27/12/2024: Small and cozy restaurant with excellent local food. We enjoyed the soup as well as the two beef main plates we ordered. As a bonus the prices of the dishes were fair. A meal of soup and two main meals and a beer at 55 euro.

21/11/2024: A unique experience among the many traditional Italian restaurants, all with good food. They have the best [not traditional Tuscan] bread and they serve it with the best balsamic vinegar we've had in any restaurant ANYWHERE. We've never had a dish we didn't like. Visit with no risk of disappointment. Update one year later: we still come often, but I admit that we often order our same favorite items. Last night changed our future behavior. We were in a mood for something different. We still ordered our standard pasta dish: Pici with Tuscan beef ragu, but then we branched out into the unknown. We started with a baked eggplant with tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese. It was life changing. This 5 euro appetizer was the best vegetable dish either of us have ever tasted. I Will try my best to recreate it, and our host was open about some of the critical secrets. We followed with slow roasted pork neck in a wonderful sauce with mashed potatoes and fennel. Every bit as good as the eggplant, but not so unique.

02/02/2025: Fantastic place! Immersed in the Tuscan countryside we were delighted not only by the beauty of the place itself but by Martino's kindness and the goodness of the dishes. The panigacci are good, freshly prepared in special terrines, the cured meats are delicious, the ribollita is stratospheric, the cicatielli with Cinta Senese sausage, onion and pistachio cream are excellent and on the meat, well, what can I say, I flew 🚀 Perfect cooking and maturing! 31/01/2025: Yummy! Chosen by chance during a trip looking at nearby restaurants on maps. The stew sauce was really delicious as was the nail and the stew. Good desserts too. The price is more than fair for the quantity and quality of the dishes. I really highly recommend it

10/11/2024: I expected everything except to discover such prestigious wines in Sarteano. The wine list is magnificent and the large table at the back of the establishment gives the impression of being at home. We eat simple, well-mastered dishes in a pleasant environment. At the end of the evening, Béatrice and Stéphano, the owners, took a moment to share with us their wine favorites. Thank you to them for this great time and for their very friendly welcome.

25/09/2024: This is my absolute favorite place to go in Sarteano! I am always greeted with warm smiles, amazing wine and great food!

10/02/2025: If you don't have a compact car, don't go to the accommodation!!!!!! Park in the parking lot and take your bags with you! They scratch all the rental cars!!!!! I hope the warmly welcoming owner stays there for a long time.
