20/12/2024: Excellent quality food, I recommend the dessert "Latte alla Pratese", really good and special. It's a shame to discover 3 euros cover charge per person on the bill, even if we were in the historic center of Florence, but above all the lack of style at the end with a bitter taste (in every sense) not that it should be offered as sometimes happens, but not even, as far as generous in quantity and particular in origin (I think Stelvio herbs) for 4 euros.

14/12/2024: Cercavamo un ristorante che offrisse le tipicità toscane (mio marito è Romano e non sapeva cosa fossero le “poppe” 🤣🤣🤣) abbiamo proprio trovato quello che cercavamo: midollo e lampredotto 🔝🔝!! Buonissimi anche i dolci: Il latte e tiramisù con gli amaretti veramente deliziosi!

11/05/2025: I remembered the pizza being much better especially for the dough which is not up to the prices offered. The same goes for desserts. It's a shame because the place deserves more in terms of quality. I'll probably go back hoping they'll fix it.

08/05/2025: Elegant and refined environment. Varied menu with some truly special dishes, I had the seared tuna and it was superb. The historic villa enriches the context and makes it unique. Prices in line with the location and the average for Florence.

29/04/2025: Prices definitely out of proportion. I paid €16 for two Spritz. And no, we were not in Piazza della Repubblica in Florence nor in Piazza San Marco in Venice, but on the outskirts of Sesto Fiorentino. In Venice, with that amount, I would have taken at least five and that's not hyperbole: I was only there a month ago. Scrolling through the previous reviews, I notice that I am not the first to point out the price increases. The management, however, responds in a rather annoyed way, trotting out the usual justification linked to the "increase in raw materials". A now overused explanation, which is certainly not enough to explain certain prices, especially for a simple aperitif. Furthermore, it is stated that the prices are "in line with those of the area": ​​I beg to differ. Not even in the center of Sesto Fiorentino - where you would, if anything, expect slightly higher costs - do you pay similar amounts for a Spritz. You just need to take a tour around the clubs in the center to realize this. When I saw the receipt I was honestly stunned. I paid silently and left. Despite the quality of the pasta, which some define as "the best in Sesto Fiorentino", there won't be a second time for me. Edit: If you had brought me the cutting board I definitely wouldn't have done this review. I paid €16 for 2 spritzes and a small bowl of chips. Do you think it is in line with the prices of Sesto and surrounding areas? Because if so I think that the one out of this world is not me... Edit 2: I didn't intend to answer, but I have to underline this thing which was already quite evident from your answer. That is, I am asked if I want the cutting board, I say no, and I am still charged €16, without any warning that the price would be identical. Don't you think that, if I had been told, I would have preferred to actually receive the cutting board for that amount? In the end I paid for something I didn't have. For me, this is called cunning or malice: you choose the most suitable term. A really nice way of working and treating customers. After this episode, I also take away another star and I would say that it is more than justified. Don't bother waiting for us... Best regards.

19/05/2025: A must-stop for a sweet treat. Warm welcome and delicious, fresh products. Excellent coffee and savory croissants. Nice outdoor veranda. Clean and comfortable restrooms, which is always a welcome attention for the customer

However, don't take the vegetarian dish... the artichoke was fine, the rest was passable, but there was a sort of inedible sponge covered with equally unworthy vegetables. Whoever was with me had the beef fillet... they asked for it rare and unfortunately they were overcooked. Goodbye

03/05/2025: We stopped for a quick break off the motorway, the owner was very welcoming and prepared a tray of typical products for us: we found everything very good and of good quality. Good value for money.

24/05/2025: Courtesy and kindness.. you are/will be in the right place! Wonderful low and light pizza. Not much choice but I don't think it's necessary to have more, all the classic toppings are there! The only flaw, in my opinion, is the mix between those who stop in the restaurant and the take-out orders.. let's say that apparently they could do better! Waiting to have "another" slice of pizza that we are served all the take-out orders of the moment/time is not very nice. Anyway, Congratulations!👏👏

22/02/2025: Historic pizzeria in Sesto Fiorentino with the best pizza ever! New management with welcoming and trained staff. Now the order service also works great with respected times. Even on Saturday evenings pizzas were set for 8pm and at 8.10pm I was already out with the tray. The variety of pizzas has also been renewed and with more choice, although for me the classic mushroom without mozzarella remains the top of the pizzas!! Now they also make cuddles, today I got them and I must say they were very good and crunchy on the outside despite being cold. Freshly baked I think they are world-class. The products are good and the pizzas have a low and crunchy base. Highly recommended

18/05/2025: Le aspettative erano buone ma sono andate fritte! Che grande delusione. Fritto unto e salato di un mix di ossa messe li. Poi evviva le patate surgelate a peso d'oro! Per non dimenticare la pressione da parte dei camerieri come al 90' di una partita di calcio. Da evitare!

18/05/2025: Expectations were good but they went to waste! What a big disappointment. Fried greasy and salty from a mix of bones put there. Then hurray for the frozen potatoes worth their weight in gold! Not to forget the pressure from the waiters as at the 90th minute of a football match. Avoid!

18/05/2025: Pizza is very good, too bad that for some time now it has always been arriving very late even though we always order early. Pizza scheduled for 7:00 pm because I have a small child and at 7:50 pm I call the pizzeria to find out how my order is going. I answer that they are arriving, while talking they tell me that they are waiting for the delivery guy to come back to send them and then in the end it turns out that they are still being processed. The piss is that he tells me that they will be there soon. However, between making them and delivering them it takes at least 20 minutes. I think that even though I am an old customer I will not order again.

06/04/2025: Oggi, 6 aprile, abbiamo potuto mangiare, grazie alla pasticceria Fani, la schiacciata fiorentina, dolce tipico di carnevale che, per gentile concessione ci è stata preparata grazie alla richiesta fatta da mia sorella alla proprietà, sapendo che venendo in visita da Roma è il dolce che amo di più. Grazie per la cortesia per aver fatto un dolce fuori stagione e fuori programma per esaudire una voglia che ho da sempre quando vengono in visita a Sesto Fiorentino. Dire che è strepitosa per gusto, leggerezza impalpabile della pasta, del delicato ripieno di panna e crema chantilly con cui il dolce è stato farcito, è dire poco . Una vera eccellenza della pasticceria fiorentina.

18/04/2025: Ci siamo capitate quasi per caso tornando a Firenze da Sesto, e seppur a fine serata ci hanno fatto sedere. Abbiamo ordinato due pizze componendole con degli ingrdienti a disposizione, e due calici di vino. Impasti diversi molto buoni (in particolare suggeriamo quello con la paprika dolce), servizio velocissimo, e rapporto qualità/prezzo nella media. Da tornare

08/04/2025: We stopped by chance....but I think I'll return. On a Saturday evening and without a reservation they seated us with the recommendation to leave the place early. The service was very quick and the pizzas were delicious. Fair price and when we went to pay, to apologize (but I don't see what for since we had agreed) they also offered us coffee.

22/04/2025: Di solito frequento il ristorante in estate ha un bello spazio esterno dove ci si sta e ci si mangia discretamente bene i primi e gli hamburger ieri sera ho preso delle pizze da asporto e appena arrivata a casa ci sono rimasta molto male pizze crude scondite niente condimenti sopra avevo persone a cena e non ho fatto una bella figura sicuramente per la pizza d asporto non ritornerò più
