18/10/2023: Today I would like to recommend the Kaldarum wine shop in Kaltern. This small but fine wine shop offers wine, spirits and delicatessen, not only from South Tyrol, but from all over Europe, with the focus of course on Italy. There is also an adjacent small wine bar.
Particularly noteworthy is the excellent customer service. My experience: I just wanted to buy a bottle of sparkling wine from South Tyrol for my wife's birthday. Nevertheless, I was immediately presented with three different types of sparkling wine, opened and offered for tasting. For someone who only wants to buy a bottle, I found this to be a remarkably courteous way to treat customers.
After I put the bottle in the car, we turned around and enjoyed two more glasses at the wine bar. Thank you very much for this wonderful treatment! It certainly won't be our last visit.
See you again in October 2024.

02/04/2024: A small wine shop that has it all. Good selection, great service and friendly fellow guests are absolutely impressive!
Prices are also ok for Kaltern.
A good place to have a nightcap.

Restaurant Castel Ringberg

12/10/2023: Was für ein toller Ort , hoch über dem Kalterersee ,mitten in den Weinbergen
von Castel Ringberg bei schönstem Wetter. Wir waren zur Weinbergführung und erfuhren neben bei noch viel über die Geschichte von Elena Walch.
Anschliessend hatten wir noch eine Weinprobe und danach noch eine nachprobe in der Weinstube.
20/07/2023: Der Ausblick ist wirklich toll. Der Wein sehr gut. Die Käseplatte war ebenfalls gut auch wenn kein absolutes Highlight.

02/11/2023: Siamo nel centro di Caldaro, il ristorante è all'interno di un palazzo antico. Ambiente caratteristico e tipico, curato e accogliente. La cucina offre una vasta scelta di piatti freddi con la possibilità di servire dei taglieri superlativi!
Ingredienti freschi e gustosi!
Ottima la scelta fra le bottiglie di vino!
