We simply enjoy everything there: the hospitality, the regional products, and the view from the stunning terrace and the rooms (panorama rooms). Since we come here to ride our motorcycles, the location is simply perfect for great tours. We love coming back again and again.

25/08/2025: Hotel: very central, free indoor parking, and spacious rooms. Staff: everyone is friendly and helpful, both the owners and the staff, but what struck us most was Claudia's helpfulness, kindness, precision, and smile!! Congratulations! The owners, Stefano and Romana, are truly welcoming and always ready to accommodate all their guests' needs. The chef is one of a kind! The food is excellent, imaginative, and delicate. The dishes are always served with kindness and attention by Claudia (the best), Lolita, Larisa, Bledi, and Lucia. If I were to return to Selva, I would have no doubts about my choice: Hotel Armin!

25/07/2025: I stayed here for three nights on half-board. Breakfast was plentiful. Dinner was always tasty and appetizing. The staff was helpful and courteous. It was a pleasure to feel welcomed into the family. The property is just steps from Piazza Nives. Pets are also welcome.

08/08/2025: We had Pizza Albert and Bomba. They tasted great, especially the Bomba (I can recommend if you like a bit of a spicy challenge)because the Salami was really yummy. It was a bit pricey and the service was okay

05/08/2025: This is the perfect place to enjoy authentic Italian pizza. First off, the pizza is incredibly delicious. It seemed like they used high-quality flour, aged thoroughly, and the toppings, sauce, vegetables, and especially the cheese were incredibly fresh and delicious. The staff were very friendly, responsive, and attentive. It's located relatively out of the way, but the atmosphere was mostly populated by locals.

17/08/2025: A culinary highlight in a dream location! The Thurnstein Restaurant in Merano completely captivated us! Just arriving on the beautiful castle grounds with a view over Merano is an experience in itself – a place full of charm and tranquility. The food was excellent: regional specialties with a refined touch, perfectly prepared and lovingly presented. The fresh ingredients and seasonal selection are particularly noteworthy – the cooking here is done with true passion! The service was also first-class: attentive, warm, and professional, without being intrusive. You feel welcome and well looked after from the very first moment. Conclusion: Absolutely recommended – we will definitely be back!

05/03/2025: Wir haben auch hier den inkludierten Ausflug unternehmen dürfen,der Anlass Snacks wurde gewählt da es sich um eine Merande handelte,vom Busplatz zu Fuss auf dem Ganglerhof angekommen wurden wir vom Besitzer herzlich in Empfang genommen.Dann ging es in eine Stube und da wurde dann die Merande gereicht,die Bestellung der Getränke wurde durch die nette Gattin aufgenommen und angereicht. Der Gastgeber griff dann auch zum Akkordeon und spielte einige Titel auf selbigen,vile Gäste unserer Gruppe sangen dann auch mit und es war eine schöne entspannte Atmosphäre,leider war die Zeit viel zu schnell vorbei. Noch einige Fotos mit dem Wildgehege geschossen oder von der reizvollen Umgebung und dann ging es zu Fuss zurück zum Bus.

01/09/2025: We ate a super delicious pizza and were able to read the story of the "Wetten Dass" performance from 2009 and see the exhibits.

18/08/2025: We spent the night at the mountain pasture; the hosts were super friendly, the atmosphere was great, and the food was hearty and honest. It certainly won't be our last time.

15/08/2025: I’ve been all over Italy, but the award for rudest person goes to the lady at the bar/cash counter. The pizza was good, but her attitude? That’s what I’ll really remember. And it’s not just customers her colleagues got the same “special treatment” too.

29/07/2025: A rude boss and the truly worst apple strudel in the world. The strudel uses tasteless apples, which aren't hand-cut but rather put through a machine/mincer. A very strange consistency... Absolutely not recommended!

18/07/2025: Fantastic food, from breakfast to dinner, plus daily snacks and Friday aperitifs. The sauna and pool facilities are beautiful and very comfortable, with separate areas for adults and families. The gym is fantastic, fully equipped, and has a beautiful view. The hotel is spotless, quiet, and truly equipped with every comfort. The staff is incredibly friendly.

27/07/2025: We stayed one night at Alexander's, taking advantage of the opportunity to park our camper on the farm. After the special drive, which takes about 20 minutes uphill from Merano via winding roads, we were greeted at the top by Alexander in a sincere and warm manner. He explained everything to us and accompanied us for the rest of the evening through his incredibly delicious and authentic three-course meal. The hut is lovingly furnished and lacks nothing. Dear Alexander, you are a very special person who gives guests memories that last a lifetime. Thank you so much!
