18/10/2023: Today I would like to recommend the Kaldarum wine shop in Kaltern. This small but fine wine shop offers wine, spirits and delicatessen, not only from South Tyrol, but from all over Europe, with the focus of course on Italy. There is also an adjacent small wine bar. Particularly noteworthy is the excellent customer service. My experience: I just wanted to buy a bottle of sparkling wine from South Tyrol for my wife's birthday. Nevertheless, I was immediately presented with three different types of sparkling wine, opened and offered for tasting. For someone who only wants to buy a bottle, I found this to be a remarkably courteous way to treat customers. After I put the bottle in the car, we turned around and enjoyed two more glasses at the wine bar. Thank you very much for this wonderful treatment! It certainly won't be our last visit. See you again in October 2024.

07/04/2024: Very large complex, suitable for many guests (approx. 70% inside and 30% outside) We visited as a family on Friday. There are plenty of play options for the children (swing, trampoline, slides). Food was good, rustic cuisine and pizza. (Ribs were quite good, but nothing special) What bothered me about feeling good was the smell of food from the kitchen and the furnishings, despite the beer garden atmosphere, it could be designed a little more lovingly (flowers, decorations) Still worth a visit.

01/04/2024: We were only there to eat. The ambience as often in Kaltern: behind thick walls, a bit rustic but nice. The food is really good quality but you also pay for it! The main courses (gold bream and Tyrolean roast) were really great. Unfortunately, the dessert was a bit disappointing: the apple strudel came from the refrigerator in the microwave to our table. Likewise the blueberry tarts which turned out to be blueberry cake. The service was absolutely praiseworthy! From the boss to the youngest member of the team

27/11/2023: Very friendly and attentive staff in a family business. Dogs are very welcome. Right on the market square in beautiful Kaltern. The breakfast was very tasty and varied. Small buffet plus coffee, sausage, cheese, jam... Delivered as requested. Mostly homemade. Rooms always clean and made every day. There is an elevator from the parking lot to the rooms. That would be really nice, thank you for the great time.

01/04/2024: First the good and best thing about the Rottenburger Keller: the service! The waitresses and the pizza maker were really nice and full of service! The bad thing: I wasn't aware that a 13.50 EUR pizza would have canned mushrooms. The Wienerschnitzel was fried in fat where fish had probably already been swimming. Because the schnitzel was fishing. The spaghetti was also more cooked than al dente. The ambience is so-so: Nice vault but you always sit very close together at the passage. Privacy is not possible at all. Conclusion Unfortunately, demands and performance are not in harmony in this restaurant.

25/11/2023: Excellent cuisine, but the portions are gourmet, very small. Personally, I had a starter, two first courses, two second courses and a dessert and I returned home still hungry as well as the crazy prices.

02/12/2023: Tolle Aussicht besonders zur Sommerzeit, mache hier immer einen kleinen stop auf einen espresso oder ein Eis und radele dann weiter. Ich verstehe die Leute nicht ,die sich über die Preise beklagen oder bestellen diese ohne in die Speicherkarte zu schauen?

05/04/2024: Had lunch with relatives on Easter day, typical Tyrolean restaurant with very characteristic wooden furnishings. Good food and really generous portions. Spatzle, shank with potatoes and excellent strudel. Friendly staff and quick service. I recommend it if you are in the area.

05/04/2024: Traditional cuisine, generous portions and excellent prices for lunch, plus a large parking lot that can be full at lunchtime. The food is average, the restaurant is already showing its age, but there is a large, shaded terrace.
