From the moment we arrived, the owners and their family treated us with a level of kindness and generosity that is truly rare. We came to Maranello for a Ferrari inspired half marathon and expected a simple place to stay—but what we received was so much more. They went far above and beyond in every possible way. They helped arrange transportation for us multiple times without ever asking for anything in return, saving us from renting a car and making our entire trip smoother and more enjoyable. At one point, they even offered us the opportunity to stay closer to the Ferrari factory so we could fully experience everything happening in town. That level of thoughtfulness is something we will never forget. The restaurant itself is outstanding. The wild boar stew with tigelle and grilled vegetables was absolutely incredible—authentic, rich, and perfectly prepared. Every meal felt like a true taste of the region. The history of this place makes it even more special. Knowing that it was once a working mill from centuries ago adds a unique depth to the experience—you truly feel connected to the heritage of the region while enjoying incredible food and hospitality But what makes this place truly special is the people. 09/05/2026: Excellent piadinas, clean and tidy park

03/05/2026: We can't agree with the 4.4 rating. We were there at Easter, a party of three, and the piadina dough wasn't cooked through, and the filling was disappointing. Okay, it was busy, and today we thought we'd give it another try. The fish piadina with tuna was only filled with maybe 30 grams of tuna in the middle, and the 2.5 cm border was just dough. The filling in Cotto's piadina was okay, but it was mostly mayonnaise, and the dough was again thick and undercooked. We won't be coming back because the quality doesn't seem to be any better.

08/05/2026: I've already been there twice for lunch (two business menus available) and dinner, and on both occasions, despite the place being busy, we were served quickly. The pizza, both thin and thick, was excellent, and the beers were good. The prices were absolutely reasonable.

08/05/2026: The pizza was good, the service wasn't the fastest, but we went at 2:20 PM, almost at closing time, which is 3:00 PM. The option to choose the thickness of the pizza was nice.

04/06/2026: The staff is courteous and available to offer the best possible service. The service was very satisfactory. Both indoor and outdoor seating are available. The portions are generous, and with an appetizer and a main course, you'll be completely satisfied. In my opinion, the quality of the products used is high. If I'm in the area again, I'll definitely consider eating there again. Highly recommended!

03/06/2026: A charming place, with two internal (non-connecting) dining rooms and a large outdoor space. Unfortunately, not all the outdoor tables are covered, but even in the event of unexpected rain (as happened to us), the staff was very quick to resolve the issue, finding room for everyone inside. Kudos to them for their ability to resolve the situation. Fair prices (an entrée averages around €12) and very good dishes. We tried the passatelli of the day (with bacon, fossa cheese, and hazelnuts) and a plate of cacio e pepe ravioli with bacon (very, very good). We also tried the piadina as a side dish (+€2), which didn't disappoint (as expected in this area). Service times can be a bit longer during peak hours, it must be said, but honestly, we didn't suffer too much. The place fills up quickly, so reservations are recommended. However, even without a reservation, if you're patient enough to wait, a table will eventually arrive. The kitchen doesn't close early for lunch, and the staff try to feed everyone who's patient enough to wait. Recommended, also (but not only) for the constant kindness one of the staff members has always shown to everyone who approaches him (even to those who have all sorts of complaints about him after a lavish lunch).

15/05/2026: The gyoza was great, but the SHIO RAMEN BEEF and SHOYU PORK BELLY were disappointing in terms of meat quality.

15/05/2026: I saw another review saying the place had a strong anime vibe – honestly, not really. There are a few details here and there, but overall it feels more like a regular restaurant. We were really inspired by the reviews and expected more, but to be honest, we didn’t really get the vibe or the “wow” taste people were talking about. The meat was pretty average – one piece was very fatty, another had a lot of sinew, and the third was overcooked on one side but not on the other. Maybe we were just unlucky that day, but sadly we didn’t really enjoy it as much as we hoped. Out of all the dishes, the shrimp gyoza were definitely the highlight. Another surprise was the €2 per person service charge. That’s completely fine, but since we don’t speak Italian and weren’t given an English menu, we simply didn’t know about it beforehand. It was our first time experiencing that, so with every little thing the rating slowly went from 5 stars in our heads to more like a 3.

26/05/2026: We ordered pizza delivery. It arrived on time, warm, and intact. The dough is made with semolina (I think) and it thickens in the center. The crusts were thick, and the toppings were sparse on one pizza (mozzarella). It wasn't one of our favorites. But the ingredients were quality. We contacted the restaurant to ask about allergens, and they were very helpful.

14/05/2026: The restaurant is well-located in the center of Modena. The food is good, and the sushi was delicious. The only flaw is the service, which could be improved in terms of friendliness.

12/05/2026: An iconic bar. Outdoor seating in the summer, almost immersed in the beautiful park in front. A simple coffee can become a magical moment, immersed in the greenery and facing the splendid Roman walls of Santarcangelo. The coffee with pistachio or hazelnut and the unique salads are noteworthy.

05/04/2026: A takeaway Caprese sandwich (industrial mozzarella and tomato) cost 8 euros. The exorbitant price was attributed to the cost of the ciabatta. The waitress was kind, however, and, to my disappointment, offered to remake it differently. The problem, however, isn't that, but rather the feeling of being cheated by constant and absurd price increases, especially in Parma.
