21/10/2025: My husband and I hiked the Silent Villages Trail, and on our second stop, we dined at the Uva Passera Osteria. Excellent lasagna and sautéed chicory with a fantastic burger (I'm celiac and was able to eat without any problems). Excellent cuisine, a warm welcome, and all the sunshine of Umbria and this splendid village of Morre, with its many lovely people. (I also wanted to mention the girl from the Arci club.)

23/03/2026: We had dinner there one evening in mid-March 2026. The people were very kind, friendly, and helpful. We ate very well and spent what we expected.
21/03/2026: After a very long leg of the Silent Villages trail, we were warmly welcomed and refreshed with a wonderful aperitif by Manuela and Simona. The rooms are equipped with every comfort and offer a splendid view of the hills. They are very clean. We also stayed for dinner, and what can we say: simply superb, with typical local products, cooked with love. Since we were leaving earlier than scheduled for breakfast, they prepared a basket for us with everything we needed to enjoy it in the apartments.
A truly wonderful welcome!!! We recommend this property to everyone and wish these two women all the best ❤️

03/04/2026: While traveling from Orvieto to Perugia, I stopped to admire a beautiful lake called Lago di Corbara. During the drive, I spotted a village at the top that looked like it would offer a great view, so I decided to head up without any prior planning. As a result, I stumbled upon this lovely shop, and the view from the terrace was truly artistic. The service was friendly, and the price was very reasonable at 1.50 euros for a cappuccino. Card payments were hassle-free, and I really appreciated that it was located in a quiet residential area. It is a place I definitely want to visit again on my next trip to Italy.

07/12/2025: A well-maintained and well-maintained establishment, popular with locals and tourists, offering quality and quantity, suitable for ceremonies or simple birthday banquets, or even small groups or romantic dinners. It has several indoor rooms, including two large ones for larger events. The staff is friendly and courteous, the kitchen is well-stocked and well-organized, and every detail is carefully considered, creating a relaxing atmosphere. Outside, there's a large garden with a swimming pool, beautifully landscaped with plants and their embellishments, outdoor sofas and gazebos for relaxing and entertaining, and all this complemented by a picturesque lake view. Ample free and convenient parking is available. Highly recommended, and to be on the safe side, book in advance.

29/08/2025: A unique, family-run place surrounded by greenery, charming and well-kept, to say the least, where you're welcomed by highly competent staff whose eyes sparkle with passion.
Their beer is excellent, and we even took a short tour of the very charming brewery, where Maurizio explained the production process to us in detail and professionally.
The cuisine, featuring locally sourced vegetables, homemade breadsticks, and bread, is both tasty and refined.
For me, a vegetarian, they created a special menu with well-balanced dishes, which I truly appreciated.
Since it was a ceremony, albeit an intimate one, we asked for menu cards to be made: Roberta not only had already taken care of them without us even asking, but she also hand-designed the decorations, adding a unique and special touch.
I highly recommend it: you can tell the owners really put their heart into everything they offer.
19/07/2025: A truly excellent small craft brewery. We tasted their main beers and took home two boxes as souvenirs of the silent villages. The owner is very kind and helpful. You can feel the passion of a family who dedicates their free time to an activity they love.

01/01/2026: We inquired twice whether the campsite had any vacancies in April and received no response whatsoever; they were completely ignored. Now we have booked a different campsite for the three weeks.
12/10/2025: We stopped by this quiet spot for lunch, surrounded by greenery. We ate on the veranda, which offers a glimpse of Lake Corbara.
We had an appetizer of various bruschettas and two first courses each: house-made tortellini alla montanara and fettuccine with wild boar...all delicious!
The owner is kind and courteous!!!

04/03/2026: Nice restaurant, with a visible grill. The atmosphere wasn't very pleasant; as soon as we entered, everyone began to study us and figure out what a strange planet we were from (ironically speaking). It's obvious it's a small-town restaurant and they're not used to people from out of town, but that's not the restaurant owners' fault. I'd recommend some music because I don't like the sound of forks clattering at other tables, much less hearing conversations at other tables. Cooking meat is nice to do in the dining room, but not the carving, especially of large pieces. In fact, we witnessed someone carving it with a cleaver, and the banging on the cutting board echoed throughout the dining room. The service was good and attentive. The food was very home-made, but I expected better quality meat, and especially a cleaner cut, as I ordered a fillet and it was full of sinew…
The wine in a jug was fantastic and very good. Order and rating of food from 1 to 10

12/09/2025: Excellent farmhouse 15 minutes from the Orvieto motorway exit, excellent food (try their tortelli), clean and spacious rooms.
27/08/2025: We were passing through and stopped for lunch. We ate excellent homemade tagliatelle and vegetables and fruit from the garden. I think we will return to visit the area.

05/05/2025: Tornando da Todi verso Orvieto, ci siamo fermati per una cena veloce in questa trattoria.
Ambiente semplice e informale con una cucina tradizionale umbra.
Cibo gustoso e porzioni abbondanti, servizio attento e rapido. Prezzi economici rispetto a quelli praticati nelle cittadine citate sopra. La semplicità costa meno dell'eleganza. L'importante però è il sapore del cibo.
Vorrei dire: ci torneremo, magari per assaggiare gli arrosti a pranzo. Ma visto che, dopo tanti giri in Umbria, era la prima volta... chissà se ripasseremo da lì.
