21/08/2025: Let me start by saying we weren't able to go, so this is a review of the staff. It's certainly a great restaurant, but it's unthinkable to be unable to book a reservation for a whole month. Sometimes because they don't answer the phone, sometimes because they hang up, and then without even checking, they say there's no room. In short, a really bad way to behave.

21/08/2025: Gianni and his team are definitely in a different league. I've been coming here for a while and have always found the restaurant to be welcoming, with quality ingredients, excellent dishes, and impeccable service. But last night, in the midst of a real downpour with a general power outage that put everyone to the test, I had the final confirmation. With savoir faire and great professionalism, Gianni and his staff—in a truly challenging situation—managed the unexpected, rearranging the dining room with all guests indoors without losing their smiles. And, as always, an excellent dinner was served. Well done everyone.

04/07/2025: Amazing Maremma tortelli, good cold cuts and wild boar... too bad that having booked at the last minute they reserved the place inside (hot) for us without having warned us first... and made us wait too long for the wild boar while at the other tables everything had already been served..... anyway definitely worth going for tortelli both with ragù and butter and sage.... specify tables outside which being high up in Tirli is also "fresh"

24/08/2025: Excellent restaurant! A welcoming and quiet atmosphere and super friendly staff. The food, typical of the Maremma region, is excellent: flavorful cured meats, a rich and varied first course (I personally would have preferred the tortelli with ragù and the gnocchi with butter and sage rather than the other way around, which is why I'm giving the food 4/5 stars). The desserts are the highlight (we had the chocolate and chili pepper cake and the salted caramel cheesecake). Excellent value. Highly recommended.

31/08/2025: I think it's the best restaurant in Castiglione della Pescaia. We had a killer appetizer, first course, and dessert, all delicious and worthy of praise. Generous portions and high quality. The staff is incredibly friendly, friendly, and attentive, able to advise and answer any questions. The outdoor seating is charming, overlooking the alley, but the inside is also huge and very pleasant. A remarkable experience, the #1 place to try.

30/08/2025: Definitely a MUST-visit place if you want to eat well in Castiglione della Pescaia. If you're a couple and can...book the cellar. A charming, truly romantic setting for two. The food and service are impeccable.

16/08/2025: Finally, a typical Tuscan restaurant. A beautiful location, with a lovely terrace overlooking Follonica, perfect for enjoying the cool summer air. Typical Tuscan dishes, homemade but very tasty. The staff is friendly and available to accommodate guests' requests. The only drawback is the limited parking...but let's say all restaurants in the area have the same problem. Worth a try if you're in the area. The game first and second courses are excellent.

11/08/2025: Some friends recommended this place to us, and we managed to go even though it's always crowded. Luckily, we had a great time. We ate everything from appetizers (one shared between two), first courses, second courses, and dessert, plus wine, and it was all delicious! Aside from the spectacular sunset view from the terrace, the food was tasty and high-quality... as they say in my area... lovely and succulent! The ragù was amazing, and both the fillet and the tagliata were buttery! Spectacular. And we paid a fair price for practically a full dinner, including meat. 50 euros each, more than enough, I'd say! We even bought their gin!

21/07/2025: We stayed at this property as a couple from July 15th to July 19th. I wasn't familiar with this hotel and chose it based on the reviews I'd read. We were very satisfied with everything: the service, food, breakfast, friendliness, hospitality, room, cleanliness, availability, and location. I consider it a guarantee, and I'll definitely return. Highly recommended.

19/07/2025: Returned today after four days: for those looking for a genuine and intimate hotel, close to the center and the lake despite being on a side street. The service, hospitality, and unparalleled helpfulness of Walter and Daiana make the place pleasant and well-maintained. The food is very good with a wide selection. As always, family-run establishments are the best. Thank you for making our stay enjoyable.

15/08/2025: This gourmet paradise is a feast for the senses. In a meticulously maintained setting and with delightful service, you can enjoy some of the best cuisine in Castiglione and Tuscany. Excellent quality dishes are impeccably prepared by the friendly and attentive chefs. The best cantuccini I've ever eaten, rare fish, and fabulous side dishes. Highly recommended.

24/06/2025: Compliments for the philosophy they carry forward… tasting of their own and quality products. In addition to food, only wine and fruit juices made by them are also available to drink. We tried almost all the cooked dishes, pappa al pomodoro, panzanella, beans, tripe… everything delicious. Compliments.

23/06/2025: If you come to Castiglione this restaurant is unmissable. Traditional Maremma food. We had dinner for two nights, the specialties to taste were too many. Exquisite food. The owner was very friendly and was able to recommend traditional dishes. Raw materials of excellent quality. Highly recommended also as a quality-price ratio. We will definitely be back.

06/08/2025: Sempre sul pezzo! Tutto sempre cucinato a regola d'arte e con le migliori materie prime. I nuovi piatti recentemente inseriti nel menù sono tremendamente buoni, io adoro il tonno, ma anche tutto il resto non scherza... provare x credere! Il personale tutto è fantastico, sempre efficiente e sorridente.

13/07/2025: Contesto splendido, buon servizio, ottima pizza. La corte di Pian di Rocca è un posto d'altri tempi e questo locale è gestito con onestà e gentilezza pure non più comuni.

20/08/2025: Nice place, really good food, but quite expensive. The carpaccio wasn't very generous, while the main courses (tuna steak and grilled squid) were average. But overall, I'd go back.

11/08/2025: 5 well-deserved stars. Excellent value, fresh fish, simply cooked. The staff is welcoming and friendly. We always love returning, just a few minutes from the main promenade. Pet friendly.

07/08/2025: Very unusual menu, but they didn't even say goodbye to us when we left.

06/08/2025: Not very satisfied. Starting with the menu, there were only two dishes with fresh fish; the rest were all frozen (which is a bit strange for a seafood restaurant). The wine and bread were brought after we had received the appetizers and after I had requested them at least four times. I tried the shrimp ceviche, which was honestly good, but there were only four shrimp, and considering the price of the dish (18 euros), it was a steal. Overall, very poor value for money.

02/08/2025: A small restaurant surrounded by greenery, the outdoor area is truly charming. They serve traditional dishes, made with high-quality ingredients. The freshly baked cakes are delicious, especially the ricotta one! Fast service and reasonable prices, even if the portions aren't huge.

01/08/2025: We went twice in nine days. The first night, all Tuscan appetizers were excellent and plentiful. The second night, we added grilled chicken and grilled meat. The staff were very friendly and attentive to your needs. The atmosphere was typical of a trattoria, surrounded by greenery. Definitely worth a try.

29/07/2025: An Unforgettable Experience Get ready for an explosion of flavor! I recently visited with my family and we were absolutely amazed. The value for money is simply unbeatable, something hard to find these days. The food was exceptional from start to finish. For main courses, we enjoyed a delicious carbonara pizza and an exquisite arugula and spinach tortella that left us wanting more. But if you thought that was all, wait until you hear about the homemade desserts. The tiramisu, crème brûlée, and panna cotta were the perfect finishing touch; they truly left us speechless! Beyond the sublime food, what made our visit truly memorable was the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. We especially want to give special thanks to Bea and, above all, Mariana. They were incredibly attentive: due to a mix-up on my part when ordering a dish, Mariana changed it without hesitation. Without warning us. You don't find customer service of this level everywhere! Thank you so much, Mariana, for your exceptional service and thoughtfulness.
