07/01/2026: The space is spacious and clean. Despite the fire, there's absolutely no smell, which isn't a given. The service is exceptionally polite and fast. The meat is excellent. The platters are delicious. We were able to enjoy lunch with my furry friends, and we weren't the only ones. Despite this, I repeat, everything is very clean. Thank you.

04/01/2026: We had dinner at this lovely restaurant and had a great time. The pizzas were good and the meat was excellent. The staff was friendly, and despite the restaurant being busy, they were attentive and helpful. I recommend it to everyone!!

04/07/2026: A good restaurant. Beautiful window overlooking the lake, even though it's on the street. Excellent lake fish dishes. The tagliolini with smoked tench is delicious, and the carp in porchetta is excellent—a truly excellent dish, highly recommended. Fast service, the waitress was a bit inexperienced, but still good.

30/06/2026: I was in the area and a friend I trust recommended it to me, and it was well worth the effort. A lovely place, Andrea and Co. are never stuffy and always very kind, happy to guide you through the local cuisine. Lake fish is presented in a solid and elegant way! I had the creamed pike and tagliolini with smoked tench, and both were truly delicious and well-made! Great wine list. I'll be back as soon as I can.

12/08/2026: The lady who welcomed me was wonderful, super helpful and attentive. The atmosphere was very well-kept and clean. I highly recommend it. The rooms had air conditioning, a refrigerator, and were equipped with everything you need. If I were to return to this area, I'm sure I'd stay here first. :)

29/07/2026: We dined here this evening and had a very positive experience. The food offers excellent value, and the outdoor terrace is truly delightful for a summer dinner. If you're looking for sophisticated dishes or cuisine that focuses primarily on aesthetics, this is probably not the place for you. If, however, you value flavor, substance, and generous portions, then I recommend it without hesitation. We started with bruschetta, which was excellent and at a price that's truly hard to find these days. The sautéed mussels and clams was plentiful, well-balanced in flavor, and truly tasty. The pizza was also good. The service deserves special mention. There was a small error with our order, but it was resolved immediately, with great professionalism and courtesy. We also had the impression that a discount was applied to our bill without even being noticed: a discreet gesture that I greatly appreciated. Mistakes can happen to anyone; what really makes the difference is how you correct them. In this case, they demonstrated customer service, and this outweighs the initial oversight. We'll definitely be back. Kudos to the entire staff!

17/08/2026: A very good restaurant, meticulously maintained down to the smallest details. The dishes were delicious and beautifully presented, from the appetizers to the main courses and the meat. After eating, we found ourselves with an extra €7 on our bill for just the cheese, a cheese fondue I'd specifically asked the waitress for in a small amount, which I intended to use as a topping on the baked potatoes that accompanied the meat. When I mentioned this at the cashier, I was rudely told I should have mentioned it immediately, right before taking two spoonfuls from a pan full of cheese, which I didn't know I'd be paying for. The cheese fondue was returned to the kitchen almost exactly as it had been when it left the kitchen. Not a good impression, in my opinion; the attitude ruined what could otherwise have been a good meal.

06/05/2026: The restaurant is uniquely decorated with many antiques and a beautiful atmosphere. It's a small restaurant serving mainly seafood, using top-quality ingredients. The service was equally excellent.

28/07/2026: If you want to eat seafood in Passignano sul Trasimeno, Ristorante Sottovento is my best choice. You can immediately tell that the fish is delivered daily: the freshness is not only visible, but also evident in the aroma. The real highlight is undoubtedly the tartare: incredibly fresh, fragrant, and prepared with great care. Next, I tried their Padellaccia di Mare, a slightly spicy fish soup, rich in flavor, and truly inviting. The other dishes also lived up to expectations. The menu is extensive, but each course is prepared fresh, and you can sense the attention to the quality of the ingredients. The handmade pasta is also very popular. The restaurant is one of the most refined in the Trasimeno area: the atmosphere is elegant yet welcoming, ideal for a seafood dinner. The service was attentive and friendly. The waiters were always kind, and one waitress in particular explained the menu to us with great helpfulness and expertise, which I truly appreciated. There was only a short wait between courses, but nothing that ruined the evening. The only thing that I wasn't entirely impressed with were the desserts. They weren't bad at all, quite the opposite, but after such a high-quality seafood dinner, I expected a similarly savoury finale. More than a criticism of the desserts, it was the rest of the dinner that really raised the bar. In conclusion, this is a restaurant I definitely recommend to anyone looking for quality seafood, carefully prepared dishes, and professional service. I will definitely return.

12/08/2026: Beautiful from the outside, but a complete dump. The pizza frutti di mare was full of shellfish... shells and all. The insalata mista tasted only of celery. Millions of mosquitoes everywhere (inside and out), but nobody seemed to care. An employee came and asked if we wanted something to drink; we said yes and were about to order when he left, bringing us only a bottle of water. We weren't able to order until 20 minutes later. The food arrived quickly, but as I said, it really wasn't good, although the prices were good. Music was playing in the background, but it was very loud.

06/08/2026: Beautiful and characteristic place, we ate pizza and a portion of fries plus 2 medium lager beers, kind and attentive staff, fast service, I recommend it, everything was perfect, I'm not from the area but I come from Milan so I'm not biased, total 30 euros

09/08/2026: A small lakeside restaurant with a beautiful view. Attentive yet informal service, the hostess is very helpful and attentive. A wide variety of raw fish dishes, although the winner was the baked monkfish. Tender and incredibly flavorful.
