24/09/2025: Bad experience. Bland truffle pasta and porcini mushroom pasta. Eel in a greasy sauce. Expensive, 4 euros per person. Decor is out of date. Disappointing, even though the Google rating was good.

11/09/2025: Great food, decent prices, great service. The staff speaks english. We payed 33 euro for 2 pizzas, 2 aperol spritzes, and a bottle of water. EDIT. It was so good that we came back the next day and had an antipasti and a foccacia to share. Both great!

04/09/2025: It must have been a bad night, but the pizza had sour stracciatella. The fried food was good, except that half the cauliflower in the batter was raw. The staff was very friendly.

12/10/2025: Beautiful place on Lake Trasimeno. We went because it was recommended. Some cured meats were truly exquisite, others seemed dry, and the cheeses were the same.

07/10/2025: Excellent experience, the house wine was excellent, the pici al truffle was excellent, and the tagliatelle al chinguiale was truly delicious. I would only add some good classical Italian music, but the experience is definitely one I'd repeat. A great date for couples. The waiter was very helpful and professional.

22/03/2025: Era da tempo che avevamo puntato questo locale, ma per un motivo o l'altro non eravamo mai riusciti a realizzare questo progetto, comunque credeteci: l'attesa è stata ampiamente ripagata!! Il signor Carlo e tutto il suo staff, si prodigano per farti sentire a proprio agio, cibo superlativo! Abbiamo preso l'antipastissimo, un vero tripudio di sapori, poi la carpa regina in porchetta ed il tegamaccio ai funghi, tutto buonissimo!! Il locale non è grandissimo, ma è ben sfruttato e nel rispetto delle distanze che ancora oggi è bene mantenere memori di un passato non molto lontano. Esperienza positivissima, grazie sig. Carlo!!

At Passo di Giano, we were captivated by authentic cuisine, showcasing the flavors of lake fish with skill and passion. We began with a rich assortment of lake appetizers, incredibly fresh and beautifully presented, which alone were worth the visit: delicate yet bold flavors, thoughtful pairings, and top-quality ingredients. The highlight of the lunch was a spectacular mixed lake grill, with perfectly cooked and flavorful fish, followed by two memorable dishes: eel in white wine, tender and intense, and grilled carp, surprisingly tasty and served impeccably cooked. To accompany everything, an excellent local wine, carefully chosen and perfect for enhancing each course. To finish on a sweet note, a simply delicious caramel panna cotta: creamy, velvety, and with an aromatic caramel that won everyone over. The service was warm and attentive, with friendly and helpful staff who were able to offer excellent advice. The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxed, perfect for enjoying a quiet lunch, with a view of the lake that makes everything even more special. Delicious dishes, cooked with love and carefully presented, excellent service, and a stunning location with a breathtaking view of Lake Trasimeno. Congratulations to Massimo, the chef, Maurizio, Lorenzo, and Manuela, who, with their expertise, manage to bring the sea to Umbria!
