28/07/2024: The hotel impresses with its attractive architecture and rich history and is ideally located in the center of Kaltern, where guests even have parking spaces in the courtyard. The restaurant spoils you with delicious dishes, but the portions could perhaps be a little more generous. A rich and individual breakfast is offered to hotel guests (no buffet). The staff is courteous and friendly, especially the senior manager.
Overall, this is an excellent place in a prime location.

30/08/2024: Everyone was super friendly and accommodating. Chief waiter Matthias was his name and I think he has everything under control. Food is great...... LG Zündapp driver with appendix

29/08/2024: Trampolines for children might be nice, but the noise level was on par with jet fighters taking off. Toilets old, food not great, drinks sometimes overpriced. Nice service. Conclusion, once and never again.

08/08/2024: If you would like to drink a very good wine at a later hour, the Weinschmiede is the right place for you (also at other times of the day, of course). Friendly staff, nice ambience and a great (wine) list. If you're not into wine, Mendelbier is very drinkable.

August 9th, 2023 1:00 p.m., service was quite slow... but it doesn't matter, I'll be happy to come back.
...06 and 07.08.2024 everything was fine, we'll be back.

23/08/2024: The opening times should also be updated on the signposts in the Rastenbergklamm, or the signs should be removed. We stood in front of closed doors at lunchtime today, a paper sign read, open today from 5:30 p.m.
22/07/2024: Posto semplice ma davvero eccellente, con prezzi assolutamente piu che corretti. Un menu' con tutte le ricette della tradizione, cucinate molto bene. Ottimo anche il vino sfuso. Massima gentilezza e pulizia. Decisamente da provare.

26/08/2024: We visited for the terrace,, and enjoyed a nice cool beer. The waterside is lovely and there are plenty of activities available, from paddleboat to stand up paddling.

Die Strandbar einfach eine Frechheit...
Als Gast dieser Bar kostet der Besuch des WCs 50 Cent.
Personal sehr unfreundlich, gemischter Salat mit Melone... So alt, dass die Melone schon schimmelte ganz abgesehen vom Inhalt für den Preis...
Dazu dann noch Plastikbesteck. Die Einheimischen bekommen normales Besteck und eine fast doppelt so große Portion Pommes.
Aud jeden Fall unser letzter Besuch.

27/08/2024: The ambience is nice. We were ignored by one waiter. After a while he came calling. We ordered a quarter liter of white wine twice and received half a liter of the expensive wine without knowing it. We weren't asked. Be careful, you will be ripped off there. It's not nice.

19/07/2024: Sehr leckere regionale Küche. Schöne Terrasse mit Schattenplätzen. Personal sehr freundlich, nur manchmal etwas unaufmerksam. War aber vielleicht auch tagesformabhängig. Unbedingt reservieren!
27/06/2024: Familienbetrieb mit tollem Ambielte und leckeren regionalen Gerichten - von Andreas zubereitet. Chef Hermann präsentiert die Weine liebevoll und kümmert sich mit seinen Team sehr engagiert um den Service. Waren 2x dort und ist wirklich empfehlenswert.

26/07/2024: After a morning of cycling, we stopped for a drink and we were mindful of having lunch and just going for a swim while we cooled off. But it's not allowed, only for hotel people! The beach is empty
24/07/2024: The four of us had dinner at the Klughammer inn today. The dishes we ate were excellent!
Prepared and garnished with love.
The staff was very friendly. We felt very comfortable.
