My wife attended a business dinner and told me they ordered seafood and meat dishes à la carte, bottled wine, and water served in glass bottles, which is unusual in all restaurants. The food was well packaged, perhaps a little salty. The price was slightly higher than average.

I'd often heard good things about it but had never eaten there. I must say I missed out! Weekday lunch with my wife, hot seafood appetizer and a mix of four appetizers, both very good. The mixed fried fish was well-cooked and not very greasy, excellent as well. The dessert flambé (crème brulee). The only small complaint was the coffee, which wasn't the best (but that's a matter of taste). The average bill was around €40-45 per person. The atmosphere was truly vintage (I like it), but the seats were comfortable and there wasn't a single cobweb on the ceiling. Overall, we had a great time, and we'd happily return!

Delicious seafood, excellent value, friendly service, and a family atmosphere. Remember to book well in advance as it's always busy. Takeout is also available.

The cacciucco is excellent, even made their way. Fast and friendly service. The atmosphere could use a makeover, but that's their choice, and it should be respected for the restaurant's history. The sink is beautiful.

12/12/2025: A young man who's worked hard (as we Tuscans say) and has turned his passion into a landmark restaurant. Ask him to explain the dishes and you'll be thrilled with his preparation; you can tell he really cares. For those who complain about the high prices, I'll give you an example: "In Marina di Vecchiano, two take-out beers are 12 euros." Are you on Elba in a fantastic seaside location and want to spend a fortune? Wouldn't it be better to stay home? Service, location, staff, food quality, and amenities all come at a price. Whether it's lunch, an aperitif, a snack, or dinner, you're in the right place; try it and believe it. Well done, Thomas (and all the staff, of course), keep it up.
