02/04/2024: Great and friendly service A bit disappointed by the food. For example the fettuccine al tartuffo were actually with tartuffata which is a mix of truffle and mushroom instead of just truffle. It was still very tasty but should have been mentioned. Dessert was delicious

31/03/2024: Posto carino, forse un pochino sopra le righe nell’arredo. Comunque personale puntuale ed attento. Ho mangiato cavolo ripassato con pizza fritta, buono. Poi zuppa di sedano nero, in filo salata ma il gusto c’era. Torta con pere al sagrantino, ottima. Conto giusto

13/02/2024: Restaurant found by pure chance while we were passing by: beautiful and well-kept location, excellent quality food and friendly, friendly staff. Prices perhaps not absolutely low, but certainly not expensive given the quality of what we ate; In my opinion, the portions are absolutely adequate to satiate the majority of customers. Lastly, I appreciated the willingness to provide us with an "extra menu" dish for the children. Excellent in every respect!

28/04/2024: A fabulous place. A historic bastion immersed in the tranquility of the Monte Subasio park. The staff and owners are very kind. The room was clean and has air conditioning, refrigerator and TV. From the hotel terrace you can admire the sunset and have an aperitif. Dogs are allowed 🐾. Another very positive note concerns the food. We chose half board and were very happy with our choice. Every day the menu was different, with starter, soup, first course, second course, dessert, wines and water included. Excellent quality local products, especially olive oil. Our favorite dish was the crusted filet; the truffle sauce and olives were also special. I highly recommend it if you are looking for peace and rest. Thank you very much to the owners!

17/04/2024: Il Bastione has a wonderful sense of history and respect for the land, and the hosts are happy to share about it. The breakfasts are outstanding. Jacopo also cooked us a spectacular traditional meal one of the nights, full of foods and drink produced by his farm: sausages, cheese, pork filets, honey, wines. The views are gorgeous, and it was overall just a beautiful, relaxing place for us to stay. We also enjoyed going into Spello and wandering that beautiful, flower-filled town. Highly recommend Agriturismo Il Bastione!

03/04/2024: Don't miss this typical Umbrian restaurant for the atmosphere of a true friends' cellar, especially if you dine at the long table at the entrance. Definitely try the snail skewers. The owner, Mr. Efisio, is a charismatic and very affable person.

25/02/2024: Inside the village of Collepino, between the green of nature and the pink of the stone there is the San Silvestro tavern ... a timeless place, with Niki's welcome and quality dishes you can't help but be enchanted. Agnolotti with artichoke ragout, grilled lamb and smoked scamorza with truffle. Recommended for taking a break from the daily frenzy and enjoying excellent Umbrian products.

07/01/2024: I returned after 20 years and I assure you that the mushrooms they offer are difficult to forget. Rustic style tavern located in an extremely characteristic village of a few souls. Kind owners and a very familiar environment. Anyone who visits Umbria and its beauties should stop in this tavern.

02/04/2024: The food I ordered was cold and tasteless, as if it had been prepared a long time ago and then simply reheated. The dishes lacked freshness and originality, and the price was definitely too high for what we received. Furthermore, the environment was noisy and chaotic, with noisy customers disturbing the tranquility of the place. There was no attention to customer comfort, and the entire experience was unpleasant and stressful.

17/12/2023: Appena fuori una delle porte cittadine, pensavamo ad una osteria dove ti aspetti di trovare cortesia. Invece la giovane cameriera musona non conosce la parola prego a fronte dei nostri ripetuti grazie e si vede che le pesa servire al tavolo.Cibo sotto le aspettative...2 primi, uno con sugo aspro e pezzi vari di carne e l'altro con piselli prosciutto e funghi che sapeva tutto tranne che di fresco. Al momento del conto aumentato di pochi euro rispetto al menù ...ma sicuramente si è trattato di un errore, . abbiamo pensato che i nostri soldi non erano stati ben spesi. Non consigliato.

03/04/2024: We had dinner there two evenings and, on both occasions, we had a very, very, very good time. The place is welcoming and decidedly pleasing to the eye. All the staff proved helpful, kind and (above all) prepared. The dishes, cooked with taste and balance, were definitely appreciated by all of us, to the point that the youngest of the company said: "Exquisite!"
