25/10/2025: A small and very welcoming restaurant, right in the city center, just steps from the cathedral and easily accessible on foot from Novi Park. The dishes are sophisticated and never boring, yet always with a focus on tradition. The same goes for the desserts. A wide selection of wines. Very friendly staff.

01/11/2025: After my third try, I have to say this last one could have been better. Eggplant is almost out of season in November, and the flavors fade. As for the ice cream, please tell her it's a stick, otherwise we'd expect something else.

28/10/2025: I learned about this restaurant thanks to my girlfriend, so I decided to take her (I'm an omnivore, she's a vegetarian). The place has a very unique, minimalist style, creating, in my opinion, a beautiful feeling of a home left unfinished. The bathroom is super clean and welcoming, and they've provided customers with simple yet unexpected treats that make it extremely original. As for the cuisine, well, there's not much to say. You can tell that behind every single dish there were hours of work and study to recreate the various combinations, which in my opinion are phenomenal. It's a constant play on combining tradition and modernity, not only in the presentation of the dish but also in the preparation itself... try it and believe it. The staff is exceptional, very professional yet very approachable, perfect for a restaurant like this, and I must say they really made us feel at home. Finally, I'd say the value for money was excellent. We opted for the à la carte menu and each sampled a course, from appetizers to dessert. The price was more than fair and perfectly balanced for the quantity, but above all, the quality of the dishes. Highly recommended.

13/11/2025: One of the best sushi places in Modena: the salmon is always super fresh, the staff is incredibly kind and attentive, and the prices are excellent! I go back as often as I can!

12/09/2025: Firstly, I would say the price isn't updated and now it's 26.9 euro with 2 euro service fee, and with mandatory drinking ordering. Therefore, 30 euro for buffet on average. When it comes to food favor, I would give a 75-80 points. A lot of choices but remember that different types has different numbers. If you want try more different sushi, it would be be to ask before ordering.

10/11/2025: The burgers are excellent, with a wide variety to choose from. The beers are good. Service is provided by friendly, knowledgeable young people. Although the quality comes at a cost, the prices are perhaps a bit high. Regardless, considering the city's beer hall scene, it's definitely worth recommending. I'll definitely be back to try other dishes and beers.

And trust me: leaving without trying at least two flavors is practically impossible. The gelato here is artisanal, creamy, and full of character. What's immediately striking is the variety: there's truly something for everyone. From the timeless classics to the most original and unusual creations (yes, there's a Pokémon flavor and even the legendary Franui 🍓🍫). The selection is so wide that stopping at the counter becomes an adventure, between happy hesitations and delicious tastings. Every cone and cup is served with whipped cream and Nutella (yes, you read that right: ALWAYS!), making every bite even more indulgent. If you're feeling extravagant, there are filled brioches, freshly filled with your favorite gelato: a dreamy combination. And let's not forget the cakes: true works of art that seem to have come straight from a creative pastry shop. Beautiful to look at, delicious to eat, perfect for birthdays or special occasions. Another plus? The benches outside the shop. A detail that's not at all a given: being able to sit, enjoy the sun, and enjoy your freshly made gelato makes everything even more enjoyable. In short, Slurp is the ideal place for those who love to treat themselves to something unique: a mix of tradition, quality, and creativity that appeals to both adults and children. 💛

14/09/2025: On September 13, 2025, I ordered four half-meter pizzas. The delivery service was prompt and precise, nothing to complain about. The pizzas had generous toppings. Unfortunately, two of them were burnt. They were inedible. 😔 The two stars awarded are a reflection of the punctual experience. I'll try to attach a photo, if I can.

02/08/2025: Extremely long wait. An hour for three pizzas. Takeout orders are given priority. Average pizza, high prices considering we're on the outskirts of Modena. Any additional changes add two or three euros to the bill. I wouldn't return.

05/10/2025: LOCATION, FIRST COURSES and DESSERTS are winning 😁👍 LOCATION: it is located right in the heart of the medieval village (small and beautiful); simple but welcoming interior, very clean (the bathroom is always a calling card); overall it looks like one of those old delicatessens where you bought cured meats and stopped to eat dishes of the day, but this is a full-fledged Osteria 😊 MENU: the strong point is the FIRST COURSES, you can also see how much space they take up in the catalog, all the must-haves of the Emilian tradition are present, tagliatelle, tortellini and tortelloni, we really appreciated "TORTELLONI VECCHIA MODENA" (lean tortelloni seasoned with butter and bacon blended with balsamic vinegar), the balsamic vinegar gave the right amount of sweetness and did not overwhelm the rest. The TAGLIATELLE with Bolognese ragù are good, in the good Emilian standard, just like at home 😊 THE DESSERTS are really good, I definitely recommend trying the BAROZZI CAKE typical of Vignola, drowned in an excellent mascarpone and the SFOGLIATINA of fresh (local) PEACHES with Chantilly cream 😋 In the APPETIZERS area, excellent quality cured meats, less convincing the CROSTINI, in fact 2 good crostini (1 mushroom and 1 pancetta) and 2 bruschettas a little out of context (1 tomato basil and 1 garlic oil) which we would have preferred replaced by a classic one with livers or something else hot, ditto the zucchini flower fritters proposed here in the Neapolitan sciurilli version, in which the zucchini flower is inevitably mortified by the batter, at this point if we have to go out of the region it is better to choose the Roman-style stuffed ones. On the menu, we didn't see the area's flagship fruit, the cherry, or seasonal must, two products that would certainly have been a good addition to some dishes. PRICE: Overall, the quality-price ratio is good; the appetizers at €6 (€7 for prosciutto and gnocco)—from what I've said—aren't particularly worth it, the desserts at €4.50 are reasonably priced, and the first courses are reasonably priced. RESERVATIONS are recommended; there's about thirty seats in total. PARKING is no problem. In conclusion, it's a traditional Osteria that we enjoyed, absolutely perfect for a traditional Emilian lunch, in a very pretty village in the Modena hills. It's a shame that, with good desserts and cured meats, it doesn't have continuous hours on weekend afternoons for sweet or savory snacks.

04/10/2025: Located at the entrance to the charming village, we stopped by chance, and it was a lovely surprise. The atmosphere is very clean, the staff are very friendly. The food is excellent, healthy, and the prices are absolutely fair. We'll be back. PS: The village is truly delightful.

23/09/2025: Martina and I celebrated our wedding at this venue on September 21st. What was a unique day for us, for Gilberto, Davide, and their staff, is a tried-and-tested system, where every detail has been perfected with experience. The food was refined and plentiful. The venue was clean and tidy both before and during the event. Nothing deviated from what was agreed upon.

03/11/2025: Good ice cream and good cakes, but the cake I ordered today was completely different from what I had asked for. The wrong flavors and the wrong crust, and I would never have asked for flavors to which I'm allergic.

19/09/2025: I have been going to this restaurant for years and have always had a positive response, in fact, I would say it has even improved. The quality of the meat is beyond discussion, an excellent selection of wines, even in small 375ml sizes, so you can enjoy good wine without taking too many risks once you get in the car. Refined starters and first courses, in taste and variety of compositions, with good portions. Homemade and fresh desserts, you never say no to mascarpone! In short, you can find traditional and slightly revisited first courses, high quality meat including tagliata, fillets and Florentine steaks! Balanced and fair quality/price, so my compliments to the whole family and staff
