The butter dumplings were perfect, delicious, as was the free-range chicken with potatoes, truly excellent. 15/06/2025: We stayed nearby and ended up dining here two nights in a row. The atmosphere is lovely and the service was excellent — the older gentleman who served us was especially warm and attentive. The prices are very reasonable, and I had pizza both nights — absolutely delicious! Honestly, it’s in my top 2 pizzas after living in Italy for two years. We also tried the Wiener schnitzel — freshly made, not very traditional in style, but still tasty and clearly made with care. Highly recommended if you’re in Dobbiaco!

05/05/2025: Few frills, genuine cuisine, excellent quality products. Courtesy, attention and competence. Wide choice of wines. Clean environment, well spaced tables. It is worth coming to this place, now very dated and lost among the "marshes" of the Po to savor the true flavors of the local sea. Price appropriate for the food but not for the venue.

15/07/2025: Fantastic experience at this osteria, which I found somewhat by chance. The dishes are sophisticated and very good. We didn't try the pizzas, but they looked very interesting. The stria and the pasta dishes were good. The portions are generous. The desserts are very tasty, the best tiramisu I've ever had anywhere.

14/07/2025: The place is cute and the atmosphere welcoming. The food is decent, although it would be helpful to have a menu with ingredients described in Italian as well—we ordered goulash without knowing it was very spicy, and unfortunately, it wasn't listed. We were a bit disappointed by the service. We had the impression that the attention was mostly paid to regulars or locals. As newcomers, we felt left out: we waited about 20 minutes before we could order a coffee, while the staff was almost exclusively dedicated to another nearby table. Furthermore, everyone else at the table was asked if they'd like a digestif, except us. Overall, a place with potential, but the welcome could be improved, especially towards tourists.

19/04/2025: Siamo stati a pranzo in questo maso di montagna a conduzione familiare dopo aver letto le ottime recensioni ed è stata un’esperienza meravigliosa. Cibo ottimo, personale delizioso e vista mozzafiato su San Candido. Gulasch con polenta in assoluto il più buono mai mangiato da quando frequento questi posti. Prezzo onestissimo, serve prenotare perché ci sono pochi coperti e non è aperto tutti i giorni della settimana. La strada per arrivare è stretta e con molte curve, ma ne vale la pena credetemi.

19/06/2025: Two sensational meals! Potato turnovers with ricotta and herb filling, nettle dumplings, bresauola with arugula and Parmesan, semifredo...superb 🍷 wine, very friendly service, and a shot of schnapps on the house!

25/05/2025: We enjoyed delicious South Tyrolean cuisine here! The portions are generous and the prices are fair. The atmosphere is rustic, and many locals come here. We had the Schlutzkrapfen pasta, the four kinds of dumplings, and the veal ragout with dumplings. All highly recommended. The highlights, however, were the homemade apple strudel and the homemade amaretto semifreddo. Incredibly delicious!

09/04/2025: We went for dinner here as a group of 8 people for all you can eat. The sushi was absolutely amazing, it was all freshly prepared right there so you will have to expect it to take some time before it’s served but it’s definitely worth the wait! The owner was also kind and very passionate about his job. We will definitely come back here next year.
