20/04/2025: Yesterday I thought I had found the pizza of a lifetime... The "poker of pizzas"... But instead, a total disappointment! It had to be: 1/4 vegetarian, 1/4 4 cheeses, 1/4 champion and porcini mushrooms, 1/4 cured meats. Instead it arrived: one part only champion, 1 with cheese, 1 with peppers and 1 cooked and spicy salami! According to the law you cannot add spicy unless it is written on the ingredients! Disappointed!

08/12/2024: Un'atmosfera accogliente, calda, molto tranquilla ed elegante. Proprietari simpatici, gentili e molto disponibili a consigliare il meglio. Un menù interessante, varietà di proposte con piatti sfiziosi e invitanti, un'ottima cantina e una scelta di vini molto valida per annaffiare il tutto. Anche i dolci non tradiscono e sono ben presentati, e per finire un amaro locale tipico il Camatti, buono da matti!!! Lo consiglio vivamente.

02/05/2025: Top food (loved the fish and the Gnocchi with Truffle butter). Staff also very friendly and attentive. Prices are justified by the quality of the dishes, absolutely recommendable - We looked this place up online and decided to give it a go based on the very good reviews, although we're were initially sceptical as the restaurant looks more like a bar. Anyways and as written, we were very happy with the food (and we're picky when it comes to fish) and the staff. We'll be back. Grazie mille

20/04/2025: I took a classic focaccia, a cheese one and a slice of pizza. The classic focaccia is good, the cheese one is too salty and the pizza was cold and soft. I thought better.

Uscivamo delusi dalla tradizionale focacceria che da venti anni frequentavamo, cambio di gestione ... e di prodotto. Indicammo esplicitamente che eravamo alla Focaccia d'Autore come degustatori esigenti. Ne siamo usciti soddifatti. La focaccia di Recco la fanno "comme il faut ! "

04/05/2025: I live in the area and I noticed this corner of Japan three years after it opened. I never thought I'd find a top-notch Japanese restaurant close to home. Tried a nine-course tasting. The quality has nothing to envy of starred restaurants. True traditional Japanese cuisine, with both cooked and raw tastings, complete with very fine wagyū meat. The chef, who is 100% Japanese, prepares the dishes directly behind the counter with an open kitchen. Each dish was expertly studied, creating a harmony of flavors that lasted from the beginning to the end of the tasting menu. The products are excellent and very rare to find. Impeccably clean, the place is small and has very few seats, but it is finely furnished in authentic Japanese style, with soft lights and lo-fi music. Extremely high level experience, unexpected also considering the area. I will become a regular customer.

23/03/2025: Abbiamo fatto un aperitivo in questo bar e siamo rimaste piacevolmente sorprese da quanti stuzzichini ci hanno portato... praticamente una cena. Tutto buono a un prezzo veramente competitivo. consiglio!!!

21/03/2025: I was returning from Arona where I had been for a burraco tournament and I stopped in Santhia'. With great surprise I attended the parade of the historic Carnival, beautiful. I highly recommend going to see it, it has nothing to envy to the more famous one in Viareggio. Thousands of participants, spectacular and enormous floats. At the Giardini bar I stopped just for a sandwich and I found myself in the middle of the parade. I attach a photo to give an idea of ​​the atmosphere and the floats.

28/04/2025: We went to this farmhouse on the advice of a friend of ours and I must say that advice has never been so appreciated. Small place with covered outdoor veranda in front of the private car park, not many places but excellent as it is. The entrance is right on the road that goes up from Piccarello (or that comes from Torrazza...). You don't order anything except wine. Menu of their choice but very complete and above all abundant and excellent... In the end we gave up... We opted for a bottle of Nebbiolo (you could also choose something else from the house...). For lunch, I refer you to the photos... Clean place and courteous waiters. Price? All inclusive with final coffee, €40.00... What can I say, very satisfied... We will definitely be back.

14/04/2025: Abbiamo soggiornato qualche giorno a Varazze e ci siamo imbattuti in questo bar, provando sia la colazione che l’aperitivo. In entrambi i casi pienamente soddisfatti. Aperitivo abbondante e variegato accompagnato da spritz davvero ottimi. Cappuccino ottimo, cremoso alla giusta temperatura e caffè davvero gustoso. Cornetti di svariati tipi: ai cereali, al pistacchio (top), al cioccolato etc etc… veramente buoni. Complimenti.
