03/03/2026: In my opinion this was an average, slightly above what I would expect from fast food, pizza. Too much cheese, the dough was rather the flatter american type.
Of course I bare in mind that I've ordered half a pizza, so it wasn't a fresh one.
The booth outside smelled a bit musty.
Its early March not August, and my opinion hopefully is constructive enough, stating my subjective impressions.
03/03/2026: We each ordered half a pizza, each a different one, and each was dissatisfied.
The ingredients were low-quality and scattered all over the place.
I highly recommend this place. It's better to wait until 5:30 PM until siesta is over and go to a better restaurant.

07/09/2025: Note of the week: At Pizzeria 245, I found the Viareggio marinara I was looking for. A truly successful version, with authentic and well-balanced flavors. The staff was friendly and attentive, while the atmosphere, while welcoming, could use a few extra touches to express its full potential. An experience to keep in my food journal.

24/02/2026: Terrible experience. Poor quality food. Sad atmosphere (even though the consecrated church is nice). Let alone the service: three times they brought us dishes that weren't ours. If only we'd paid less.

04/11/2025: In Viareggio, we were looking for a kiosk... but we couldn't find one: the kebabs didn't inspire us, so we chose this little Chinese restaurant where we had lunch with the all-you-can-eat option. Everything was good/average. The staff was friendly. The restaurant is a bit dated, as I recall, and there was limited space between the tables.
03/11/2025: Simply divine... Service, food, price... Everything is perfect.. Very, very highly recommended!

02/11/2025: Not recommended for wheelchair users. I broke my foot and had to climb the narrow stairs holding onto the handrails. There's no elevator because it's an old villa. The staff is friendly. The rooms are clean and the breakfast is good. It's a lovely place, so go there.
17/10/2025: A period villa with spartan but comfortable rooms. The bathrooms are a bit small. The staff is very friendly.

13/01/2026: The two of us went for lunch on Sunday. We had two maltagliati with scampi and two pan-fried Pino pasta dishes. I have to say, both were delicious. The price isn't cheap, but it reflects the quality and deliciousness of the food. I'll definitely be back.

09/02/2026: I've never had such a bad pizza in any restaurant in Italy. I don't think it can even be called that, according to the dictionary. Margherita €8.50.
Service was inattentive.
26/12/2025: We came here for the pizza, which we'd heard was good, and I can confirm that. But I saw the tagliatelle with ragù and a Florentine steak pass by, and I think I'll have to go back! See you soon.

Very varied menu, generous and tasty portions.
22/02/2026: Dinner with friends. Unfortunately, only when we arrived did they tell us there was a €25 fixed menu, featuring cured meats and cheese, and meat ravioli with ragù. The appetizer was a platter of mortadella, Hungarian salami, ham and stracchino, and pizza dough that was probably fried... all very, very poor, so we ordered another. Then the meat-filled ravioli with ragù weren't that great.
So: 4 menus for €25, €100 + 1 platter + 2 desserts + 2 coffees ☕️ TOTAL €130, split between two, €67.50 per couple... we didn't ask or say anything, but they took another €5 from us.
