27/10/2025: Very unexpectedly delicious lunch. We were stopping in Camaiore to relive some childhood memories and unfortunately most restaurants were closed for lunch in late October. We saw some customers eating in front of this norcineria and decided to have a look what food options they had. All the food they had looked delicious and we decided to get some lasagna and a local quiche. The food was outstanding and very reasonably priced. I can thoroughly recommend their lasagna which was excellent.

13/09/2025: Splendid, high-quality products: cured meats, cheeses, ready-made dishes, tordelli... Excellent platters. You can purchase specialty products, typical of the area, such as pepper cake and biroldo. Definitely worth a visit for lunch or dinner. Closes at 8:30 PM.

13/03/2026: The waitress was very friendly and gave us good advice. Excellent appetizer with quality cured meats, crostini, and cheese. The meat was good, with fries (thick ones) and a vegetable platter. The tart with chestnut flour and local ricotta was delicious! The house wine was also good. Good value. I love the house mascot, "the big cat."

01/03/2026: We went on a trip to Viareggio and Camaiore, where we had lunch. Clean, small, and comfortable atmosphere. The food was delicious; the pici all'ortolana were excellent. The attentive staff, congratulations.

17/02/2026: Excellent place, we had lunch after a tournament at the nearby sports hall, the lady was super kind enough to let us in even though it was closing time. Excellent products, friendly staff, fast service. I recommend it!!!

04/04/2026: Professionalism? They don't even know what that is. I went here with a friend for lunch, and unfortunately, it was a truly terrible experience. The food wasn't great, and the entrees were very salty. The biggest problem, however, was the treatment we received from the staff. When we asked the waiter for the bill, we were told we could pay there or go to the cash register. We replied that it was the same for us and that going to the cash register was fine. At that point, however, between one thing and another and absorbed in the conversation with my friend, I honestly missed the payment, while my friend was convinced we should simply go to the cash register to settle the bill. So we headed there completely calmly, without any ill intentions. When this was pointed out to us, we immediately apologized several times and politely, explaining that it was just a misunderstanding. Once we reached the cash register, where we also asked to split the bill, the situation worsened. In particular, a member of staff began to address us in an extremely rude and offensive manner, insinuating that we wanted to leave without paying. She was the one who was most aggressive, arrogant, and humiliating toward us. Immediately afterward, she started talking about us to another colleague, believing that we didn't understand Italian simply because we were speaking to each other in our own language. We felt criticized and offended in front of everyone. At that point, I responded in Italian, explaining that we understood everything perfectly and that there had been no ill intent, just a mistake. Instead of calming the situation, we received an even more aggressive response, with phrases like, "How can you forget to pay? It's not something that happens by accident." From then on, the tone became even more arrogant and rude. My friend, to avoid an argument, tried to settle the matter calmly, but she too received a rude and offensive response. We were treated with absurd rudeness, with loud voices and attitudes that should never be used with customers. What makes it even more absurd is that this bar was one of my favorites. I often went there for coffee or aperitivo, and I even brought my friends because it was a place I really liked. For this very reason, I was even more disappointed by what happened. After an episode like that, however, I will never set foot in this place again. Service like this is simply unacceptable. Misunderstandings can happen, but they must be handled with courtesy and professionalism. Here, they clearly don't even know what professionalism is. Hello, Your response confirms exactly the reason for my review. No one ever denied the misunderstanding about the payment: as soon as it was pointed out to us, we apologized immediately and paid. That's not the point. The issue is the way we were treated afterward, with aggressive tones, inappropriate insinuations, and comments made in front of us in an extremely disrespectful manner. Stating publicly that "we shouldn't have commented on anything" is extremely serious, because every customer has the right to share their experience, especially when they've felt humiliated. And this response, written in this tone, once again demonstrates a lack of professionalism and no real desire to understand what happened. Being professional doesn't mean "catching those who don't pay," but knowing how to handle a misunderstanding with politeness, respect, and intelligence. We apologized immediately. On your part, however, there was no attempt to calm the situation, only arrogance. I'm even more sorry because yours was a place I enjoyed frequenting and where I often brought others. After what happened and after this response, I remain even more convinced of my review.

09/11/2025: Arriving at 8:30 PM, we ordered an appetizer and two first courses. The tables next to us were being served as expected. The appetizer arrived. At 10:00 PM, having not heard anything about the first courses, I got up and went to ask about them. "Sorry, sorry, there was a mix-up," I was told. The two dishes finally arrived at 10:30 PM, quickly prepared, and it was obvious. We finished the first courses and the pizza we had requested. After 30 minutes, I got up again and asked if someone could take our order for two desserts. In the end, I got really impatient because I was scolded for getting up too many times to request non-existent service. It's Saturday and we do everything express. And this is just for my table? What does that mean? You don't go to restaurants on Saturdays and you have to ask if someone is passing by to order? It's beside the point to say we're not a 5-star restaurant. What does that mean? This is about respect. It was an evening that left me with a bitter taste in my mouth.

02/04/2026: Very good gluten-free pizza! The dough is handmade by them. The best I've ever had (and I've been eating gluten-free for 2 years due to an intolerance). My boyfriend always tries my gluten-free pizzas and was very surprised by the dough. He's not gluten intolerant, but he loved it! We'll be back! The gluten-free pizza is only €1 (great price).
