09/11/2025: A large hall resembling a beer tent with an Alpine flair. The staff is efficient, the food is good for the crowd, and the prices are reasonable.

27/10/2025: Every visit to the funny crocodile is an experience! The atmosphere alone is special. Peter's service is personal and makes you feel right at home. The menu is small but delicious, and Stefan cooks the best lasagna ever (but he's not the only one ☺️). A must-visit on any holiday in Kaltern!

15/10/2025: During our vacation in South Tyrol, we found this small restaurant on Goldgasse in Kaltern. We were very pleasantly surprised by the food: tortellini filled with porcini mushrooms and truffle foam, and very well-filled herb pasta. We sat across from the restaurant in a small garden with only five tables. It was incredibly cozy and elegantly set, and the weather was perfect on October 15th. A dream, with very friendly service. Thank you, it was a very nice lunch.

14/10/2025: As a restaurateur, I can say it's excellent value for money. Beautiful location, attentive service, homemade bread, and a kitchen staff who knows where to go. It's on the road, but perhaps a little inconvenient to see. Highly recommended! Well done! This effort deserves to be rewarded!

05/11/2025: We've been a couple of times; the outside is very nice and quiet, with casual tables. The inside is ugly, with a cold atmosphere and dated furnishings, as well as an unpleasant, undefined smell of fried food/broth. Unfortunately, there wasn't the usual friendly waiter, but two unwelcoming and unkind women. We grabbed a quick drink and left in a hurry. It's a shame; the place deserves to be improved and staffed with the right attitude to welcome customers.

29/11/2025: I entered this pastry shop and café with my dog, convinced that in 2025, the age when cars drive themselves and even the refrigerator knows better than me when to eat, allowing a well-behaved pet was no longer taboo. A total illusion. As soon as I crossed the threshold, I was told in a questionable tone that "dogs are not allowed." In a world where technology races forward at supersonic speed, it's astonishing that anyone still clings to prehistoric rules. My "monstrous" furry companion and I turned around and went somewhere more modern, or at least closer to the Renaissance.

11/11/2025: A very cozy ice cream parlor located in Kaltern with many delicious treats to enjoy. There's also a pastry shop next door.

24/09/2025: The Schlosshotel Aehrental is an extraordinary, wonderful place: in the heart of Kaltern, yet a little removed from the hustle and bustle. We appreciate the hospitality, the delicious food, the wonderful residence with its well-kept garden... A gem, and very special indeed.

25/06/2025: We always enjoy staying at the castle hotel. The old building is very beautiful, the magnificent gardens are lovingly maintained and invite you to linger. The delicious food is simply delicious, and the owner and the entire staff are very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The hotel has private access to the lake, which is about 3 kilometers away.

What struck me most was the seamless way the cafe managed to cater to patrons with special needs, making everyone feel valued and attended to. The staff's attentiveness, kindness, and dedication to providing excellent service were evident throughout my visit. The food looked delicious, and the ambiance was clean and inviting. I'm particularly impressed by the cafe's commitment to accessibility and inclusivity, which is truly commendable. We went there for drinks- aperitivo. Kudos to the team, especially the coordinator, who was clearly passionate about delivering outstanding service. I wish the cafe continued success and growth. Well done! 15/08/2025: We were dissatisfied for many reasons. First, the lady who served us wasn't particularly friendly. We felt like we weren't welcome, even though we entered the bakery an hour before closing time and practically everything had been stocked. Then we were offered rolls that were damaged and so hard the next day that they were inedible. I don't know what was being offered or what went wrong with them. An experienced salesperson could have pointed out to us that the goods were no longer fresh. Fortunately, there's still competition. We won't be back.
