13/09/2025: Excellent restaurant, fresh and well-prepared food! Highly recommended!

01/09/2025: When I want Asian food but don't feel like going out, this restaurant is always my first choice. It offers a variety of Chinese, Japanese, and Thai dishes (the curry triangles and Thai soup are out of this world!!). Delivery is usually pretty quick, and the price is fair. In my opinion, the place is a bit dated, which doesn't make it very welcoming, but it's still suitable for casual dining. In the summer, you can also eat outside, but close to the street.

21/01/2026: This iconic Chinese restaurant has been in Bolzano for several years. The staff are discreet and friendly, and the interior is tastefully decorated, with the added bonus of enjoying the cuisine in a discreet outdoor garden from May to October. Located in the center of Bolzano, this restaurant is a great place to combine sightseeing with lunch or dinner. The menu is varied, and the restaurant's defining characteristic is the high quality of the dishes served, crafted to satisfy even the most discerning palate. In my opinion, it's one of the best restaurants in South Tyrol for both value and quality. I've been frequenting the restaurant for years, always satisfied with the quality of the dishes. For lovers of exotic restaurants, this is a must-visit.

10/10/2025: went there today (thursday) 1 pm & it was CLOSED. although it says its open! i had to walk for 15 minutes for nothing

31/08/2025: We relied on reviews, as our hotel restaurant was closed. This was absolutely NOT recommended. We don't understand why this restaurant has an average of 4.4 stars. The food was like eating a packet of Knorr international dishes. Someone with no cooking experience could have made the same. As icing on the cake, we had the "most expensive" dessert for €6.50 with canned fruit and a scoop of ice cream, and a bowl of custard for €6. The staff spoke English and did a good job.

20/12/2025: Cafè Stofner is a simple and pleasant spot with a calm atmosphere. The coffee is good, the pastries are fresh, and the service is polite. It’s a nice place for a quick break or a light snack, offering good quality for a reasonable price.

13/11/2025: COLD MARGHERITA PIZZA!!! I ordered a margherita pizza thinking it was the usual good frozen pizza they sell in supermarkets. But not even that, the pizza came out practically cold. I don't recommend it for people with sensitive stomachs.

16/09/2025: The service is very prompt but lacks a friendly atmosphere. It's as if speed is the main goal. At lunchtime, it's very noisy and slightly chaotic, not least because there's a line at the cash register in the middle of the dining room. It's a shame, because the dishes are delicious and offer a great price-quality ratio.

08/09/2025: The outdoor pool is affordable at 5-7 euros, but it's also the best place to enjoy the view of Bolzano. Sunbeds are 4 euros each, and they require a 1 euro deposit. There are no Asians here, and it's mostly used by locals, not tourists. This is another reason why I want to visit Bolzano again. Peaceful, delicious.

09/11/2025: I had to wait forever for a doner kebab. The doner kebab was prepared in a side room, which is extremely small, and they wanted more money from me than was listed on the menu.

22/02/2026: I'm giving one star because zero isn't possible. I went today with a friend for a relaxing aperitif, but the outdoor area was like a kindergarten!!! Rude children screaming and jumping around (about 10 kids) without any adult supervision. I go in and ask the waitress where the parents are, and she says, "Here." She points to a table inside where they were gorging themselves on desserts and appetizers, ignoring their kids. I ask the girl, the smart one in the family, to get the parents back, and she replies, "I can't do anything," to which I say, "Well, I'll go somewhere else," and she says, "OK." Change the rules, and especially the staff!"

04/02/2026: Bar Pasticceria Pennini is a serious business. The croissants are heavy with filling: once filled, they weigh nearly half a kilo, and that's not poetic hyperbole. They're as filling as lunch and capable of giving you a glycemic spike worthy of Pizzo Bez. Delicious, over-the-top, and shameless. If you love a hearty, uncompromising breakfast, this is your place.
