23/06/2025: Excellent restaurant located in the center of town, right in front of the theater, now closed like many businesses in town, for post-earthquake renovation (after almost ten years!). The restaurant looks good and I ate as a couple in a gazebo outside the restaurant two meters from the war memorial. The wait staff is friendly and kind and the dishes are all tasty, plentiful and respect the tradition of Umbrian cuisine with excellent strangozzi with truffles and everything else. Small dogs can be accommodated and the staff takes care of providing a bowl of water. I highly recommend a visit to this restaurant as it is truly worth it.

17/07/2025: 29street in Genova is a hidden gem! The atmosphere is modern yet welcoming, with friendly staff who make you feel right at home. The menu offers a great mix of traditional Ligurian flavors with a creative twist. I had the troffie al pesto, and it was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and authentically Genovese. You can tell they use high-quality ingredients and put real care into every dish. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, 29street is definitely worth a visit!

23/06/2025: Baracca e Burattini is a homey and delightful atmosphere that is tucked away from the usual tourist crowds. I arrived before my other two roommates and was first seated in the bar area which was filled with locals speaking Italian and enjoying drinks. The bar area also contained a couch with chairs which was different from any other bars I’ve seen and reminded me of the cafe in the show Friends due to the resemblance. After my roommates came and the server came over, we realized we were in the wrong section since there was a separate back section for food. The back room that the server brought us to was cozy and warmly lit. The decor on the walls of the paintings felt very homey along with the brick walls: What made the atmosphere complete was the calm beach music that was played at a comfortable volume that made us feel at ease while still being able to communicate with one another. When ordering, the server was very polite and always had a warm smile on her face. What amazed us about the service was that she didn’t treat us like tourists, but just like any other person in the restaurant, even though we were the only people speaking English at the time of arrival. The food of the restaurant felt very thought out and prepared distinctly. There is a note on the menu that reads that you may need to be prepared for long waits to keep the food authentic, which shows that they care about the quality of their food. I ordered the tortellini in a creamy parmesan sauce which was decadent yet balanced. I had not eaten much before and the portion size felt perfect. The appetizer we ordered came out with our food yet strangely felt more like a dessert. It was a cheese-filled donut roll that oozed upon taking a bite. The roll was topped with arugula, honey, and balsamic. It was very different than anything I have ordered here in Italy and enjoyed trying something new. The Campari spritz that I ordered with my meal was too bitter for my taste, but that may just be my personal preference since it was my first time trying it. The Instagram account of the restaurant displays a homey atmosphere, with a slightly modern twist. The Instagram shows that the people working in the restaurant show great pride in their food. The experience overall made me appreciate the quietly elegant food culture and I would visit this restaurant again.

20/06/2025: I loved it. It's a clean place with a good, homey atmosphere. The food is excellent and the prices are fair. The service is excellent. You can split the bill among your group, jointly or individually. From the outside, you can't tell how big it is inside. I recommend it.

31/05/2025: I never write reviews in places I've only been once, because in one time you can't give a fair review, whether positive or negative. From Biagio, after ordering so many pizzas, I can say that the quality and goodness are truly excellent. P.S. At night I don't drink water as if I had eaten 1 kg of salt and I don't feel my stomach bloated. This makes me deduce that the products and the workmanship are of good quality; they are also kind. I forgot, they are punctual in deliveries. Thanks.

06/07/2025: Siempre es un lugar favorito para regresar: el menú rotativo con ingredientes locales frescos es una alegría. Los Tagliate de Ternera son tan deliciosos como bellos a la vista. El huevo poché con trufa es una forma delicada y equilibrada de empezar la comida. Las porciones son del tamaño adecuado. La sorpresa favorita fueron los raviolis de patata con ragú de conejo. Las fotos del atardecer son las mejores: no dejes que el viaje por las colinas te desanime: vale la pena el pequeño tiempo de viaje fuera de la ciudad. ¡Esperamos volver el próximo verano!

03/07/2025: 3 parejas alojadas en la propiedad disfrutaron de una cena maravillosa. La comida estuvo genial Sabor y presentación. Sin embargo, para un restaurante con estrella Michelin, el servicio fue excesivamente lento. La única razón que se me ocurre es que tenían poco personal. Los dos servidores estaban trabajando muy duro y realmente querían ayudar. Lo recomiendo pero date mucho tiempo (muchas horas).

23/05/2025: A restaurant that exudes passion and history, the owner took us on a tour of the ancient building in which the restaurant is located and dining surrounded by that environment was wonderful. Very high level cuisine and at a more than fair price, very friendly staff and owner who know how to put you at ease. Overall an experience that is worth it. Be careful because you have to book in advance.

05/05/2025: Interesting experience: very good ricotta ravioli with pork sauce, nice choice of mixed starter, hot pizza dough "grissini" much appreciated! I got a "mixed roast" which is equivalent to grilled meat. The wine is good. Very nice owner!

13/06/2025: Most punctual pizzeria in Genoa. The pizzas are really good, topped with quality ingredients, but the strong point of this pizzeria is punctuality. After years of trying and constantly changing pizzerias, my family and I have finally found someone who respects the delivery time. Our most sincere compliments to all the staff, I highly recommend.
