21/07/2025: An excellent restaurant if you're looking for a tasty, reasonably priced lunch without too many pretensions. The food is good, with decent portions and quick service. However, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone on vacation looking for an elegant or quiet place: the atmosphere is rather spartan and very noisy. During my visit, the noise level was truly excessive, with many tables talking at very high volumes. Unfortunately, it became annoying, making even normal conversation difficult.

04/08/2025: Sono stata a cena con un’amica, siamo state veramente benissimo, trattate come principesse. Locale veramente molto bello, personale gentilissimo e super disponibile. Cibo squisito, l’impiattamemto particolare e visivamente suggestivo, decorati eccelsamente. Ci è rimasto impresso come è stata impiantata la Sella di San Venanzo, in modo originale e creativo, e poi impressa nel cuore anche la bontà dei taglioli. Questo ristorante crea dipendenza. Complimenti al personale. Torneremo sicuramente ❤️

04/08/2025: Un’esperienza culinaria davvero straordinaria! Ogni dettaglio, dall’accoglienza calorosa del personale alla cura nella presentazione dei piatti, è stato impeccabile. I sapori erano autentici e ben bilanciati: si percepisce chiaramente la qualità degli ingredienti e la passione dello chef. Ambiente raffinato ma accogliente, perfetto sia per una cena romantica che per un’occasione speciale. Torneremo sicuramente! Consigliatissimo!

31/07/2025: Eccellente indirizzo a Montefalco: cucina di tradizione molto curata, bella location, ottime carni, servizio corretto. Tartufi e sagrantino protagonisti. Assolutamente consigliabile.

28/07/2025: Once in Montefalco, we decided to dine at this beautiful, high-quality restaurant. It's hard to find because it's on a street parallel to the main street, so you'll need to use your GPS navigation system to find the sign. We tried the recommended appetizer of oven-baked zucchini flowers, delicious. We then continued with tagliatelle with white veal ragù (super creamy and flavorful) and grilled lamb (excellently cooked and delicately flavored). The menu also includes dishes for non-meat eaters, including one of the most delicious dishes, recommended by the staff: pappardelle al Sagrentino. To top it all off, a fabulous ricotta and chocolate cake, magnificent. I highly recommend it.

21/07/2025: An alchemy of flavors and senses. A welcoming and unique atmosphere. The young woman who served us was so lovely; her stories made you fall in love with a dish, wine, or dessert. A discovery in an enchanting, quiet location, where time seems to stand still. Then we met the pastry chef...an artist who infuses her customers' dreams and desires into her creations. Each dish is a discovery of extraordinary flavors and combinations, and when it comes to dessert, the choice becomes overwhelming...the house's signature dessert is a chamomile ice cream, white chocolate rocher, and...nothing else, you have to come here to discover a treasure trove of precious delights and wonderful people.

12/07/2025: Before our trip I spent considerable time reading reviews and recommendations for restaurants along the way. Enoteca L'Alchimista was "the" restaurant in Montefalco, and I completely agree. Some of the best food we had on our trip. Great helpful staff with wine recommendations too! Try the Sagrantino, don't be afraid! It's excellent!

08/08/2025: I've been touring all the restaurants and taverns in Montefalco for years, and each time I can't help but agree that this is hands down the best place to eat. Dishes with sophisticated and tasty combinations, an intimate and "intellectual" atmosphere with books scattered on the tables to browse between courses, and warm and friendly service... A truly unique experience.

17/07/2025: This is by far the most amazing food that we tried in Italy. Every course was amazing, from the soup. to the pasta, to the rabbit, to the amazing truffle dessert.

09/08/2025: After months of waiting, Giorgione finally met all my expectations! All my expectations were met. The restaurant is rustic and very welcoming, close to the historic center of Montefalco, which I always recommend. The appetizer buffet is incredible and limitless. Cold cuts, cheeses, olives, various salads, exceptional carpaccio, and so many other delicious treats that it's impossible to list. Two first courses and two surprising second courses, each one different, with generous but not overwhelming portions. A trio of desserts to finish. Nice wine selection, not overly extensive but full of gems like the Montefalco DOC or the Sagrantino (be careful with the ABV, they're both strong!) The staff are friendly and helpful, and the icing on the cake... Giorgione, who shows up halfway through the meal and greets every table, makes everything even more authentic. The price is excellent for what they offer, €38 excluding drinks. Even though the wait is long, it's an experience worth trying; it's worth the wait.

09/08/2025: Very welcoming restaurant, two first courses are served, followed by two second courses, with an unimaginable variety of side dishes and appetizers from the buffet, and then finished with a trio of desserts, all cooked with local products!! Everything was really very good!! 🤩 And if you want, at the end of the evening there is Mr. Giorgio (Giorgione) who is available for a beautiful photo to remember the wonderful experience.

27/07/2025: Ristorante molto carino e caratteristico, ha riaperto da poco dopo i lavori di ristrutturazione e siamo subito tornati. È ancora più bello e buono, olio e vino i loro cavalli di battaglia. Massimo il gestore è una persona squisita, assolutamente da andare se si passa per Montefalco

16/03/2025: A place to absolutely visit, Martina super professional and friendly, we took the testo cake with salami and pecorino with Sagrantino, take-away cured meats and Montefalco wines, she let us taste everything first, very good

08/06/2025: Well, this was the best ice cream I've had in a long time... and we've been on a road trip through Italy for a good week now. I don't understand the 4.1 stars. Friends, go to this shop and eat ice cream! :D This shop should have at least 4.8 stars. We came here on the recommendation of a local. Really, really good and very friendly. Just make sure you get the cone you like best. There are different types.

06/08/2025: Set back a few meters from the main avenue, Falisco doesn't seem like a particularly attractive place at first glance, but once you're seated, you realize the food is king. Two exceptional off-menu first courses, two delicious desserts, coffee, water, and a half-liter of wine for €42. Excellent, I'd say. Very friendly staff and fast service. I absolutely recommend it!

31/07/2025: We happened upon the Falisco restaurant in Montefalco today for lunch, and it was a pleasant discovery. Outdoor seating in the shade, quiet and breezy, rich and tasty appetizers. We had first courses with REAL truffles, which were not only delicious but also plentiful. The service was excellent and the prices fair. Keep up the good work, see you next time.
