06/07/2026: The quality of the products is excellent, but there's a very rude waiter who hasn't been fired from this bar despite numerous customer complaints. Everyone in the area knows that the bar is unusable because of a person who disrupts the service with very unpleasant jokes and makes customers, especially women, feel uncomfortable. He must be very sad and frustrated, but that doesn't excuse his unprofessional work style. I sent many of my customers to the bar, and they promptly reported unprofessional behavior on the part of this specific individual. I hope the bar management takes action; it's a real shame not to be able to relax in such a central area of ​​the neighborhood.

05/07/2026: TERRIBLE service. Unfortunately, the waiter wasn't capable. We waited I don't know how long to be served, even after paying a supplement for table service. I cleared the table myself. I wasted no time paying first, and they told me they'd made a mistake. ABSURD. (Would you rather risk a customer eating and then running away? The waiter might be considered serious about all the time he wastes inside doing who knows what.)

09/12/2025: We just had lunch at this restaurant. All I can say is that between the location, the service (the staff are super friendly), and the food, it was a truly memorable experience. We had two first courses (Sea and Shell and Seafood Gnocchi), both unique for their distinct flavors and textures, and they were sublime! The two second courses (Umami Vesuvian and Genovese) were beautifully presented, very unique, and delicious. In my opinion, they were slightly less delicious than the first courses. In addition to the two first courses and second courses (modest quantities), we had a bottle of wine, two coffees, and a homemade dessert (huge). They also served us a welcome appetizer and two small samples of two other desserts. The total was €100. Considering the food we ate, the research, and the quality of the products, the price is fair. Another note in their favor: The bathroom is downstairs, but the disabled access and baby changing table are on the same floor as the dining room. That said, I can't recommend this place enough. We'll definitely be back to try other dishes, including the pizzas, which, like everything else on the menu, looked unique yet authentic. P.S.: The service is impeccable; the two guys are extremely polite and knowledgeable about everything. They definitely give that extra something that makes all the difference!

21/11/2025: Today I had the pleasure of dining at Portariva, a restaurant in Avella that surprises every day with the originality of its dishes and the chef's meticulous attention to detail. I found the staff generally very courteous and helpful. With each course, they took care to explain the history and flavors of the dish just served, ensuring an unforgettable experience. I'd like to end with a special mention for Michela, the owner; she's incredibly kind and professional. I highly recommend her.

22/04/2026: I returned after three years, and trusting the waitress's integrity, I trusted her when she told me there were no large Cokes. Instead, at a table where she knew the people, she brought two 2-liter Cokes. A lack of integrity on her part, and that of the owner. I don't recommend it; it was worse than a raw pizza.

23/05/2026: Called at 8:23 PM for 3 pizzas, and they told me 8:45 PM after calling 3 times. Arrived at destination, about 1km away, after 2 hours. Mostly burnt pizzas! For a total of €20.50, 2 Margheritas and a white pizza with arugula. Out of respect for the person delivering the pizzas, I didn't send it back.

11/01/2026: We were there this morning, my friends and I were in the gazebo. We couldn't turn on the stove because the day after I had ordered a non-alcoholic drink, it was all ice. Maybe they should have shaken it a bit more. They had only brought a cutting board with chips and olives, but at another table they had brought a different cutting board. Then they had rudely answered some customers because they had asked for the bill a long time ago. They had rudely answered them because only 4 of them were working.

09/01/2026: I've been a customer at this bar several times over the years, always finding it moderately unpleasant. The last time we went for a spritz on the 27th, we were treated badly (a long wait for our order, only to be kicked out after an hour) and paid €8 for a cocktail without even a peanut nearby. I can't imagine the same thing with the aperitif we had the last time and didn't dare repeat it (various types of unseasoned pickles and overcooked pasta with pesto, plus a few pizzas). By the time they realize that customers aren't worth ripping off, it'll always be too late.

06/02/2026: I tasted one of the best pizzas I've had in a long time! The dough was light, well-leavened, and had the perfect balance between crispiness and softness. The toppings were fresh and generous, with stringy mozzarella and authentically flavored tomatoes. It was cooked perfectly, neither burnt nor undercooked. The place is welcoming, the owner is a delightful person, and the staff is friendly and quick with their service. N.B. I encourage you to try their craft beers... kudos!

05/05/2026: One of the best pastry shops in central Salerno, just a few meters from the train station. Their specialty is the famous Millefoglie with custard and black cherries. The fried or baked zeppole di San Giuseppe are also excellent.
