18/10/2025: A true gem! As a culinary guide I get to enjoy a lot of good food and wine, but rarely ever is it as creative and delicious as here at Nello. Service is fantastic; super professional but not too formal. Must go if you’re in the area!

The owners are incredibly kind and welcoming, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. A place where you feel right at home, but with top-notch restaurant cuisine. 22/07/2025: Great, quiet and peaceful hotel. The location is off the beaten track, but easy access to Florence and nearby town. It’s quiet and peaceful. The pool is great, overall hotel is clean and tidy. Isn’t too big. Beautiful view. Osteria also serves tasty meal. To improve - better room amenities – there were no glasses, cups, or a kettle. Lack of privacy outside the room – restaurant terrace. Recommended!

05/10/2025: First evening in San Casciano, looking for a typical Tuscan osteria. We relied on online reviews, but, likely due to poor menu choices, we didn't find what we were looking for here. The house appetizers were average, but not typically Tuscan. The Florentine steak was good, but not a real explosion of flavor. The price was high. The potatoes were delicious. The wine list was excellent. Welcoming and courteous service.

21/09/2025: This has been our favorite place since we moved to Florence! Impeccable traditional Tuscan cuisine in a quaint and picturesque location. The service is always very welcoming and attentive, with a family atmosphere. We return whenever we can. Congratulations to Marco, Silvia, and Cecilia for the hospitality and atmosphere they've created! Keep up the good work!!

11/10/2025: Very close to Antinori and in the heart of Garbino, this restaurant was bustling with locals and tourists (like us) which made the atmosphere come alive in such a great way. Food: 5/5. We had Florentine steak which was cooked just right and full of flavour. Also a pasta and a side of potatoes, it was all incredibly delicious. Come dolci, we indulged in their panna cotta options and they nailed it on all aspects. Service: 5/5. Not much to say here other than they did very well and we couldn’t have asked for anything more. Our reservation was held and we were served quickly.

It’s products, wine and extra virgin olive oil as well as the food and the hospitality provided, denotes the love and affection for this part of Tuscany from where the princely family of the Corsini came before moving to Florence. It is definitely worth a trip to San Casciano, on the outskirts of Florence, to visit the beautiful villa of Le Corti and the newly restored and renovated gardens. The owners will show you around the antique wine cellars and you can end your visit sampling delicious food and their outstanding wines at their restaurant.

13/09/2025: What can I say!!!!! This is my second time stopping for lunch, but they pleasantly surprised me once again! The dishes are assembled with taste and professionalism. The ingredients are fabulous. I don't even know how to describe it all...you absolutely have to try it! Personally, it's my favorite restaurant! It's a shame it's 300 km from home, but as soon as I get back to Florence, I'll definitely stop by! Fantastically special!!

14/10/2025: I order a bowl of salad which was consist of lettuce, some piece of carrots and chopped cherry tomatoes for 8 or 9 Euro, but before I finished my salad I found a piece of curly hair on the bottom of the salad bowl. The owner apologized but didn’t take it off from the bill.

10/10/2025: Found this place by chance. It was a pleasant surprise. The location was beautiful, both inside and out. The dishes were excellent. The service was pleasant and polite. The quality/price ratio was in line with the quality of the food. A positive experience, one to repeat.
