19/07/2025: Scoperta per caso e devo dire che è stata una splendida sorpresa. Personale professionale e simpatico, piatti ben eseguiti ed abbondanti, veramente molto molto gustosi. Per tutto quello che abbiamo mangiato e bevuto il prezzo è basso. Lo consiglio a pieni voti e sicuramente ci tornerò.

Il fatto che siano anche personalizzabili è un grandissimo valore aggiunto. ​Qualità Superiore: Non è il solito panino. 26/12/2025: Update December 2025: We celebrated Christmas here with our family. Service was excellent, and the food was excellent. Three seafood appetizers (see photo) cost €60 (paccheri with cherry tomatoes, scampi, clams, and lupini beans), mixed fried fish with anchovies and fried vegetables, and panettone with cream, water, wine, and coffee. It was sold out. Update 2025: Everything is always great at La Casina! --- We're regulars at this restaurant, and I can say it's an extremely good restaurant, especially for the price. The dishes are good and plentiful, and there's no cover charge. I recommend the tagliolini with lobster, the seafood sauté, and the cacciucco (fish stew). Located in the Viareggio pine forest, 200 meters from the sea, it offers both indoor and outdoor seating, with air conditioning. During high season, it's better to reach it by bike than by car due to the lack of parking in the area (free parking nearby from 1-3 PM and after 8 PM). They often offer a free after-dinner drink at the end of the meal. - August 2023. This year too, we've been to the local restaurant a couple of times, always top-notch. The seafood is good and plentiful, and there's a fixed-price menu available (4 appetizers, 2 first courses, fried food, and water, plus wine). The staff is friendly and helpful, and there's a wide variety of "ammazza caffè" (afternoon tea) for those like me who don't get the usual "amaro del Capo" (a bitter liqueur). Don't be put off by anyone who complains about slow service. The staff is always busy, but when there's a lot of people, you might have to wait, but that means you'll eat well!

26/12/2025: Christmas lunch set menu. Everything was excellent, from appetizer to dessert. The staff were knowledgeable and extremely friendly, the service was prompt, and the place was spotless. I highly recommend it and will definitely be back.

11/11/2025: I ordered two pizzas, and upon delivery I realized one was wrong. I called right away and they fixed the problem by sending it to my house free of charge. Well done guys, that's how you do it and win new customers. My wife and I already love your pizzas, so now you won't lose us anymore.

25/02/2026: The products served are definitely fresh and high-quality. We had paccheri with squid, clams, and bottarga...everything was delicious, it's a shame they couldn't bring it all together. The tuna was excellent, the octopus was excellent, and the fried food was average. Excellent service, friendly and attentive staff. They accept dogs without a problem and will immediately provide you with a bowl of water for your furry friends. The only bathroom (at least the one marked as the restroom) is inaccessible to the disabled. They probably have a dedicated one, at least I hope so.

03/01/2026: Attracted by the name and our hunger, we stumbled upon a classy restaurant, with friendly, attentive, and professional staff who welcomed us warmly as if we were regulars. The food was excellent, with generous portions from appetizer to dessert. The menu is exclusively fish-based. A recommended stop. It's located in a quiet area of ​​Viareggio, away from the crowds, yet still facing the sea, opposite the beach clubs.

10/01/2026: Bar Irene is now an institution, and they know how to do it. There are only two problems: 1) the indoor space is practically nonexistent, so there's only outdoor space. 2) people smoke outside, regardless of whether someone is still eating at the next table. If good manners aren't present (i.e., getting up and moving away from the tables), the manager should intervene and allow smoking either outside or on the outdoor terrace. This is the only really annoying thing.

02/01/2026: The staff is incredibly friendly. The location is interesting, right in front of the old market. The music is top-notch. The pastries, appetizers, and coffee are excellent. Everything feels like a harmonious blend of vital elements.
