Excellent regional cuisine, prepared primarily with local produce, offers excellent value for money. A friendly welcome. Beautiful views. Local products are also available for purchase.

02/01/2025: Quality food typical of the area. The red of the day (Nero di Sorano) is something to try (and buy, we took away 2 bottles) The guy who served us was very nice and courteous. The venue is really beautiful. Really honest prices.

21/02/2025: We visited Sorano in February, and a lot of places are closed at this time especially during the week. But, we came across Antonio at Pizzeria il Buongustaio Rosticceria. The place offers mainly pizza on the menu and also Al Taglio. We ordered a capriciosa, vesuvio, salmon and ruccola pizza, prosciutto e fungi and a bianca e prosciutto. So delicious!! Traditional Italian pizza, very thin and fresh ingredients. If you are around this area pay a visit. The prices are very low for a scrumptious pizza.

16/02/2025: A fantastic environment, a wonderful and uncommon selection of local wines (compared to classic tourist restaurants), mouth-watering dishes. Friendly, competent and non-invasive (but very helpful) manager. Sorano is very beautiful, but even if it wasn't it would be worth a visit just for L'Ottava Rima.

22/02/2025: Suako stati ieri sera a cena in questo ristorante davvero caratteristico e delizioso . Scelto per caso da me ma andando a verificare determinate cose . Per cominciare locale molto carino e personale super gentile , a partire dal proprietario e il cameriere Loris che ci ha serviti e consigliati . Cibi fantastici e ottimi . Abbiamo preso delle zuppe favolose di funghi e funghi e castagne la vellutata . Secondo la tagliata e il filetto e il carpaccio di carciofi . Ci siamo trovati benissimo e qualità prezzi ottimi ! Ci torniamo anche stasera . Ps. Dimenticavo per finire la serata mi ha salutata il cagnolino del proprietario davvero dolce e carino .

16/02/2025: Mangiato benissimo, eravamo in quattro: antipasto il loro tagliere poi tartare, tagliata al tartufo carne eccezionale e cotta bene!!... i nostri mariti hanno preso la pizza alla pala, cotta bene e bel lievitata e tutto abbondante...e per finire dolci fatti in casa strepitosi... il personale competente, molto cortese e simpatico..sicuramente ci torniamo!!!...

04/01/2025: Oggi a pranzo dopo la visita alle terme di Sorano abbiamo deciso di andare a mangiare in questo agriturismo. E meno male che siamo venuti! Antipasto misto con delle cosine stuzzicanti sott'olio e marmellate buonissime...anche il pane è buono fatto da loro! Come primo abbiamo scelto gli gnudi alla toscana con tartufo fresco! Ottimi! Poi finocchi al vino e sformatino di cavolo con besciamella e per finire tronchetti al vin santo....tutti buono ! Servizio ottimo, ragazza simpaticissima! Peccato che abitiamo a due ore e mezza di distanza altrimenti ci tornavamo più spesso! Il posto è incantevole in mezzo alla campagna tra Sorano e Castell'Azzara.. Consiglio a chi mi legge di fare una sosta e non rimarrete delusi...peccato non abbiamo potuto mangiare di più ma dopo le feste e dopo tre giorni di vacanza nei dintorni non ce la potevamo fare!. Il menù però lo meritava!!!

11/09/2024: Cucina tradizionale cucinata con passione e servita con celerità e gentilezza. Esperienza molto piacevole, adatta a chi cerca sapori genuini. Prezzo assolutamente competitivo. L'agriturismo produce anche oli essenziali.

19/01/2025: Located in the center of the splendid village of Sovana, we had lunch outdoors in a splendid garden... friendly staff, traditional local dishes well prepared and served... good value for money too...

08/01/2025: We tried mixed bruschettas, such as purple potato gnocchi in pumpkin cream soup and tagliatelle with meat sauce and desserts, ricotta tiramisu and apple and cinnamon tart. I recommend everything because every dish was delicious and the owner and cook were kind and helpful

12/02/2025: After touring all over Sorano looking for a restaurant we came across this place. Welcoming environment, kind and attentive staff, excellent quality food with the right portions, all completed by a more than good price. We will definitely be back
