04/02/2025: Desafortunadamente, elegimos Vögele en base a sus comentarios, y nuestra experiencia nos dejó bastante decepcionados. Al llegar, nos hicieron esperar durante unos 15 minutos en un callejón estrecho donde la gente estaba constantemente caminando y topándose con nosotros. Finalmente, nos entregaron un pedazo de papel que nos decía que fuéramos al primer piso, donde nos recibió un camarero poco profesional y descortés. Nos llevó a una pequeña habitación llena de tantas mesas como fuera posible. Decidimos probar el goulash, que estaba bien, pero la experiencia general estaba lejos de lo que esperábamos. Un restaurante debe ofrecer algo más que comida, debe ofrecer un buen servicio, lo que no es el caso aquí. Los camareros parecían una carga para ellos; no nos preguntaron si queríamos algo más y dieron la impresión de que teníamos suerte de que nos estuvieran sirviendo. Tuvimos que pedir pan, y como nadie volvía a vernos, ni siquiera podíamos pedir vino, así que nos pegamos al agua. Para empeorar las cosas, el camarero hablaba muy mal alemán y al final, nos preguntó: “¿Wie wars?” de una manera que se sentía lejos de ser profesional. Aunque la comida era decente, el trato que recibimos hizo que fuera difícil disfrutar de la comida. De hecho, todo el ambiente parecía más un local de comida rápida que un restaurante. Para colmo, limpiaron la mesa de al lado mientras todavía estábamos comiendo y trajeron un gran saco para meterlo todo — ¡qué desastre! Dado que Bozen tiene tantos restaurantes maravillosos con personal acogedor, no puedo ver por qué volvería a un lugar donde el servicio es tan deficiente.

The cuisine is a mix of Italian tradition and Asian influences, particularly Thai, with proposals ranging from Apulian focaccia with stracciatella to tuna fillet with wasabi. The quality of the ingredients can be felt in every dish, and the attention to presentation is always impeccable. The staff is courteous and professional, and helps make the overall experience pleasant. However, as much as I appreciate the level of cuisine, I prefer places that manage to blend influences into a more fusion identity, rather than presenting two separate gastronomic lines. However, Zenzero remains a good choice for those who want to try original and well-prepared dishes, in an environment that can make you feel at ease. Ideal for those who have no clear preferences between the two cuisine options and are looking for variety and quality.

26/02/2025: I had the Tris di Canaderli, I was told it was a local specialty. It was a tasteless, overcooked or rather insufficiently heated semi-finished product because it was completely cold in the middle. The service was nice, but it did not compensate for the disappointment of the food. Next time I prefer fast food next door.

03/02/2025: Lido di Bolzano is a great place to relax and enjoy a summer day in the city. The property offers large and well-kept swimming pools, with a large pool for expert swimmers and spaces also suitable for children. The environment is clean and well organised, with a large lawn for sunbathing. The bar offers snacks and drinks, but the prices are a bit high. On hot days it can be crowded, but it remains an excellent choice for those looking for a bit of fresh air and entertainment without going too far.

06/04/2025: We are talking about a chain that I would never usually frequent, I go there once in a while when I can't find options in a city. It wouldn't even make sense to write a review in which I talk about the products or the quality of an Old Wild West restaurant but I would pay a compliment on this one in Bolzano in particular. Twice out of the three times I've been there I've found quite satisfactory products, but you have to be lucky that it goes like this. In fact, as has always happened in the 7/8 times I've been there in my entire life, one Saturday in Bolzano I decide to eat here and I get fake dishes, chewy nachos and hard sandwiches. But only here in Bolzano did I happen to go there a couple of times and be happy with it, so here comes this review of mine in which I give them this credit.
