04/03/2025: Unique environment, my home kitchen is bigger, welcoming, intimate, friendly! Wonderful food, I would have tasted everything, good and genuine, from the appetizer, to the rabbit penne and the peposo... exquisite and then the desserts.... The flask of wine took me back over the years.... the glasses, each different from the other like the dishes. The cutlery? If you're missing one, open your coffee table drawer and take it! Do we want to talk about mocha coffee? Highly recommended!!

22/01/2025: Marco che dirti, innanzitutto grazie mille. Ospitalità, cordialità, consigli e raccomandazioni, tutto PERFETTO! Partiamo dai vini, anzi no, atmosfera e welcome caldi e avvolgenti. Vino: poesia in bottiglia, 2 consigli su 2 apprezzatissimi! Antipasto misto in condivisione, materie prime di livello e tipiche della zona, esaltate sapientemente e senza corromperne il gusto, anzi! Primo piatto in condivisione: Scrigni cacio, pepe e tartufo con un po’ di pera che dava una nota dolce al piatto..un altro 10+! E poi il trionfo su tavola: La Bistecca Fritta! Un must di questo locale che lavora la carne da maestro! La recensione la stiamo facendo prima del dolce e del conto ma ormai è chiaro: Qui non si mangia, si volaaaaaa! Continuate così e grazie ancora per l’esperienza memorabile! Ps anche tantissime scelte di dolci e piatti senza glutine

18/03/2025: An excellent restaurant that is becoming increasingly noticed both for the quality of the cuisine and for the service in the dining room. All the dishes we have tried in our 3 visits to the restaurant have always thrilled and convinced us. So much attention to detail from the kitchen and super welcome in the dining room. The environment is well-kept and relaxing, you feel at ease for a super pleasant evening. Recommended!!

17/03/2025: Nello deserves a star - asap! The food was super creative with a great love for details and unbelievably tasty. Coupled with the amazing service of Chiara, Ristorante Nello manages to create a magic dinner experience that everyone traveling the area should try out. We have been to many Michelin-starred restaurants before that would have a hard time competing with Ristorante Nello! The exploding ravioli and the “by candlelight” dessert are to die for! We will definitely be back!

31/01/2025: Well my opinion is a bit biased because I am the sister of one of the owners. In any case, there is no doubt that it is one of the nicest places in the country, with attention to detail, excellent quality food and loving staff! Highly recommended for a good breakfast, a delicious lunch or a cozy aperitif. Wheelchair accessible.

14/03/2025: I found the lasagna with white ragù good, although not exceptional. As for the dishes, I chose livers in the net, which were excellent, like I hadn't eaten in years, thanks to an unmistakably slow cooking. The roast potatoes on the side were also good, cooked to perfection. The final dessert didn't thrill me. The house wine in bulk was good. I will definitely return. I don't know the cost because I was a guest of friends.

05/01/2025: Fantastic lunch! This restaurant was an incredible find. We had a selection of cheeses, polenta and mushroom crostini, and a pâté as a starter. As second courses, grilled lamb and brochena. And side dishes: beechnuts and sweet and sour onions. Finally the panna cotta and tiramisu. Everything was delicious, but the second courses were truly exceptional!! Super fast service, friendly staff and very pleasant environment. Excellent price. Compliments!

24/03/2025: Very nice place in a quiet and private setting. Very spacious private parking. Abundant appetizer with typical cutting boards and croutons. Really excellent pasta with mushrooms and sausage and very good cheek! Price in the medium range, right.

20/03/2025: Large parking lot about fifty meters away. Rustic, very welcoming environment, framed by the Tuscan hills. Kind and helpful staff without being pushy. You can visit the house where Machiavelli faced exile, which is located right in front of the restaurant. The restaurant offers Tuscan cuisine based on meat and the food is truly excellent with quality raw materials. An experience definitely to be repeated.

21/03/2025: Eravamo in zona io e una mia collega e decidiamo di fare colazione qui,scelta sbagliatissima. Il banco ha pochissima scelta sia per il dolce che per il salato,premetto che erano le 8:00 di mattina,se il banco non è servito a quell'ora quando deve essere pieno? Comunque lei prende un budino di riso,che risulta essere crudo all'interno,io ero molto indecisa sulla scelta,ma non perché c'era l'imbarazzo della scelta,ma proprio perché la scelta era limitata,alla fine opto per cornetto vengano,di quelli che hanno tutti i bar,solito sapore e gusto...industriale per intendersi. Passiamo ai cappuccini...uno normale e l'altro a ginseng, erano due sciacquoni...Il personale scortese e poco attento al cliente,nonostante il bar fosse vuoto ( oltre a noi una sola altra persona ) ci hanno servito dopo più di 5 minuti che si aspettava e solo perché sono state chiamate da noi,visto che le due signore dietro il banco erano intente in una discussione,una delle due era anche infastidita che l'avessimo interrotta. Il tutto non proprio regalato €6,80,trovo un ottima qualità,scelta e rispetto ad un prezzo più vantaggioso in altri locali. Mai più e mai poi.

06/02/2025: A place truly what a wonderful surprise! Stop along the road, With my friend we took Coffee, Macchiatone, Brioche filled with cream called "cremino" And a rice pudding. I ate the rice pudding and I assure you, it was special, it is my favorite pasta. My friend ate the "cremino" and the expression on her face said it all! A delicacy! The coffee is also excellent. Showcase with a nice assortment of pastries. A short but substantial stop! Until next time!

30/01/2025: A super experience! We took a tour of the cellars, a wine tasting and an excellent cooking class with Eduardo (Eddie). The 14thC Castello is worth visiting even without the cooking class, a great way to spend an afternoon in Eduardo's capable hands. So good we are going back in a few months!

23/09/2024: Fantastic dinner. We had dinner at this restaurant on Saturday night and it was wonderful. We trusted the reviews, because we are from another region, and I must tell you that they have never been more truthful than in this case. We have almost everything based on cod and it was like a blast from the past for the flavors and how it was cooked. Must try: Corteccia di mamma rosa... divine, as well as the fried cod and marinara style. A round of applause to the dining room staff, and especially to the girl who served us, who proved to be friendly and professional and who put us at ease. Finally, a hug to Mum Rosa, who despite her age is still in the kitchen and who, although we had never seen each other, came to greet us as if we were family friends.

09/03/2025: Welcoming place, simple and essential, courteous and kind service. Nothing to say about the dishes we took, everything was good, including the desserts... we had a good time and had a nice lunch, spending a reasonable amount considering the times we live in.. :)

04/03/2025: Excellent restaurant, dishes prepared well in their simplicity. The starter was good, the first course was slightly undercooked, the tortello was good, but the desserts were excellent. Very friendly service and online account. Must try again.
