A lovely experience with the chef who sat down at your table.
But the prices were perhaps a little too high.
A little less would be enough and it would be top notch.
30/12/2025: We were two at La Martinatica and had a truly positive experience. The service was extremely kind and attentive; the chef's presence was also a real pleasure, coming to the table every now and then for a casual chat, always with great charm.
We chose a nine-course tasting menu, all meticulously prepared, beautifully presented, and with great attention to detail. A gastronomic journey that completely satisfied us from start to finish.
The price was absolutely in line with the quality of the food and service. A highly recommended experience; we'll gladly return.

08/12/2025: We stopped for lunch and ordered a seafood salad, scampi gnocchi, and clam spaghetti. We were pleasantly surprised by the freshness of the ingredients and the sheer deliciousness of everything we ordered. Congratulations!

10/01/2026: We had lunch at Sementis for the first time and had high expectations. Unfortunately, I have to admit that I expected much better in some respects: the sweet and sour appetizer can't be worth €15-16, and on my plate I found 4-5 pieces of raw pumpkin and a few sprigs of broccoli; the same goes for the hazelnut parfait, which was certainly not bad, but the hazelnut didn't arrive.
As for the other dishes, they were good but nothing exceptional. What a shame!!!

04/12/2025: A carefully renovated old farmhouse in an easy-to-reach location, framed by a stream and bamboo canes, the atmosphere is so familiar it feels like home. The staff is attentive and friendly, ready to fulfill any wish. The food is truly exquisite, top-quality, expertly prepared. The wines are truly excellent, as is the bill. Try it and let me know. Recommended.

06/12/2025: First affordable place I've found upon entering Montepulciano, and honestly, it lives up to its hype. The first courses are plentiful and succulent. I haven't tried the appetizers or main courses, but I imagine they're on the same wavelength. The glass of wine is a bit pricey. Overall, it's good, although one room is a bit small.
