01/04/2024: Very nice restaurant, we stopped for something to eat and were pleasantly surprised, the environment is traditional and is capable of immersing you in what is Pienza. I don't give 5 stars just because of the slightly touristy price, but the food is worth it.

30/03/2024: Simple but well kept place. Very intimate and clean. We ate a very good and varied starter platter. Malfatti and grilled lamb. All accompanied with a bottle of classic chianti. The staff was very courteous, efficient and pleasant. Everything is cooked freshly so don't rush to enjoy your evening.

03/01/2024: Gemütliches Ambiente. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Grosse Auswahl an Bistecca Fiorentia. Preis/Leistung stimmt voll und ganz. Auch sonst ein gutes Angebot. Die Bedienung war sehr effizient und nett. Die Weinkarte kann sich auch sehen lassen. Super toskanische Weie aus der Umgebung.

27/04/2024: Let me start by saying, I am a former university student in Siena (graduated almost 20 years ago now) and in love with the tavern in San Gusme - Sira and Remino, an obligatory stop every time I return to or pass through Siena. Today, after a long time, I returned for dinner. To my regret, the old tavern that I remembered no longer exists, although in front of the old entrance there is a new tavern which has taken its name but which has absolutely nothing to do with what it used to be. I gave 2 stars because I don't feel like completely rejecting the new place which will probably expand soon, also in terms of cuisine. To date, however, the food absolutely needs to be reviewed. No Fiorentina which, at least for the moment, is not available on the menu. I didn't get the crostoni (I didn't come for the ones I can eat anywhere) but pici with wild boar ragout which were salty as was the ribollita - it can happen on a bad evening. What cannot and must NOT happen is that the two requested cuts are served at the table with 4 thin pieces of meat on 2 plates... subsequent apologies with an accompanying adjustment to the bill are fine but it would have been more honest to say that they were not available ... we would have evaluated whether to change command or restaurant. That said, to date I don't recommend it, especially if you are looking for the old tavern... maybe in the future it will be different, but the road is long... for the moment if it is not rejected and at least postponed....

Excellent tasting, with first-rate raw materials expertly paired. All the dishes had their own peculiarity and made the tasting journey an experience that would be difficult to forget. 19/10/2023: Lovely restaurant in a rural setting that serves local specialties. We had the choice between various antipasti dishes, meat, fish and pasta. The interior of the restaurant looked authentic and was tastefully decorated. The meal was good value for money, considering they serve pasta with truffles. I personally cannot praise the tagliatelle al salmone with their lemon-y note enough, it was so tasty. The staff were very polite as well.

10/10/2023: Popped in for lunch on way back from a morning out. Not busy so we’re seated and served quickly. The waiter had limited English, but better than my Italian! We had a light lunch, bruschetta, salmon tagliatelle and a seafood risotto. All perfectly fine and under E50

07/10/2023: Red tuna with vegetable caponata a delicacy, superb Sicilian cannoli! Friendly, polite and helpful staff, clean and quiet environment! Thanks to chef Agostino who recommended the dishes to us!! Super Recommended!!!

29/09/2023: We were extremely disappointed with the service which was very rude & loud. Unlike most Italians who try to be accommodating, we were told that we were not being respectful as we wanted just a light snack & not a full meal. The attempt to find a compromise was a disaster!! By this time everyone had lost their appetite, and by the time we got the bill for the drinks we’d ordered beforehand, we were totally disgusted!!
