisitely kind staff), and the table setting were very carefully chosen. Congratulations!

06/03/2026: I stopped by this bakery to buy some Genoese focaccia to take to relatives. The product was good and of high quality.
Unfortunately, however, the experience was ruined by the attitude of the sales assistant. I had purchased two trays of focaccia and politely asked if it was possible to divide them into three bags because I needed to distribute them to family members. The request was met with a rather rude response that left me truly surprised.
I understand that working behind the counter can be intense, but a little courtesy towards customers always makes a difference. It's a shame, because with a kinder attitude, it would have been a much more pleasant experience!

06/06/2026: We had dinner at this restaurant: we and others who had made reservations waited half an hour for our table. My family and I had come for fish, and after receiving our drinks, they told us there would be an hour's wait for the restaurant, advising us to order pizza. The waiter was friendly, but not to mention the table management. We had problems with our online reservation. The waiters were connected with earphones but didn't pay attention to the customers. Good food.

09/05/2026: We were there on a Friday evening; it was very crowded and incredibly hectic. It was very loud inside. The "fish of the day" was good, and the pasta was okay. Unfortunately, not all the dishes on the menu were available.
The service suffered due to the hectic atmosphere; we were asked about our orders several times, and sometimes we even had to ask again. Despite the good food, we can only give it a qualified recommendation.
