05/03/2025: Dopo una escursione, con mia moglie, al lago di Pian Palù è stato d'obbligo un pranzo rigenerante tra la frescura di questa valle. Accompagnata dalle bontà delle proposte della cucina di questa malga che dispone di tavoli fuori con vista da sogno. Servizio e cordialità impeccabile come da luoghi di montagna. Carne di cervo top. Interessante chiacchierata con la proprietà che si è unita con noi al tavolo a fine servizio.

30/12/2024: Posto immerso nella natura, tra panorami fiabeschi di boschi innevati. Malga accogliente per la gentilezza della famiglia che lo gestisce e per il calore del posto, tutto rustico e arredato con cura per donare il sapore caldo della montagna d' inverno. La stufa accesa, tutto di legno, decorato natalizio, personale sorridente e gentile. Il menù è sul foglio al tavolo, tutti piatti tipici trentini, tortei di patate, salumi e formaggi di malaga, canederli, gnocchi di spinaci, tagliatelle ai funghi locali, carni e dolci. Tutto molto buono, saporito e gustoso, prezzi nella norma. Segnalo il gesto di grande cortesia dei ragazzi che sia per salire che per scendere dalla strada ghiacciata sono venuti giù cn la loro auto per portare mia mamma col bastone. Ottimo servizio, ottimo cibo tutto locale e tipico, ottima atmosfera. Complimenti a tutta la Malga Frattasecca!

10/07/2025: A truly pleasant experience! The restaurant is very charming, with a welcoming atmosphere and a touch of old-fashioned charm that makes it unique. The food was excellent, beautifully presented, and rich in flavor. Special thanks to the two fantastic waiters, Mehdi and Giorgio: kind, very attentive, and always available to recommend the best dishes. Their attitude made me feel at ease. I absolutely recommend this place—both for the food and the impeccable service!

13/05/2025: We had lunch at the Bergasthof Oberhochmut again. A fantastic view, a wonderful family business, and a very friendly, natural hostess who knows her craft perfectly. (That's what a trained chef says.) No frills, generous portions, fresh food, and exquisite flavors; my grandmother couldn't have cooked it better. We had the lamb's liver and the roast lamb, simply divine. With that, a freshly tapped beer—that's heaven on earth in South Tyrol! We'll definitely be back! We'll never understand why the mainstream prefers the Gasthof Hochmuth en masse. But that's fine with us; we always get a dream spot.

04/07/2025: I stayed at this property for one night, unfortunately we were given a very, very dated room, with a terrible smell, a decent bathroom. No air conditioning, so having to keep the windows open we couldn't sleep as it was facing the street. Nothing to do with the photos on the site. The wait for a pizza for dinner was long. Positive note: friendly staff

13/07/2025: La Montanara è una piccola ed accogliente "trattorietta" situata in pieno centro storico a Riva del Garda. La simpatica e disponibile gestione offre piatti tipici del Trentino a prezzi veramente accessibili, vini locali anche sfusi e dolci dall'aspetto molto invitante! Gustosissimo e consigliato l'antipasto misto a base di affettati locali profumati e saporiti, accompagnati da un misto di verdure in agrodolce. Possibilità di mangiare anche all'aperto, all'ombra della graziosa via pedonale dov'è situato.

23/06/2025: €194 for one hour – absolutely unreasonable We spontaneously visited the Hotel Post Gries/Bolzano at the beginning of May and booked a room directly at the reception – €194 in cash, including breakfast. Unfortunately, the room was unbearably hot, and the air conditioning didn't work. When we inquired, we were simply told that it "wasn't working yet" – at the beginning of May, mind you. Changing rooms was dismissed as pointless, as it was the same everywhere. Opening the window facing the busy street was not an option due to the noise. After a shower and less than an hour's stay, we left the hotel again – it was simply unreasonable. Despite the extremely short stay and the unused services, there was no concession whatsoever. The receptionist did call the manager, but she deliberately decided against any refund – not even for the unused breakfast. This decision, in particular, clearly demonstrates how little the satisfaction of her guests means to her. The bottom line is that we paid €194 for an hour in an overheated room where rest was impossible. This is completely excessive and customer-unfriendly. The only saving grace: the electric car charging (9kWh, approx. €4.50) was not charged – small consolation given the overall experience. For us, it's clear: We won't be back and can't recommend the hotel under any circumstances.

12/06/2025: After a hike, we stopped off the beaten track for coffee and apple strudel, and we didn't regret it. Great service, delicious apple strudel with vanilla ice cream and/or whipped cream, and a beautiful view. What more could you want after a hike?

26/05/2025: A very nice family-run hotel with friendly owners, a wonderful wellness area with an outdoor pool and stunning views of the mountains. Comfortable rooms. Excellent cuisine and friendly, attentive service. And the South Tyrol Guest Card is included, allowing you to explore South Tyrol in a relaxed manner by bus and train—absolutely fantastic.

04/06/2025: A truly worthwhile excursion! Starting with the Hochmuth lift, you'll enjoy spectacular views of Merano and the Etschtal Valley along the way. From the mountain station, a beautiful, approximately 25-minute hiking trail leads to the Talbauer – easy and well-signposted. Once you arrive at the Talbauer, you'll be greeted with warm hospitality and fantastic South Tyrolean cuisine. The dumplings are a particular highlight – fresh, homemade, and simply delicious. The service was also attentive, quick, and extremely friendly. After refreshments, you'll leisurely continue the approximately 3 km return journey to the valley station, accompanied by stunning panoramas. Conclusion: A perfect half-day excursion with guaranteed enjoyment – ​​nature, good food, and great people. Highly recommended!
