30/08/2025: If you're on the E45 near San Sepolcro, exit at Selci Lama or San Giustino, and five minutes into Pistrino you'll find this restaurant. You might be thinking, "What do you want to find in Pistrino that's worth the detour?" I'll tell you: you'll find an honest restaurant with very well-cooked dishes, excellent ingredients, helpful and fast staff, and very fair prices. The detour is highly recommended, believe me!

20/08/2025: We had dinner last night, everything was delicious and plentiful. Mauro brought complimentary appetizers, focaccia and bruschetta, all delicious. For the first course, excellent strangozzi with porcini mushrooms, and for the second course, lamb with excellent baked potatoes. All washed down with a lovely bottle of Sagrantino. The bill was very fair, excellent value for money.

22/08/2025: We stumbled upon this pizzeria run by a couple on the second night of our vacation. Although they don't speak English, we easily overcame the language barrier with kindness and showmanship - and their pizza is everything. You can't sit inside in the rain, but if the weather is nice, it's worth stopping for a pizza here.

29/06/2025: Beautiful relais, in the center of town but sheltered from everything. Spacious, clean and quiet rooms. Clean and large bathroom, very beautiful outdoor pool, with well-kept garden. Breakfast offers both sweet and savory and all extra requests are satisfied and prepared on the spot. The location allows you to easily visit the nearest villages such as Assisi and Spello. I recommend it

The cuisine is a tribute to Umbrian tradition: authentic dishes, prepared with fresh, quality ingredients, and authentic flavors that express the region in every bite. But what made our dinner unforgettable was Anna's hospitality, who, with great kindness and sensitivity, took the time to find paper and colors for the son of a couple of friends who were staying with us to draw. A simple gesture, yet full of thoughtfulness and humanity, demonstrating the passion and care this osteria dedicates to each guest, young and old. It's rare to find a place where you truly feel at home, welcomed as a friend and not just a customer. At Osteria Valle, this truly happens. I highly recommend stopping here: for the delicious food, the warm and friendly atmosphere, and above all, the extraordinary hospitality that makes all the difference. We can't wait to return!

03/07/2025: Everything was excellent, from the appetizer (burrata and truffle crouton). The cockerel alla diavola was truly remarkable (very tender with a delicious sauce). To finish, the tiramisu was delicious. Full marks!

30/07/2025: Once upon a time we ate very well, the pizza was easy to digest, even because it became half the size, and then the UNFORTUNATE joke of the owner, we looked for a seat inside because I was cold (16 degrees outside) and she told me that if I wanted, there was room inside the oven...........

L’ambiente è accogliente e il servizio è stato impeccabile: i camerieri si sono dimostrati cordiali, disponibili e anche molto simpatici, contribuendo a rendere l’esperienza ancora più piacevole. La pizza è stata una vera sorpresa: molto buona, con un impasto leggero e una farcitura delicata ma saporita, ben equilibrata nei gusti (ho preso la pizza Praga, giusto per essere precisi). Sicuramente tornerò volentieri. Consigliatissimo!
