A heartfelt vote for a place I've been going to since I was a boy. When I return to Sesto, it's always a pleasure to go and get a schiacciata col crudo at Botteghina, surrounded by greenery and the cool of Monte Morello. So many memories, so many wonderful feelings. Recommended!

A charming place for those who enjoy dining in nature, but without straying too far from the city. Our table was right under an olive tree. We had a great time, and the staff was incredibly friendly. Excellent food! Highly recommended!

The place is very nice and the food is good. However, I'm sorry to say that the table service isn't the best. We had to wait over 20 minutes to order, causing 2-3 tables to be passed over because we called the waitress but she didn't come. What was even worse was that at 2:00 PM, while we were ordering, she told us that everything was almost sold out, and that there were only 2 of the 4 starters left on the menu (and so many portions) and only 1 main course (again so many portions). This shouldn't happen in a restaurant, especially when you have all the reservations! And it's not that cheap!

04/04/2026: Good panino but not worth the long queue as it had nothing special. Some of the other places had much shorter queues.

04/05/2026: Exceptional pastries and coffees and the best gluten free brioche we’ve tasted. Great service.
25/04/2026: Wow, been to this place two mornings in a row and will visit again tomorrow on our last day in Florence! Pasticceria Gualtieri is charming beyond words. The people, the pastries, the doppio, the music. A perfect place to come when visiting beautiful Florence. Highly recommend!
