09/11/2025: We went here for an aperitivo with my friends and opted for the €22 deal, and overall it was a great experience! The location is truly perfect, right under Bologna's Two Towers, so right in the city center and with a very pleasant atmosphere. The service was friendly and helpful, the staff always smiling and attentive. The selection is affordable and varied: we tried several items, and overall we enjoyed everything, especially the tortelloni, which were really good. If I had to find a small flaw, the spritzes weren't particularly successful and the meatballs were a bit bland, but nothing that ruined the overall experience.

04/11/2025: Too bad... Too bad I can't give zero stars!!! The atmosphere is typical of tourist spots, so far no problem. The huge problem is passing off a dish, specifically "a large pan-fried ragù," as a particularly rich and filling dish that turned out to be far inferior to a simple pasta dish, with a surcharge of about €3. But alas, aside from the quantity of pasta, the question I wanted to ask the STARRED chef was this: Where's the ragù, my starred chef? Finally, when I pointed this out to the waitress, she almost fainted, apparently feeling attacked when in reality I asked her a simple question: Where's the ragù? The worst place my family and I have ever eaten. Obviously, the aforementioned first course wasn't included in the bill, which was steep for the quality eaten by the other diners... WELL DONE... KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK IF YOU WANT TO CLOSE OUT!!!

Extremely kind and helpful...we had a special deal with the hotel, and even though the reserved seats were in the rows furthest from the sea, he spontaneously moved us closer (maybe he could have because it was the end of the season and they had some free seats, but we really appreciated it).

26/10/2025: It was recommended to me by a lady from Montefiorino...and I must say it was well recommended!! I was immediately shown to my table, served drinks, bread, and breadsticks, then the gentleman listed the menu for me...plenty of choice between first and second courses. I opted for the cooked and sautéed tortellini with porcini mushrooms, wild boar morsels, and boiled and sautéed potatoes, and a house dessert. Everything was truly excellent. The price was in line with the dishes, the quality of the ingredients, everything homemade, the coffee, and the service. 👏👏

28/03/2026: We ordered takeout. The food was very good, and they were very kind and even added some freebies after a large order. Great variety and good food, both Chinese and Japanese. We were just a little disappointed by the unclear menu; the vegetable soba noodles also contain egg, so they're not vegan, as we expected. We therefore recommend updating the menu to address this shortcoming and perhaps offer the option of requesting certain dishes without egg.

04/02/2026: Returning after years, the food has no flavor. You can't tell what you're eating. What's more, they charge €12 for small children under 2 and a half.

06/04/2026: The place is really very, very nice, the food is average, but what really leaves something to be desired is the service. There were several "forgivable" mistakes, but there were six of us, and the main course arrived at three different times: the first two pork fillets, then two more main courses after 10 minutes, and after 20 minutes the last suckling pig, which they had definitely forgotten about. Absolutely not worth the trip.

22/03/2026: Very nice place, friendly and helpful service. Unfortunately, we chose the tasting menu because it was our first time at Osteria di Confine. The menu consists of six courses, none of which were good, not even dessert. I'd like to return to try the à la carte menu, but I don't know if that will happen because we ate some tasteless and poorly executed dishes. It's a shame because it's a nice place with very good service. The price is obviously high for what we ate, but the wines are average.
