23/08/2025: The staff was very welcoming and professional, and the food was truly good. When I return to Andrè Aghini's Tenuta Ai 4 Venti, I'll definitely be back to eat at this pizzeria and restaurant more than once. Congratulations! 👏👏👏👏

03/09/2025: We were seated at a table at 6:35 PM and received our drinks very quickly. There were three other tables around us. The restaurant gradually filled up, and tables that arrived after us received their food. At this point, we had no chance to order anything. Even when we tried to wave to the waitress, we were ignored. After we still couldn't order at 7:30 PM (while tables that arrived half an hour later already had their food), we decided to pay for our drinks and leave the restaurant. It was a huge disappointment to be ignored for almost an hour in a half-empty restaurant while everyone else was already eating!

03/09/2025: Dinner with a friend. The food was good, but not excellent, and in line with the price. The place is family-friendly, with entertainment and games for children. The waitresses were friendly and efficient.

18/08/2025: I'd like to give less than one star, but unfortunately it's not possible: a terrible experience. We had ordered pizzas for 7:30 PM, but at 8:15 PM, when nothing arrived, we asked for an explanation. The pizza chef's response was to throw our order in the trash, while the barista rudely told us to stop complaining.

29/08/2025: So, let's start with the positives: a simple atmosphere, friendly staff, and excellent food. The biggest issue is the portion sizes compared to the prices. In a location as unpretentious as a tennis club bar (and rightly so), if you set the price for squid alla diavola (delicious) at €25, you can't afford to pay just one squid (squid is certainly not expensive). The same goes for the grilled octopus: the sauces are delicious, and the octopus is good, but a tiny little tentacle costs €18. In my opinion, the price/quantity ratio needs to be rebalanced. Let me be clear, I say this with affection, but it just won't do. It doesn't take much to rebalance everything!

01/07/2025: We had dinner here on the advice of acquaintances and we were absolutely happy. Tables overlooking the fields and delicious dishes but the plus of the place is certainly Massimo with his friendliness and availability that makes the evening even more enjoyable. Recommended place

22/04/2025: Trovare posto all’ultimo e ritrovarsi seduto a bordo del mare. Coccolati dal rumore del mare e dal personale gentile e accogliente. Piatti curati ma sopratutto preparati con prodotti freschi e di qualità. Consigliatissimo!

This is exactly the image of this place, we are often fooled by the appearance and the location, it's worth trying especially for special occasions, excellent service, one of the best I've tried this year.

24/08/2025: Overall surprisingly good and authentic experience! Service was friendly, a bit overloaded. The kids enjoyed Pizza and penne bianco. We enjoyed the house wine with risotto and Spaghetti Vongole & Butarga.

23/08/2025: We stopped at the bar for an excellent breakfast and snack. The atmosphere is very nice, takes you back to the 70s. The decor is beautiful. This is a must-stop every time I go to Cecina. The service was excellent and the friendliness was excellent.

28/06/2025: Locale informale, si trova in una posizione tranquilla. Cibo molto buono (consiglio la carbonara di mare), servizio velocissimo e personale cortese. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Ci tornerò sicuramente.

14/07/2025: We were in the area for medical checkups and stopped at the first place to settle our stomachs, without too many expectations. We're both 5 & 5 lovers (and here the expectations are even less since it's hard to find a well-made cake outside of Livorno). We were pleasantly surprised. The cake was delicious! It's a shame we live "far away."

10/07/2025: The pizza was served uncut. I asked for it to be cut, but the woman who does all the work, has contact with money, etc. cut it into 4 pieces without a smile and gave it to me as if I had asked for something that wasn't real. When I came to eat, I only then saw that there were 4 pieces. Of course, I went and asked for more cuts. But it was difficult, but I still cut it.

27/07/2025: We went on a Sunday evening in late July and found a last-minute table. The restaurant owner was super kind and friendly and welcomed us warmly. The dishes were delicious and beautifully presented. The Fassona steak was exceptional. Desserts were also very good. Wide selection of wines. The restaurant is very nice and well-maintained. Highly recommended! We'll be back!

13/07/2025: Wrong number and wrong type of takeout pizzas. Third time it's happened! I'll definitely change pizzerias, especially because the price was as if we'd gotten the pizzas we ordered. Disappointing.

20/08/2025: OGLIERA RESTAURANT 😊 We didn't stay at the hotel, so this review is limited to the restaurant, where we dined twice as external guests. ATMOSPHERE: In summer, you dine on a lovely, airy terrace, cool thanks to the breeze that channels between Monte Capanne and the sea—definitely the coolest location we've found in the area. The view is partly of the sea and partly of the beautiful mountains beyond. The overall atmosphere is relaxing and pleasant. SERVICE: We have no complaints and haven't encountered any of the poor service or inconveniences mentioned in other reviews. The staff we interacted with were friendly, punctual, and professional. A special mention goes to the wine; the markup is the most honest we've found in the area, which is nice; we always order the same bottles from Elba, and the difference between one place and another is sometimes notable. In some cases, the markup is unjustifiable and doesn't look good. They're definitely honest here. CUISINE: Traditional Elban dishes, delicious, each with its own distinct character, and satisfying portions. Among the dishes we sampled, we highlight the signature dish, "Spaghetti all'Ogliera" (Spaghetti with Ogliera Sauce), tasty and flavorful, it has a well-deserved reputation and is a must-try if you like full-bodied flavors; "Spaghetti with Sea Urchin Eggs" (Spaghetti with Sea Urchin Eggs), all the flavor of the sea but well-balanced; "Gnocchi alla Margherita" (Gnocchi with Spider Crab and vegetables), a delicate dish that perhaps needs a little more character. The "Calamari ripieni all'Elbana" (Stuffed Calamari Elba Style) is excellent and highly recommended; I won't deny that we came here specifically to eat them! 😁 The fresh house desserts are the usual tiramisu, crema catalana, panna cotta, etc., offered in basic versions and, given the slightly more refined overall appearance, seem like a somewhat neglected part of the menu. Prices are fair for the local cuisine on offer, in terms of quality and quantity. Reservations are recommended and if you want to eat stuffed calamari, make sure there are some available in advance.

16/08/2025: We had dinner at this restaurant recommended by a friend. The location was very pretty and beautifully lit. We ordered both fish and meat dishes. The service was very slow, and the fish dishes weren't fresh or tasty... in fact, we just tasted them and left them; the wait staff didn't even ask why. We won't be back, and I don't recommend it. I'm sorry. 😣
