28/02/2026: We've been coming here for years. The staff and the food are both solid, and they're two elements that can't be separated. The specialty is meat. Another specialty is the Maître d'. He makes the desserts, welcomes you, recognizes you, and always offers two dishes off the menu. Something we appreciate and try. The quality is unquestionable. The wines are unquestionable. The wine selection we request must exclude the usual winery known for its Sagrantino. There are dozens of local wineries that make a Sagrantino that's superior to the renowned ones, if not "marred" by the name. Take their advice and you'll find yourself in a new world. Price should be the least of your worries. Here, we're at the level of Michelin-starred cuisine.

27/02/2026: Second visit, the restaurant really lived up to the reviews. This time I had grilled meat, the fillet with truffle was extraordinary. Everything was delicious with competent and polite staff. I will definitely be back.

23/02/2026: One of the best restaurants of my life!! I went for dinner with my family, there were four of us. The place is very refined and elegant, and the waiters and staff in general are extremely knowledgeable and friendly. We started with a tasting of their bread and olive oil, and a welcome drink, which was a vegetable soup. The bread was warm and soft, and the vegetable soup was excellent. Then we had three appetizers: a saddle of ham with focaccia and pineapple, an egg with parmesan and truffle, and a pumpkin pie with amaretti biscuits and sausage, and everything was truly delicious. Then we moved on to the main courses, two ducks with pumpkin sauce and a veal cheek with wine reduction. The meat was incredibly tender, cooked to perfection, and the pairings were excellent. We finished the evening with a dark chocolate parfait, three chocolate and chili crumbles, and a persimmon mousse. I think they were the best desserts of my life. For drinks, we had two glasses of red wine and water. The total bill was €270. I will definitely be back, highly recommended!!

16/02/2026: We had a truly wonderful meal. The restaurant is beautifully decorated; the Domitian tables are spectacular, as are the placemats. The service is attentive and courteous, without ever being intrusive. The wine list is truly noteworthy, with a special focus on local labels. The truffle strangozzi are exceptional, as are the ravioli filled with Genovese. The pigeon as a main course is a must. See you next time!

You can spend less by trying fewer dishes, but the menu encourages you to try as many as possible. I'll definitely be back.

Passion is at home here, making it the perfect place for special dinners. The menu would require multiple occasions to be fully explored. In the dining room, Guglielmo explains the menu, which in the kitchen is expertly prepared by Sara, who, in addition to her culinary creations, is also the author of several of the drawings displayed throughout the restaurant. And what about the prosciuttos displayed on the counter, which Guglielmo slices by hand as needed? Can Montefalco be without wine? Of course not, and Guglielmo is ready to offer suggestions for pairing food and wine. Everything is excellent! And so much more to try!!! A place where all the senses are satisfied. 05/12/2025: Saturday. Rain mixed with snow. Cold. The lit door invites you to take refuge in the warmth. Luck is on our side. There's room for two, despite a fortunate cancellation (reservations are required). I can't adequately describe this charming little restaurant, because it's a place full of details and perfectly fitted details. The smiling manager explains the menu, which appears like a delicate watercolor in his hands. Hand-cut prosciutto, aged for a long time. The fat is nectar that melts and blends with the bread. I give in to the lure of truffles with ancient grains. I understand the meaning of the watercolor precisely because the food releases a thousand colors of flavor in my mouth. A glass of ruby-red Sagrantino and, to finish, dessert. A tart. No, THE tart. Everything is sublime. Everything. The music, the atmosphere, the food, the service, the stick of palo santo in the bathroom. Congratulations to everyone!

23/02/2026: I had the pleasure of eating at this restaurant with my boyfriend, and I can only leave a glowing review! From the first moment, you can sense the quality and selection of each product. Every ingredient is excellent, from the choice of cured meats (the prosciutto is incredible) to their olive oil! One gesture I really appreciated was the welcome appetizer so he could try it! A lovely idea that demonstrates pride, transparency, and a desire to share the quality that sets them apart. The price is very fair for the thought and quality behind each dish! I would have left a five-star review regardless of the impeccable culinary experience, but I want to add a personal note: unfortunately, I fell (through my own carelessness), and the entire staff was incredibly kind and attentive. They immediately helped me with great care, making sure I was okay and demonstrating a humanity that goes beyond simple table service. I recommend everyone to go!!

30/12/2025: Found it by chance while strolling through Montefalco. A very quaint and well-kept restaurant. We chose the "secondo menu" with exquisite, flavorful mixed grill cooked right in front of us on the grill, salad, and a delicious lemon dessert. We also had bruschetta with olive oil and potatoes, also cooked on the grill. What can I say? A delicious lunch, and a fair price, perhaps even a little. I'll definitely be back on my next trip to Montefalco.
