30/09/2025: Lovely staff ,great food but we didn't go back as really loud music which isn't something we enjoy when eating and relaxing Also the music cam be heard in our hotel room and pool area all day ,which is really not nice or appropriate for the area at this time of year You had some nice relaxing music earlier ,now it's awful radio which isn't background music if you can hear it pounding from the roof of a nearby hotel ,when you just want to relax

29/09/2025: It couldn't be worse. The bread was dry. The food wasn't seasoned! The shrimp weren't shrimp at all. Way too expensive! You're better off going somewhere else.

05/10/2025: A place where time stands still. On both sides of a stream and small ponds in the woods... this is the osteria in Candalla. A beautiful location. The owners and staff are all very kind and professional. The menu is original, yet traditional. Prices are accordingly, but it's worth it.

05/10/2025: I went to Osteria Candalla with a couple of friends, honestly one of the most unique places I saw in Tuscany. Right next to the river, trees everywhere, almost like you walk in some secret garden, not easy to find but that makes it special I guess. The food was good, I had pasta with wild boar sauce, strong taste but not too much, delicate somehow, hard to explain, my friend had grilled meat and it was really juicy. The waiter came with a wine suggestion, local one, and it was actually perfect with the pasta, even if I don’t usually notice this stuff. Prices not cheap, but ok, because you are not only eating, you are in this crazy natural spot.

13/09/2025: Splendid, high-quality products: cured meats, cheeses, ready-made dishes, tordelli... Excellent platters. You can purchase specialty products, typical of the area, such as pepper cake and biroldo. Definitely worth a visit for lunch or dinner. Closes at 8:30 PM.

10/10/2025: My husband and I have become addicted to Nicola. The giant pizzas are delicious, unmatched. The dough is thin, crispy, and cooked to perfection. Even though they're huge, we always ate the whole thing! You have to see them to believe them!

04/08/2025: We stopped at this restaurant on the recommendation of acquaintances, who remembered having eaten there well, especially the pizza. In reality, we discovered that it's primarily a seafood restaurant, although they do make pizzas upon request. We had a mixed seafood appetizer and a first course of egg tagliolini with clams and bottarga, a "tordello di carne" (meat tortello), all delicious. The staff were polite and attentive, the food was quick, and there were two small dining rooms inside. Parking isn't easy due to limited availability.

21/09/2025: We had the best meal here in Lido di Camaiore. Even though the prices are on the higher side, in retrospect, it was reasonable. The food was incredibly delicious, the service very friendly, and the ambiance was fantastic. We would definitely come back.

Then you meet Brunella, who exudes a strong passion for her work, attentive to every detail and meticulous in the entire organization. All this makes your party (in my case, my wedding) a unique and special event. Thank you for everything you did for us, we couldn't have asked for more!

09/08/2025: The place is nice, but there's no advertised view, absolutely not. Perhaps only from one table can you glimpse something with binoculars... Around the tables outside, there's only scrub, bushes, and very tall grass that hasn't been cut in years; that's the view you'll have. On the other side, you'll have the road. The menu is extremely limited, with little choice among fairly banal dishes on a menu that's tourist-friendly and lacks any bells and whistles, even if they're adequately prepared by the chefs. Family-style service. Reasonable prices. The idea of blankets available for those eating outside to protect themselves from the chill is a nice one, but if you go in the summer, bring a jacket anyway.

03/09/2025: I spent a lovely day at the beach with my brother. Everything was clean and well-maintained, and the kitchen was excellent. The owners are very nice: when we arrived, they provided us with an umbrella closest to the beach, just like the one booked online, but I saw that the weather was a bit unstable. 23/09/2025: Four of us went there for dinner last night. The food was good, but overall, we weren't impressed. There was no music, and the atmosphere wasn't particularly inviting – even though there were only three tables occupied, there were two waiters serving, who didn't seem particularly friendly or attentive. The atmosphere was simply lacking. We found the prices significantly too high: for four main courses that were truly meager, even two light eaters said two waters and two bottles of wine (approx. €30 each), a portion of purée cost €10, which wasn't included with the €40 fish, so €50 for a small portion of fish with tomatoes, we paid over €300. For that price, we would have expected a more harmonious ambiance and a special overall experience. Overall, it was rather disappointing – good food, but not convincing value for money, and no atmosphere that would make us come back.

We waited 40 minutes for a drink order, and another 40 minutes for the waiter to come take our order. In response to the owner's comments, yes, I was at the wrong restaurant. It was called DA FRANCO.
