24/08/2025: My wife and I went to Montefalco for a romantic getaway. We had lunch at the inn and were speechless, so speechless that we had to go back for dinner. The quality of the food was impressive, the organization top-notch, and the staff and owner were exquisite and extremely kind. They showed us the cellars, which were beautiful and well-stocked. We tasted a 1983 Brunello di Montalcino, you can imagine. We'll definitely be back.

19/08/2025: A special place for special occasions. I went last night for dinner with my family. The off-menu tartares were delicious and seasoned with skill and personality (the chives were an original and tasty touch). The Bavarian cream with amaretto cream was exceptional. The service was perfect. The sommelier advised us with expertise, courtesy, friendliness, and honesty, and at the end of the dinner, he took us to the restaurant's wine cellar: an incredible sight. The prices are fair considering the exceptional setting. For four of us, for two dishes each (two of which were strangozzi with truffles—what truffles!), an excellent bottle of Rosso di Montefalco, three desserts, and the entrée (included in the cover charge) we spent €234. The place is beautiful both inside and out, where it truly feels like being in a theater.

31/07/2025: Eccellente indirizzo a Montefalco: cucina di tradizione molto curata, bella location, ottime carni, servizio corretto. Tartufi e sagrantino protagonisti. Assolutamente consigliabile.

28/07/2025: Once in Montefalco, we decided to dine at this beautiful, high-quality restaurant. It's hard to find because it's on a street parallel to the main street, so you'll need to use your GPS navigation system to find the sign. We tried the recommended appetizer of oven-baked zucchini flowers, delicious. We then continued with tagliatelle with white veal ragù (super creamy and flavorful) and grilled lamb (excellently cooked and delicately flavored). The menu also includes dishes for non-meat eaters, including one of the most delicious dishes, recommended by the staff: pappardelle al Sagrentino. To top it all off, a fabulous ricotta and chocolate cake, magnificent. I highly recommend it.

30/08/2025: If you're visiting Montefalco (it's definitely worth it), stop by for lunch or dinner at Re Tartù because it's truly worth it. The interior is very beautiful and welcoming, but we ate outside in a small square in front of the restaurant entrance, surrounded by greenery and with beautiful, enormous umbrellas. Besides enjoying truffle-based dishes at great prices, we were truly pampered by the manager and the rest of the staff. I highly recommend it. Unique flavors from the entrée, through the first courses, and finishing with a dream dessert. I'll definitely be back.

22/08/2025: Highly recommended! We booked a table a few days in advance. When we arrived, the friendly and very professional lady who greeted us assigned us a cool, breezy table, so we didn't have to worry about the heat. The dishes we ordered were explained and explained in detail both by the staff who took our orders and by the person who served them. We ate wonderfully, the quality of the food was excellent! We were truly satisfied with our choice!

18/08/2025: Borghese is nothing short of amazing! I tried the exact same menu, paid double, and ate badly! Poor quality products and terrible service! Totally avoid!

07/09/2025: Impossible to book. I spent three days calling nonstop (before lunch, late afternoon, morning, nothing happening). No response to my email. I don't know if it's my problem, but apparently it is. I don't know how to contact the place. I'm really sorry because it puts me off. It's a shame.

07/09/2025: Definitely the quantity; don't expect porcini mushrooms, truffles, or pecorino cheese to exceed 30g/kg. However, the traditional dishes are exceptional: tongue, tripe, head, legumes, lasagna, gnocchi, guinea fowl, pork loin, and desserts.

05/09/2025: Everything was very good, succulent and plentiful. My only complaint: it's a shame the waitress wasn't very happy with her service; perhaps she wasn't having a good day. Arriving with the glasses, she quickly went around the table and set the glasses down without even stopping. Hasty and unfriendly. Thank goodness the owner went around the tables and asked if everything was to our liking.

01/09/2025: Recommended by the B&B owner, and I must say we've always had excellent food. Typical dishes like strangozzi with truffles or gnocchi with Sagrantino are a must-try, as are the grilled meats prepared in the fireplace in the center of the room. The service was impeccable, with minimal wait times, and they're happy to accommodate even the most unlikely requests. It's an excellent place for both romantic dinners and groups. I've seen that even though it's not huge, there's plenty of room for a nice table with friends.

24/08/2025: I was very disappointed with this restaurant. The wait times were interminable: we waited over an hour for our food, even though it wasn't particularly crowded. When the food finally arrived, the portions were truly tiny, so much so that despite the rather high price, we left still hungry.

16/08/2025: A truly charming little restaurant in Montefalco. We wanted a quick lunch before leaving, and while wandering the town streets, we stumbled upon this place. After perusing the menu outside, we decided to stop in. We ordered two first courses, and to be honest, we found them very good, especially the tagliatelle with white Chianina beef ragù. The service was good, and the owner was very friendly and welcoming. The price was fair, in our opinion, for what we got. I recommend it.

They also innovate with their flavors, and the woman there is truly welcoming and professional. She recommended some truly exceptional flavor pairings. 11/09/2025: Terrible service! We went for lunch on Sunday. We opted for an appetizer of bruschetta, porchetta, and cured meats. The prices were too high for the quality of the product, but especially for the quantity. The cured meats were sliced ​​very thin. As for the first course, the pappardelle were really small. When we recommended increasing the pasta weight, we were told that to do so, they would have to reduce staffing because it wouldn't be possible within the budget... What kind of response is that??? Not recommended, both for the food and the rudeness of the owner.

08/09/2025: We booked for 15 people on Sunday for the first time, and at the end of lunch we found ourselves with a bill of 600 euros. They offered us the famous platters at 35 euros each, saying that three would be enough (we ate for 6). Then some people ordered the first course and some the second course (ridiculous portions). Eight bottles of water and two bottles of low-quality red wine. A restaurant to absolutely avoid.
