06/04/2026: I'll start by saying I've never written such a negative review because I always try to be very positive and always see the bright side, but alas, I can't be today. Today was my second time here because I had a great time the first time—everything was perfect, from the quality of the food to the service and courtesy. Today, however, we had a terrible meal, worse service, and zero friendliness. I won't go into details so as not to be too harsh, but something has definitely changed at this Osteria because, as I repeat, we had a great time the first time we were there.

14/09/2025: My wife and I went here on a Friday evening in September. The place is nice, with an outdoor terrace and an indoor dining room. The service, however, leaves much to be desired: - they had seated us on the terrace, but we asked, and had to insist, that due to the unpleasant wind, we would prefer to dine inside. Being told that they had decided to use only the terrace that evening, otherwise the waiters would have been confused, was grotesque, but in the end we were granted our request (besides, there were already other diners inside, so I don't understand what the problem was). - a quarter of an hour to order. - a half-hour wait for beers, appetizers, and two pizzas (not even the drinks arrived immediately). - the pizzas arrive first, then the appetizer. - a couple at the next table orders eggplant appetizers, and suddenly, something completely different arrives; they politely protest, but the waitress replies that... that's what they have. In short... amateurs at random. The pizzas were good, though not unforgettable, but definitely good. The potato croquets were good, but probably frozen. The prices were reasonable. We'd love to return to try the food (which many say is sublime), but... the promise isn't good. They could use at least one smart waiter in the dining room and more professionalism from the manager. You can't improvise in restaurants.

14/03/2026: The pizza looked excellent, with a light and fluffy crust. It's a shame I ordered paella. The rice was really undercooked, hard to swallow (and I love rice and pasta al dente), and soaked in oil. All the seafood was definitely frozen and far too chewy. I'm giving it two stars, not one, for the excellent service and the pizza, which definitely would have been a better choice. For the price, I really expected more from what's considered their flagship dish. I wouldn't eat it again 🙏

12/01/2026: I don't usually write bad reviews, but this time I'll make an exception. I go to this restaurant's website and find a menu that says they also do takeout or delivery. I call to order a portion of chicken with potatoes (the menu says the chicken weighs about 1 kg and costs 16 euros), but they tell me they don't do delivery and that the menu is out of date (maybe it's time to update it). "To be fair," they inform me that the portion isn't 1 kg but rather a thigh + drumstick +, of course, potatoes, and that the price is 15 euros per portion. Okay, I'll order for pickup. I arrive, pay, and get in the car ready to leave, but I decide to check the portions because the containers seemed small and light... I was right, the portions were indeed very small, and I decide to go back to ask if everything was correct. They tell me those are the correct portions. Obviously, the waiters and cashiers aren't to blame, so I say goodbye and leave. Once I get home, I weigh the chicken and potatoes to be as accurate as possible: Chicken portion 1: 160 g Chicken portion 2: 185 g Single portion of potatoes: 210 g Total cost, including two 33cl Cokes in glass bottles: €36 Honestly, this seems like an ABSURD price. I definitely won't be back! The staff (from what little I saw) seemed polite and friendly.

18/08/2025: We're talking about a beach resort that publishes illegal regulations on spiagge.it prohibiting the entry of food from outside the establishment onto the beach. It's an affront to Italian law, and they don't even bother to hide it. Shame on you!

15/10/2025: I've never written a negative review in my life, but the fact that no one in this place is clear that catering also means hospitality deserved an exception.

05/09/2025: The other night, I went to this place for a drink and to celebrate my birthday with some friends and my parents (there were about 10 of us). Unfortunately, the welcome wasn't the best. Even though there were several free tables (it was 8:30 PM), the owner told me they were all booked, and I, along with the other diners, were invited to sit at the high tables with stools, or else we'd have to leave since there were no other options. I tried in vain to explain to the very friendly owner that my father has a serious health problem and that we'd settle for just a low table for two, at least for him and his partner, so that we could guarantee him, given his condition, a seat with a backrest, but there was no availability; once again, "all the tables were reserved." After a long wait, the owner finally came to our second-rate table, with an attitude that was honestly, in my opinion, unnecessarily hostile. We ordered a bottle of wine (there were only four of us, waiting for everyone else) and an appetizer. As my friends arrived, even the mere request for a stool or simply more glasses and plates was annoying and was repeatedly ignored, so much so that in the end I took the stool myself. We ordered, in addition to more bottles of wine, some appetizers for the main course. We received plates and silverware only after asking for them. Furthermore, when I asked for yet another glass for the last person to arrive, the waiter said, "I'll check if they're available" (the place was half empty). Needless to say, the tables next to ours (all, he claimed, hopelessly booked) remained empty the entire evening, and I repeat, not a single person was seated, not even by mistake, from 8:30 PM until 12:30 AM. I understand that there may be rules, I understand everything, but in this case, a little more flexibility and attention would have made a difference. Furthermore, when it came time to pay, the tables on the other side were all half-empty, too; the excellent owner didn't even bother to come to the cashier to ask how the evening had gone. A terrible impression, with no professionalism or manners, and my birthday was ruined.

18/09/2025: A delightful little restaurant on the lovely Scario waterfront. Delicious dishes, fresh ingredients, and attentive staff. The marinated anchovies, octopus Leuciana-style, and the mixed fried fish were excellent. Highly recommended!

23/02/2026: TERRIBLE SERVICE. I personally really enjoyed the gelato, but the service was inhumane. When I entered the shop, I was the only customer, and there was no one behind the counter. An employee immediately came to the cash register (she didn't even greet me), and when I politely asked for gelato, complete with "please" and "thank you," she didn't even bother to let me know how much money I should insert into the self-service machine. She went to the gelato area of ​​the counter and, when I asked, literally REFUSED to mix the flavors I'd requested, forcing me to choose different flavors because she couldn't imagine mixing my combination. Since I knew what I was ordering, I let her assemble the cone anyway. Since I didn't want to question my choice of flavors, it should be her job to ADVISE, not dictate. Working with customers isn't for everyone, and I believe that basic courtesy and respect for others are essential. As someone who has worked with the public, I've always put work and personal issues above my brief interactions with clients. I advise the woman to improve her customer service approach, as it doesn't encourage customers to return and, therefore, to grow the business she works for and which provides her income.

18/03/2026: But tasty pizza can be good, too bad you can't eat a pizza that dries out in patches in the center... Either you don't know how to make it, or you're stingy. With what these pizzas cost these days, throw in another handful of toppings.

18/03/2026: Excellent pizza, light dough, but my favorite thing is the fried food, especially the croquette with mortadella and pistachio. Very friendly and helpful staff.

01/04/2026: The restaurant overall is good, the prices are fine, also considering the fact that we ate very much. The only issue is the food. I liked it and it's not that bad, but as an oriental restaurant, I expected something more than Philadelphia, because unfortunately, all this kind of restaurants serve a westernized sushi. But I suppose this also happens in other cities. Recommended but not the best I've tried

14/03/2026: The sushi looks good as it appears but as soon as you start eating it the rice is overcooked and very salty. I ate it without soy and I had said no spicy and no very spicy because I'm allergic.
