26/10/2024: Bellissimo ristorantino a Montefiridolfi,con parcheggio gratuito a poche decine di metri dal locale. Non essendoci molti posti è vivamente consigliabile prenotare in anticipo,specie nei fine settimana. L'interno è arredato in maniera caratteristica Toscana,si mangia benissimo con porzioni veramente super abbondanti! Dopo aver assaggiato l'olio novo su fette di pane abbrustolito,abbiamo preso uno squisito antipasto misto,con affettati,pezzetti di formaggiobruschette,crostini caldi e verdure grigliate ed a seguire,come primi piatti,un piccantissimo spaghetto "alla vigliacca"e dei fantastici tortelli alla mugellana(con ripieno di patate)conditi al ragù di carne.Per secondo,peposo con i ceci e straccetti ai funghi porcini.Sia il peposo che gli straccetti si scioglievano in bocca...squisiti! Il tutto,innaffiato da un egregio vino della casa,presentato in un caratteristico fiasco. Per finire,assaggi di vari dolci molto buoni e caffè servito alla Moka. Rapporto qualità/prezzo buono,sicuramente adeguato alla bontà dei piatti degustati,proprietari con la cordialità toscana di una volta e gestione veramente egregia di questo piccolo gioiello di trattoria di paese ne fanno sicuramente un posto dove tornare per mangiare bene con prodotti genuini ed a km zero.

26/12/2024: Wonderful family run restaurant in Tuscany. I had the pleasure of chatting with Marco the owner and getting to know him and the family. They put so much love and effort into the experience, it really shows! I had the olive oil tasting which was sensational and the chicken which was juicy, spicy and delicious. The wine was wonderful and the service was some of the best you’ll receive in Italy!

03/01/2025: We spent 2 nights in this quiet and rustic relais including the New Year's Eve dinner with dishes cooked with high quality raw materials and served by an always kind and smiling staff. A special greeting to Ilaria who manages the excellent and complete breakfast. Spacious, clean and well heated room. We will return in the summer to use the swimming pool perhaps by motorbike.......

21/12/2024: If you want to try a Tuscan experience in the heart of Chianti, this is the right place. We arrived for work in this beautiful structure created from an old Tuscan farm and the great surprise immediately spread among us. A marvel managed with simplicity and professionalism. The rooms are beautiful, both the deluxe and superior ones and we regret not having been able to dine in the adjacent osperia which is closed on Wednesdays. It's a 3 star so you won't find the "niceties" of a 4 star but there are also details that a 4 star doesn't have. Everything is wonderful but if I wanted to find a sore point it is definitely the breakfast which is essential but even there the fabulous Ilaria transforms it into a moment of great discussion and dispenses unsurpassed tourist advice. What can I say? If I return to the area I will definitely return

08/01/2025: A real gem! the service is informal but completely suited to the context, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with a display of wine bottles that is a pleasure for the eyes. The charcuterie board was an explosion of flavours, and the peposo was simply divine - the meat melted in your mouth! The wine list is very extensive, offering an incredible variety of choice. Account suitable for the quality of the products and the service offered. Compliments.

03/01/2025: I went with a group of friends, one of them vegetarian and we were all satisfied. The first courses were excellent but especially the second course, baked livers, really good.

05/01/2025: Fantastic lunch! This restaurant was an incredible find. We had a selection of cheeses, polenta and mushroom crostini, and a pâté as a starter. As second courses, grilled lamb and brochena. And side dishes: beechnuts and sweet and sour onions. Finally the panna cotta and tiramisu. Everything was delicious, but the second courses were truly exceptional!! Super fast service, friendly staff and very pleasant environment. Excellent price. Compliments!

03/06/2024: A great place to taste Tuscan wine, friendly waiters will quickly bring you a bottle of white or red wine, put it in ice and you can just relax and enjoy the moment and the ambiance. You will probably be lucky enough to be served wine by the smiling young owner, if you have Instagram share this fantastic place. A bottle of local Tuscan wine is €15, which was quite acceptable for us. Along with the wine, you will get a light snack to munch on while you sip. We returned there the next day to greet the owner and drink a travel espresso before leaving Italy for Croatia. Thank you very much! 🇮🇹♥️

02/11/2024: We’ve been in Florence and the surrounding areas for over a week and this was our best meal. The beef tartare was fresh, the cappellacci was delicious and one of the more unique pastas we’ve tried, and wife’s gnochetti felt like a cozy homemade dish that matched the atmosphere and the great service. Highly recommend!
