02/01/2025: We went for lunch on the 1st of the year and enjoyed a deep and sweet background music (jazz), an appetizer of cabbage with walnuts and cheese, a generous plate of Pici, the wonderful risotto creamed in the form of cheese and some baked potatoes (cooked grandma's way, just right). Chianti wine needless to say and one piece of advice if you are passing by is to stop.

25/12/2024: Tipico locale toscano gestito da giovani bravi e cortesi. Tutti i piatti, dall'antipasto al doce, risultano di ottima fattura in termini di qualità e quantità. Infine un conto onesto con piccolo sconto. Da consigliare vivamente.

06/01/2025: Restaurant reachable in a short time from the main road. Well looked after and young and courteous staff. Few dishes but local and well executed. The only negative note upon our arrival was that the place was cold having visited it in the middle of winter.

02/02/2025: My Saturday evening food and wine tour, after a 92 kilometer journey, brought me to this tavern and it was a pleasant surprise. Rustic but elegant atmosphere, friendly and precise service, very good dishes and very beautiful dishes. And for me, who am President of an opera association, the pleasure of dining next to an ancient poster of an opera show at the Teatro della Lizza in Siena. And to say that the room would be very suitable for organizing dinners/concerts... Who knows...

01/12/2024: Abbiamo fatto un bel po’ di strada per arrivare fin qui ma ne è valsa proprio la pena. Locale immerso in un bosco, la cucina è molto buona e si nota la ricerca degli ingredienti e dei buoni prodotti. Da non sottovalutare la disponibilità e la gentilezza di tutte le ragazze che gestiscono questo locale.

02/02/2025: Local created from a very welcoming former stable in the context of Villa a Sesta village, honestly, not nice. There is better in Chianti. The "greatest hits 8 course" menu was stressful: too many different flavors one after the other, some of them very strong. The tortellini al buristo left me with an aftertaste that I didn't like. Of the second courses, I liked the aubergine cake and the salted ricotta, but not the pigeon pulp and the roe deer fillet, although they were cooked with undoubted skill. The 2 good desserts, but practically 2 spoons in total. The "al pace" IGT wine left us speechless. Cost €16.50 per bottle! In a starred restaurant you don't expect it. So I would say good, but not great. I wouldn't go back.

27/11/2024: We had a magical trip to Dievole summer of 23. Service was impeccable, rooms were large and very well appointed, grounds are beautiful and they have a very good restaurant. It was the highlight of our trip to Italy. Cannot recommend this resort enough.

31/10/2024: There is nothing I can fault about this venue. The setting is beautiful, the rooms are immaculate, the staff are all friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Monika’s food was amazing and Antonio really knows his wines. If you love your food and wine, this place is faultless. We visited Dievole as guests in 2023 and were lucky enough to return to celebrate our wedding here in 2024. Don’t second guess your stay here, you won’t regret it.

07/01/2025: Sono stato in questo locale diverse volte sia con amici che con la famiglia, una garanzia per la cucina toscana. Siamo partiti con l'assaggio di antipasti, tantissime portate una meglio dell'altra, per i nostri gusti il collo ripieno e l'uovo di quaglia sono in assoluto i migliori. Abbiamo continuato con la fiorentina. Tenerissima, cotta al sangue alla perfezione e accompagnata dalle patate, sublime. Dolci fatti da loro. Vino abbiamo preso quattro bottiglie in 8. Personale super carino, professionale e preparato. Spesa 60€ a testa.

01/12/2024: Bel locale con personale attento e gentile. Ho assaggiato crostino nero di milza, collo di pollo ripieno con salsa verde, risotto sulla beccaccia e piccione con polenta grigliata, tutto veramente molto buono. @ meritatissima

Mirko in the room is super! I don't see why not recommend it. Go there instead, and enjoy some good food. And Bon Appetit! 6 stars! anything else!

04/11/2024: Indiscutibile, location molto bella e curata nel dettaglio, cantina ben fornita e non eccessivamente costosa come quasi sempre è. Cucina ottima, nella da eccepire su primi e secondi, servizio accurato e professionale...in un weekend lungo ci sono tornato due volte a cena ed a conti fatti avrei dovuto stare sempre lì ed ignorare altre più celebrate location

02/11/2024: Ci siamo lasciati convincere dalle recensioni qui su Tripadvisor ma, ahimè, a volte si prendono dei grandi abbagli. Mezz’ora per avere il primo piatto (antipasto di salumi), che per 22€ sinceramente mi aspettavo molto di più (non in quantità ma in qualità). Calice di vino bianco che il Tavernello è meglio, bottiglia d’acqua di plastica, boh. Primi senza infamia e senza lode (e senza sale), materia prima buona ma non trattata al meglio. I dolci non ci siamo azzardati, non siamo così coraggiosi. Qualche ragnatela di troppo qua e là.

27/01/2025: Locale accogliente, personale cortese, cibo ben preparato, buona scelta di vini locali, atmosfera piacevole. La soluzione ideale per una visita allo splendido borgo di San Gusmè!

12/01/2025: Beautiful venue in the heart of an equally beautiful village. We had a really good time. A large variety of typical local dishes. The staff in the room were really kind and friendly. Excellent quality/price ratio. Try it, you won't be disappointed.

Suitable for those who want to have a different experience, from the usual restaurants - pizzerias / taverns. With a beautiful dining room. Very good food, but plentiful. Maybe a little less. A story that intrigued me a lot. I would happily stay here again.

06/11/2024: Ce fut une expérience hors du commun …le restaurant était complet mais le proprio nous a ouvert la terrasse et nous avons été reçu comme des rois, bulles vin digestif Gaetane est un serveur merveilleux et que dire de sa femme qui est en cuisine. À coté de ce resto il y a des restaurants avec une étoile Michelin mais ce restaurant en mérite 2 …nous étions 4 et nous donnons 4 étoiles ce restaurant était notre étoile à nous Tout est succulent le déplacement en vaut vraiment la peine Je vous le recommande à 1000% Tout était parfait

05/11/2024: Nous avons manger sur la terrasse couverte. On nous a fait une place même si le resto était plein. Excellent service du proprio et sa femme. Les plats locaux succulents, le choix des vins parfait. Nous avons très bien mangé et bien bu ! Des Clients du Québec Canada !

31/10/2024: What an incredible experience! Immersed in the beauty of Borgo San Felice, this Michelin restaurant delivered a superb combination of elegant presentation with delicious flavors. Guided by Andrea, we picked some phenomenal dishes and of course, San Felice wines. All while sitting outside, close to a pool in the middle of Val D’Orcia… if perfection exists, it must be close to this experience! Thank you!

04/01/2025: We went to the restaurant for Christmas lunch with the whole family and we had a wonderful time. Excellent quality food and wines and everything very well looked after. Adequate price and excellent service.
