13/08/2024: An ice cream shop that I have always remembered, easily reachable by bus that runs along Viale Eritrea and by metro (stop at Piazza Annibaliano).
Frankly, in past summers I ate a coffee granita with cream that was better than the one I ate a few days ago. It didn't have the strong taste I remembered and also contained pieces of ice so large that they disturbed the tasting. Even the cream seemed not very tasty and not very consistent to the point that the granita and the cream did not blend well together, rather they remained two separate components. Has the ice cream maker changed??
The girls at the counter are kind, but the quality of the coffee granita with cream definitely needs to be improved...

16/08/2024: Torniamo spesso in questo locale, sempre soddisfatti , aperto sempre , servizio informale ma comunque attento. Punto forte la cucina abbiamo assaggiato di tutto e devo dire ineccepibile , addirittura aperitivo con ostriche e frittura di calamari croccante e fresca. Spaghetto con gambero delizioso . Ottima birra e locale climatizzato perfettamente ottima serata a presto . Consigliatissimo

16/07/2024: The place is quite small, so much so that unfortunately, sometimes, there is no seating available, but thanks to the kindness of the attentive staff, who recognize their customers, even after the first time, even remembering everyone's preferences, we you feel cared for and at ease.
The Krapfen are delicious.
After a few days in which we experimented with breakfasts of croissants and other pastries in various cafes around the capital, we must recognize that the Luperini Pasticceria remains a point of reference that is difficult to match.
Highly recommended!
P. S.: The prices are absolutely in line with those of other places.
01/07/2024: Renowned pastry shop in the neighborhood, famous above all for its sandwiches... which however were already finished at 2.30pm on the 8th working day! And this is not tolerable!

01/08/2024: The staff was friendly and the breakfast was nice. What made this a tough place to stay was the lack of a working AC. We were told the AC was working and supposedly maintenance checked it. However, it never really cooled inn the room. I had to use a small fan to cool me down after walking around the room to use the restroom or grab something. It was hard to sleep at night as well since the room was too hot.
19/07/2024: Unfortunately we only had working air conditioning here for 1 day at 38*C at the moment :(
The breakfast is very clear and not recommended if you compare it with other hotels.
Overall the location is good and the room is ok.
But we won't book here again.

17/08/2024: Review in Italian to warn Italians (and especially Romans) from going to this restaurant. Unfortunately it has nothing to do with Angelina's original restaurant in Testaccio nor with Italian cuisine. Let's leave it to the Americans.
26/07/2024: Unfortunately, food was only available from 12:30 and we didn't want to wait any longer. What surprised me was that they didn't want to cook for us before 12:30, but the staff was already eating before 12 o'clock at the next table.
They had a selection of fast food. As a pregnant woman, I had nothing to choose but fruit.

30/07/2024: In Rome you suddenly find surprises and Poldo was one of them. Perfectly located outside the crowded area of the city center. Covered and cool terrace under the trees. Local food with good taste. Pasta, pizza, salads... They also offer a daily menu. Very good for the price. As I said, it's better if you go out of the center. The service is also friendly and professional. Congratulations!
30/07/2024: I found them by chance I missed my bus and my friends were very hungry. The food was great!!! The staff was extremely kind. Especially one of them had such a beautiful smile.
100% recommend.

Wide choice of first courses, second courses, side dishes and more. Quality and very fresh food, the right seasoning that enhances the flavor of the food.
All completed by the kindness, helpfulness and professionalism of the staff. Well done everyone!

19/07/2024: It is a half self-service bar - restaurant. You can opt for a typical Italian bar meal (panini, pizze, etc.) or for a more self-service formula with ready-made dishes (pasta, vegetables, salads, etc.). We opted for one or the other and both were very good, very fresh. The service is very attentive and allows you to compose to meet all your expectations. Very diligent and friendly staff. There is a large air-conditioned room and a shaded terrace. Mixed population, locals and tourists. We find a certain authenticity. In addition, the espresso - the coffee... - is particularly good, as strong as you like. It would almost be more of a Neapolitan café than a Roman one. Well done. We'll come back.

25/07/2024: Perfect spot for an early evening aperol, away from the crowds, chaos and traffic elsewhere. Drinks reasonably priced not like other bars and friendly service. Grazie!
