02/03/2026: It's a pretty nice place. The waiters rush you, especially when you've finished eating. I had a Mavala platter for 14 euros, and it was very meager. There was a gnocchi, a slice of polenta, a slice of omelette, two slices of prosciutto, a mini bruschetta with brie and zucchini, and a ricotta. The whole thing probably cost less than 5 euros. At least they presented it differently, just to deceive the eye. When I mentioned this to the owner, he replied that he's been doing it like this for 11 years and no one's complained. The pizzas weren't that great. I don't know about the first courses. Anyway, I won't be going back.

06/04/2026: It's hard to choose where to start. My friends and I chose this place for Easter lunch. There were four menus to choose from: seafood, meat, vegetarian, and vegan.
My friends and I chose seafood and meat, so I'll focus on these two. But after trying this restaurant, I'd also take my vegan friends there, confident they'd return home satisfied.
In general, I've rarely eaten so well in one place. I'll try to review everything we tried, and since there are so many, I'll repeat some adjectives. My apologies.
The shrimp, crostini, and vegetable Catalana was perfectly balanced; the fresh shrimp made all the difference, and the cooking was impeccable.
The tuna tartare, stracciatella, mint, and peach was a completely unexpected surprise. I didn't like mint, so I had low expectations, but after trying it, I completely changed my mind. The tuna was incredibly fresh, the mint was a perfect addition, and this dish was also perfectly balanced (like everyone else, I think I'll stop saying that from now on).
We also ordered an off-menu item for my friend, who doesn't like raw fish. Instead of the tartare, they served her an octopus stew with crostini. I tried it, and I have to say, that was perfect, too, despite being off-menu.
As for the meat appetizers:
The veal with tuna sauce, caper flowers, and marinated egg was a new way to enjoy veal with tuna sauce. Capers aren't my favorite thing, but the caper flowers in this dish really kicked things up a notch.
The beef tartare, confit cherry tomatoes, stracciatella, and parmesan was also a discovery. Although the recipe is less original than the others, and I'd already tried a similar one elsewhere, I was still surprised by the balance (I know, I wrote I'd never write it again) of the dish.
After the appetizers, the chef was our hero. No dish turned out badly, no problem. Even though some ingredients didn't convince me on paper, they DEFINITELY convinced me once I tried the dishes.
Let's move on to the first and second courses:
The seafood menu features paccheri with asparagus, mantis shrimp, and lemon for the first course, and grilled octopus in romesco sauce and spinach for the second course.
The mantis shrimp sauce was perfect, just the right amount of flavor but also delicate. The asparagus and lemon neither covered nor were covered by the mantis shrimp, resulting in a perfect dish.
I often eat octopus, but I'd never heard of this romesco sauce paired with it. I think it's a spicy pepper sauce, tasted on its own. I liked it, but for a moment my confidence wavered in the pairing, a wavering that lasted about three seconds, or the time it took to try the octopus with the sauce. It was so good that we took a portion home to take out, which was still good the next day.
For the meat menu: tagliatelle with prosciutto, lemon, and asparagus, and beef fillet, mashed potatoes, and chicory.
The tagliatelle were fresh, the pairing was excellent, and the flavor was remarkable. It's a more common dish than the rest, but it was executed to perfection.
The fillet was cooked to perfection. I asked for it to be rare, and they served it rare, exactly as I expected. The meat was free of sinew and melted in the mouth. The mashed potatoes were excellent, with just the right amount of butter.
For dessert, both menus include a reinterpretation of tiramisu, without coffee and with raspberry, which I also find truly exceptional (plus, the lack of coffee is an added bonus for me, but even if it's not for you, trust me: try it).
The staff He's friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. The place is on the beach, elegant, and suitable for both groups and couples.
In short: I'll be back, and if you were unsure whether to try this place: give it a try, because I'm sure it will enchant you just as it enchanted me!

23/08/2025: We ordered pizzas to go, a mix of pizzas by the slice for a birthday. Delicious, crispy yet soft and incredibly flavorful! Next time, we'll try the traditional round ones, which look delicious!

23/03/2026: The food was very good and the atmosphere was welcoming, but the prices were a bit high. One downside was that, presumably by accident, we were overcharged by €13, but unfortunately, we only realized this when we did the math once we got home (we weren't given a receipt, just the electronic payment).
22/12/2025: I went for dinner. The food was good, especially the sauces. The portions were also decent for the price. There's also a decent selection of drinks, wines, and beers. Basically, it offers a bit of everything. For €32, we had a full dinner (appetizer, main course, wine, and water). I'd go back. Reservations are recommended.

30/03/2026: Following the advice of friends, I organized my daughter's eighteenth birthday party at Pasta Madre. It was a resounding success. The staff was attentive, efficient, and helpful, the food and organization were perfect, and the DJ was engaging. Truly an evening to remember.
