19/08/2025: The corner townhouse is very much like faulty towers the staff are very pleasant but its clear its not what it used to be. The restaurant area is closed so breakfast is served outside on the front terrace which is unclean and dusty. There is no sign for the hotel, the areas outside look tired and unkempt. The bar area is closed. It is a real shame as the staff were really pleasant but the hotel does not match up to the photos you see online. It is not a true reflection of the state of the property. We had breakfast once and didn't return, our 1st and only breakfast was on a bank holiday so the bakery were they usually source breakfast from was closed and the reception staff made up his own version with kids cereals, 5 pastries and milk and cereal served in a mixing bowl and dirty jug. This put us off for the rest of our stay. It's seems very odd way to do breakfast and was a real let down to the hotel. Id suggest not offering breakfast as its just not good service to expect guests to walk to a bakery to collect food and return to the hotel? If you are already booked, The location was very pleasant near to the collosseum and we had some meals in local restaurants at Baccio and Flavio al velavevodetto. There were two nice bars near by Mostros and Tram stop good for a spritz, plus the crafty beer place called So Good.

07/09/2025: Excellent hotel 🏨 in a great location. Perfect room with very soft beds. International breakfast, so plenty of everything. Private, secure parking 🅿️ Perfect welcome 😁

30/08/2025: Average food, long service times, excessive prices that don't match the quality. They don't bring the menu, perhaps to allow them to charge different prices to known customers. Far from my memory of this place.

16/08/2025: The dinner was truly top-notch, from the seafood salad to the fried fish and spaghetti, everything was better than in Italy.

24/09/2025: Fanni is very friendly and helpfull sugesting good drinks which are actually different and very tasty.

12/09/2025: I walked in just for a quick shot, but the music was so good and the vibe so amazing that I ended up staying all night. The staff are absolutely fantastic and welcoming. I even met the owner, who made the experience even better. Such a great place with incredible people, I’ll definitely be back!

04/10/2025: Very spacious, slightly bare, but overall nice place. Attentive service, friendly waiter, although there was a fair wait, and it wasn't packed. Very good pizza with excellent toppings. Neapolitan-style dough, but Roman-style is also available. The appetizers are varied and plentiful. Average prices. Recommended!

24/08/2025: I went to this place for dinner with friends, and we ordered various fried foods, pizzas, and desserts. I really liked the breading on the fried foods (you have to try the Chicken Banditos because they're amazing) and the fact that the pizzas are available with either Neapolitan or Roman dough. I haven't personally tried the sandwiches, but they looked inviting! The pizza was very good, both Roman (although it's not my favorite) and Neapolitan. The ingredients all seemed top-quality. As for desserts, you have to ask about their availability because they're not listed on the menu, but that's probably a way to ensure they're always fresh. We tried their tiramisu and a Baileys semifreddo; both were very good. I read on the menu that they have gluten-free options. I personally recommend it! The owners are kind and helpful, and their authenticity shines through in their dishes!

05/10/2025: visited this restaurant today, and it was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had. Even though they charge 2 euros per person as a “service tax,” the service was absolutely terrible. The staff were inattentive and seemed completely uninterested in serving customers. We had to wait a long time just to get our order taken, and when the food finally arrived, it was cold and tasteless. The overall atmosphere felt chaotic, and no one seemed to care about customers’ comfort or satisfaction. Charging a service fee is fine if the service is good — but here it was the exact opposite. Definitely not worth the money and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

05/10/2025: The food here was absolutely terrible. Everything was sweet and bland, with zero flavor — it honestly tasted like they forgot how to cook. I couldn’t even finish my meal, it was that bad. And on top of that, they charge 2 euros per person as service tax for service that’s just as bad as the food — rude staff and super slow. Totally not worth the money. Never coming back!🤢🤢

30/03/2025: Decent pizza and fried food. The one-star review (even too much) concerns how one of the owners who serves in the dining room (the short one with the hat) treats customers. Besides rudely responding to other diners in the dining room, he also rudely responded to me, saying "Don't come back" simply because I politely pointed out that it was already our third time there and he didn't have any bottles of the same type of wine in the fridge. If you don't know how to interact with the customer, change your career!

31/05/2025: Very Cozy restaurant with the most friendly staff ever! We were on a bike trip and didn’t now where to sleep. They contacted a friend! And yes we had a place to sleep! After the good help we went to the restaurant where she worked! This was incredible good. The food the wine the atmosphere. Best night ever. So if you are in Calcatta go to this place and it will amaze you!
