One of the best pastry shops in central Salerno, just a few meters from the train station. Their specialty is the famous Millefoglie with custard and black cherries. The fried or baked zeppole di San Giuseppe are also excellent.

soooo yummy!! we went twice because it was so good the first time. perfect to grab some pastries and eat them near the dock. highly recommend the Diplomatica

15/05/2025: Locale grande con ampio parcheggio nelle vicinanze, affaccia sul mare e la vista è molto bella. Abbiamo preso la pizza, ci è piaciuta. Impasto leggero, ben lievitato, buoni gli ingredienti. Dopo abbiamo preso i crocchè, fritti bene, buoni. Il conto è stato piu' che giusto considerata anche la location.
09/02/2025: Ho prenotato di sabato sera ma senza alcuna offerta di sedermi subito. E invece, nonostante la fila fuori, siamo entrati subito, mangiato dopo 10 min nonostante ciò fosse da attendere. Una pizza meravigliosa. Che dire..... una mega sorpresa

27/05/2026: I've been coming here since I was a kid, and I must say the quality has always been high, as has the courtesy of the staff. Looking out over the cliffs, it's truly beautiful and quaint. I recommend Poggiolino, overlooking the sea, for a romantic breakfast.
