04/03/2025: Unique environment, my home kitchen is bigger, welcoming, intimate, friendly! Wonderful food, I would have tasted everything, good and genuine, from the appetizer, to the rabbit penne and the peposo... exquisite and then the desserts.... The flask of wine took me back over the years.... the glasses, each different from the other like the dishes. The cutlery? If you're missing one, open your coffee table drawer and take it! Do we want to talk about mocha coffee? Highly recommended!!

In any case, there is no doubt that it is one of the nicest places in the country, with attention to detail, excellent quality food and loving staff! Highly recommended for a good breakfast, a delicious lunch or a cozy aperitif. Wheelchair accessible.

07/04/2025: Classic Trattoria of the Tuscan countryside. Good place, but clean and welcoming. Excellent meats and side dishes. The house wine was also very pleasant and was tasty without being heavy. I would like to point out that we went on a Monday for lunch and the place was crowded! When I called to book, as I always do, I asked if they accept dogs: the answer was a friendly "Do you want to!!" said by Bule who is the owner (see photo) Very good prices. Recommended!

05/04/2025: One of the best restaurants I've ever been to was! Truly tasty and enjoyable dishes, from Pici alla cartere to tripe with citrus fruits. But the peposo wins over everything, it was stratospheric! Fast and very friendly service despite the room being full on a Friday evening. Top account, few trattorias now maintain honest prices, this one does and they even gave us a bit of a discount. We will definitely be back!

03/04/2025: We visited the Antinori estate with 4 friends. We initially had an aperitif outside, then we went for a tasting in the cellar and then returned to the restaurant for lunch. Lunch was normal, I consider the prices in line with the location and the clientele is excellent. Despite this, we did not consider the service to be up to par. Slow, but this can be expected considering that the restaurant was full and it was 2:30 pm What we did not tolerate was the familiarity that a waitress took with us. Only one of us took the wine by the glass, and dessert was initially taken by two out of four people. When we decided to order "only" two desserts, a waitress told us that "we were short on money". I consider this sentence completely disrespectful, especially towards customers who are eating in your restaurant! I think that one should not relate, to try to sell a dessert that no one wanted. Certainly a lunch not up to the level of the estate and the history that Cantina Antinori has. I do not recommend dining at this restaurant, and we certainly will not return.

Un pranzo anonimo con formaggi e salumi eccellenti ma con una fiorentina mediocre lontana dell'eccellenza Toscana. Prezzo veramente eccessivo non in linea rispetto a quello che abbiamo mangiato giustificato solo dalla location

24/03/2025: Very nice place in a quiet and private setting. Very spacious private parking. Abundant appetizer with typical cutting boards and croutons. Really excellent pasta with mushrooms and sausage and very good cheek! Price in the medium range, right.

20/03/2025: Large parking lot about fifty meters away. Rustic, very welcoming environment, framed by the Tuscan hills. Kind and helpful staff without being pushy. You can visit the house where Machiavelli faced exile, which is located right in front of the restaurant. The restaurant offers Tuscan cuisine based on meat and the food is truly excellent with quality raw materials. An experience definitely to be repeated.

21/03/2025: Eravamo in zona io e una mia collega e decidiamo di fare colazione qui,scelta sbagliatissima. Il banco ha pochissima scelta sia per il dolce che per il salato,premetto che erano le 8:00 di mattina,se il banco non è servito a quell'ora quando deve essere pieno? Comunque lei prende un budino di riso,che risulta essere crudo all'interno,io ero molto indecisa sulla scelta,ma non perché c'era l'imbarazzo della scelta,ma proprio perché la scelta era limitata,alla fine opto per cornetto vengano,di quelli che hanno tutti i bar,solito sapore e gusto...industriale per intendersi. Passiamo ai cappuccini...uno normale e l'altro a ginseng, erano due sciacquoni...Il personale scortese e poco attento al cliente,nonostante il bar fosse vuoto ( oltre a noi una sola altra persona ) ci hanno servito dopo più di 5 minuti che si aspettava e solo perché sono state chiamate da noi,visto che le due signore dietro il banco erano intente in una discussione,una delle due era anche infastidita che l'avessimo interrotta. Il tutto non proprio regalato €6,80,trovo un ottima qualità,scelta e rispetto ad un prezzo più vantaggioso in altri locali. Mai più e mai poi.

06/02/2025: A place truly what a wonderful surprise! Stop along the road, With my friend we took Coffee, Macchiatone, Brioche filled with cream called "cremino" And a rice pudding. I ate the rice pudding and I assure you, it was special, it is my favorite pasta. My friend ate the "cremino" and the expression on her face said it all! A delicacy! The coffee is also excellent. Showcase with a nice assortment of pastries. A short but substantial stop! Until next time!

30/01/2025: A super experience! We took a tour of the cellars, a wine tasting and an excellent cooking class with Eduardo (Eddie). The 14thC Castello is worth visiting even without the cooking class, a great way to spend an afternoon in Eduardo's capable hands. So good we are going back in a few months!

23/09/2024: Fantastic dinner. We had dinner at this restaurant on Saturday night and it was wonderful. We trusted the reviews, because we are from another region, and I must tell you that they have never been more truthful than in this case. We have almost everything based on cod and it was like a blast from the past for the flavors and how it was cooked. Must try: Corteccia di mamma rosa... divine, as well as the fried cod and marinara style. A round of applause to the dining room staff, and especially to the girl who served us, who proved to be friendly and professional and who put us at ease. Finally, a hug to Mum Rosa, who despite her age is still in the kitchen and who, although we had never seen each other, came to greet us as if we were family friends.
