07/01/2025: What a splendid experience. Dishes prepared with love and with super local ingredients. I tried the meatballs with ricotta and vegetables. Breathtaking. I tried the pici (first course) and if you love garlic, this is the dish for you. The stuffed guinea fowl was wow. I finished with the lemon cream. Lemon 100% I also met the lady who rolls out the dough. Very kind everyone A little out of the way, but worth a visit

04/11/2024: I can "understand" the negative reviews because it is clearly not a place for everyone, including me. But precisely because it is clearly not a place that focuses on quantity but on quality these do not make sense. First of all, it is not easy to reach but that alone makes it, in my opinion, a characteristic place like Sorano. Just as the place is characteristic and fascinating. The food is not commercial or refined but traditional, local and revisited, something which, as mentioned before, may not please everyone but I think that is not their aim, their aim is to make you discover new flavors or perhaps it would be better to say rediscover . I would also say a word about the wine list but, again as stated, it is not a place even for me who am absolutely not an expert. The person who served us was very kind, who I believe was the owner, who for a small oversight offered a glass of fine wine to a table... but, I tell this to underline that it is not a place for everyone, he probably must have regretted it when he saw it stay in the glasses :'(

28/12/2024: The owner was super friendly, and the indoor space was cozy enough for a quick dinner. The pizza has a very thin crust that makes it very light and super easy to digest. It was also very tasty, and did not give any thirst sensation in the following hours. The price was very affordable. We paid slightly more than 20€ for 2 pizzas and a bottle of coke (1 liter).

03/12/2024: Ci sono entrato per caso un lunedì sera di novembre, alla ricerca di un posto dove mangiare un piatto caldo. Mi è subito piaciuto il locale tra l'enoteca e la Gastronomia. Mi ha accolto un signore dall'accento inglese. Ho bevuto un bicchiere di rosso e mangiato la ribollita. Ho assaggiato il dolce tipico del luogo, lo sfratto: mille e noci avvolti in una leggera sfoglia. Ci sono tornato la settimana dopo e mi ha colpito che si sono ricordati. Non capita spesso. Da allora, per 5 settimana ci sono ritornato. Non solo per la qualità del cibo, ma per la compagnia dei due soci, un felice mix fatto di flemma inglese e di veracita toscana

27/12/2024: Very nice place typical of the villages but with the characteristic of having inside a splendid mini gallery that leads to an old cellar used in ancient times as a food storage warehouse given its stable temperature in all seasons, dug by hand inside or the tuff rock, very beautiful and can be visited, friendly and helpful staff, right price for excellent quality products cooked with skill, if you happen to be in these parts it deserves a nice lunch stop.

21/09/2024: Erika and Alessandro are two magnificent and extremely helpful people, it's nice to talk to them and stay in their little corner of paradise. I was able to enjoy a wonderful experience of total relaxation and detachment from the chaotic world of Rome. Exquisite food, try Sara's cakes, they are magnificent.
