06/07/2025: We stumbled upon it by chance for the first time months ago and I ate the tagliatelle with chestnuts and asparagus very well and the wild boar for the second course. I added the dessert because it was the zuppa inglese which is rare to find. I didn't write a review because one swallow doesn't make a summer and I promised myself I would return to see my first impressions confirmed or denied. What can I say: excellent, I ate the fettuccine alla bandiera (pachino and asparagus) simply superlative and the pork loin with plums and apples truly exceptional. For the dessert I confirmed the zuppa inglese which is how my grandmother used to make it. The scomposta with berries (or Nutella) is also really good. I will definitely return and recommend it to everyone.

06/07/2025: We return to eat at l'Asprese every time we pass by these parts. The welcome is familiar and the dishes are tasty and quality. Honest prices. For us a point of reference in the Rieti area!

17/08/2025: The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the service was fast. The prices were higher than average. The pizza looked good and was tasty; however, both my partner and I had digestive issues with stomach cramps, and we (especially me) don't suffer from a "sensitive stomach." I did notice, however, that many people in the dining room had trouble finishing their pizza: some took it home in a box (like I did), while others had the waiter take it away. Considering the prices, the generous portion is nice; it's just a shame it's hard to digest.

17/08/2025: The facility has gotten much cleaner since the move. But is it just me or does the pizza not taste as good as it used to? I also visited the original D'Amichelle in Naples this week, and the taste was noticeably different.

30/08/2025: I'm not going. But excuse me, for a pizza I have to accept the time they say. The website says 7:00 PM, but I can't. And I also have to leave the table at 8:30 PM. Not only that: I also have to leave them my credit card number on their website!!! But keep this pizza, I can live just fine without it.

04/08/2025: The pizza (in the image) is by far the best I've had in Rome, the tomatoes create a lovely sweet contrast to the bitter sauce, the crust is flakey and dense and the ingredients are all high quality. I only payed €4 an absolute bargain. The server was friendly and helpful. Definitely a must try.

04/09/2025: Everything was great; I don't understand the one-star reviews. The food was delicious and the service was extremely good. The prices were excellent; two people were fed just by eating one pizza. I recommend the salmon pizza. Apart from that, everything was generally well-equipped and very modern. If you want Wi-Fi, just ask.

17/06/2025: I had lunch here today with my dad. We had chicken, potatoes and tomatoes with rice: everything was delicious. Friendly and cheerful staff, we will be back!

26/08/2025: Hidden Gem! Advertised the 1.5 Litre Aperol Spritz for 20 Euros. Rather than scam us the bartender went the other way. No way it was 1.5 Litres. Must have been over 2, maybe more. And delicious!!! I was a little worried about the bill because the owner/bartender dude was a giant so what was I gonna do about it? But nope. 20 euros. Would absolutely go back.

19/08/2025: Quite disappointed, we came for an aperitivo, we ordered 3 cocktails and only got a few chips... Expensive for what it is, no atmosphere... We won't be going back

01/09/2025: Lovely local spot! We arrived late in town and found this place close to our rental apartment. The pasta amatriciana and the bufala pizza were excellent. The server spoke good English and made us feel very welcome — even as the only non-locals in a restaurant clearly popular with locals.

03/05/2025: Non possiamo che ringraziare la gentilezza e disponibilità dello staff. Ottimo il servizio ed il cibo. Siamo stati benissimo a pranzo nel corso della giornata trascorsa a Nettuno. Conserveremo un eccellente ricordo con l'auspicio di tornare.

27/08/2025: All good. The only thing I can say to the owners or management is, be careful about the cleanliness of the bathrooms. Maybe it was just that one day, but I backtracked. Otherwise, everything was perfect. Delicious desserts, helpful staff. Parking available.

19/08/2025: A historic restaurant in the Castelli Romani area, offering a good and varied menu of meat and fish dishes. Located in a charming setting, it also offers hotel services (which I didn't need). The service, generally very good, has suffered somewhat due to the summer crowds.

21/08/2025: Very simple place, they bring you a pizza peel and you eat without plates. The pizza is really good! Takeout is also available.

Not only for its stunning location, immersed in the natural beauty of the Rieti hills, crafted with simplicity and elegance, but also for its truly delicious cuisine, made with expertly prepared, high-quality ingredients. Papilla combines attention to the local area, research, and curiosity: the result is interesting, fun, delicious, and authentic dishes. I recommend the fish appetizers.
