26/10/2025: Located in Piazza Partigiani, just beyond the Budello, it's an excellent gelateria, in my opinion the best in Alassio. On the rare occasions I get there, I always stop by. A good selection of very good flavors, which I always order with a waffle cone. The staff is friendly. I recommend this place if you're passing through Alassio.

22/10/2025: Strolling through the bright-and-breezy Piazza dei Partigiani in Alassio, I stumbled across Gelateria Rainbow — a gem of a stop for anyone craving a sweet pause. The first thing you notice: the cheerful façade, the colourful gelato display, and the promise of something indulgent yet genuine.

06/11/2025: Terrible experience. I specifically asked for warm farinata, but it was served cold—despite the lady behind the counter claiming it was "piping hot" after reheating it for 30 seconds in the oven. When I asked for two extra slices, the same lady, with rather questionable manners, raised her eyebrows as if annoyed... I'd say there's no need to add anything else. The food is mediocre, nothing special: in Savona, you can find much better farinata. If you're coming off a heavy night, it's okay... but otherwise, it's better to choose another place.

16/08/2025: We used to come very often for a delicious gelato at Davide's; we're also friends with the previous owners, until they closed. Now we're used to going to a nearby gelateria... Yesterday it was very crowded, so we decided to try the gelato at the reborn Davide's, which, as I wrote before it closed, we'd been going to for many years. In fact, after my father-in-law passed away, my mother-in-law wanted to move back home to Lavagna, and now we live here on two floors. We still have our house in Livorno on Via degli Scarronzoni, right in front of the Due Comandi. From our two-story home, I can also see the Torre Folgore and the sea. I've known this Gelateria for at least 20 years... And I must say, the new guys are kind... Good at their job. Only those of us who've tasted the old Davide's gelato can notice small differences, but the gelato is excellent, the service is fast, and they're kind. We sat at the outside tables, our 25-kg puppy comfortably seated. We ate our ice cream sundaes.... A small flaw.....the flavors we'd chosen, which were listed on the list they brought to our table, were missing. However, the ones we chose at the table were delicious. 19/11/2025: My wife and I came here for an aperitif. The Ligurian-style Spritz was absolutely delicious – highly recommended. They immediately serve snacks and finger food with your drink. Absolutely top-notch – this is what hospitality should be! You can tell the owners love what they do. Great value for money. A must-visit when in Imperia!

The service was attentive, friendly, and professional, making us feel genuinely welcome. The atmosphere is warm and family-oriented, relaxed and authentic. A place where you can really enjoy good food and feel at home. Highly recommended.

26/09/2025: The gelato is good, undoubtedly among the best in the area. It's a shame the staff isn't very attentive and courteous. In response to the owner: It didn't quite work out that way. I came in and asked which was the smallest container to take away. Half a kilo, the clerk replied, three flavors. So I didn't even have time to ask for the three flavors before I was immediately interrupted and asked to get a receipt first, quite rightly so. I paid €12.50 and asked for vanilla. "We don't have any." So first you make me pay and then you tell me it's not available. I understand we're in Genoa, but I don't think that's the right thing to do. Anyway, in the end I got the cream, chocolate, and hazelnut: each one better than the last.

22/09/2025: This is one of the better gelateria in my neighborhood, so when I don't want to go far, I can choose a tasty gelato from this shop. In past, the staff hasn't been so friendly, but the more recent visit was better. They have classic flavours and some more original, like the salted caramel and nocciola with wafer that are top choices.
