05/08/2025: The most amazing dinner - locally sourced, fresh and delicious. Kudos to the kitchen staff for the best meal we experienced during our 2 weeks in Italy. Our hosts welcomed us as guests and their servers were very attentive. We especially enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere in a country setting that included talented musicians and wonderful wine pairings. Delizioso!

20/07/2025: Posto incantevole ma ci fermiamo qui. L’acqua ce l’hanno portata 40 minuti dopo esserci seduti, insieme ai menu dopo averla sollecitata… lasciamo perdere che una ciotolina per il cane era gradita… nemmeno considerato. I camerieri vagano fra i tavoli senza degnarci di attenzione. Dopo un’ora arrivano contemporaneamente gli ordini di mia moglie e nulla per me, vengo redarguito dal cameriere che mi dice che ho sbagliato ad ordinare… seguono scuse a profusione dopo la mia reazione. Arriva il filetto che mi ero raccomandato al sangue praticamente bollito, seguono altre scuse e devo dire che, cosa molto rara, non viene messo nel conto e di questo devo riconoscere il bel gesto. Anche il titolare alla cassa si scusa, dispiace lasciare recensioni negative ma non ci siamo proprio, era molto che non andavamo fuori a cena e volevamo goderci la serata.

17/07/2025: Felt like I was at my Italian grandma’s kitchen. The menu was entirely in Italian, but the servers were incredibly helpful in guiding us through it. I had the brick oven grilled chicken—moist, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. My wife ordered the tagliatelle with meat sauce, which was rich and delicious. We started with the charcuterie board, loaded with fresh meats and cheeses—absolutely fantastic. The owner even brought us a special “holy wine” her father made, which paired beautifully with the tiramisu served in a mason jar. Such a thoughtful and memorable touch. Prices were very reasonable—actually less expensive than most of the other places we visited. The only downside was the parking. There’s an open lot across the street from the restaurant, but the walk from there involves navigating a narrow curb partially in the street. Just be cautious—Italian drivers don’t exactly take it slow!

17/07/2025: The food was absolutely delicious! I had the pasta with ragu bianco and porcini mushrooms. The tiramisu was amazing! So kind in helping us order and giving us some wonderful memories during our trip. We hope to visit again one day!

03/08/2025: The food was delicious. However, we were somewhat ignored. We ordered wine, but it wasn't brought. We asked again, and it only arrived after we were almost finished. We had made reservations in advance. The portions could also be a bit larger. We weren't really full after our meal. Parking is available across the street.

05/06/2025: Extraordinary! We ate there in the evening on a superb shaded terrace overlooking the surrounding hills. The food was delicious; we had a starter, primi piatti, and dessert. The dishes were original and refined, and I ate the best panna cotta of my life. Finally, the service was impeccable, kind, friendly, and relaxed. If you visit Florence, I highly recommend trying this restaurant, which is only a few kilometers away but feels lost in nature. Thank you to the entire restaurant team for a magnificent dinner!

19/05/2025: Ambiente davvero bello con la particolarità di mangiare letteralmente di fronte la chef che cucina. Pochi posti ma ben serviti. Staff molto bravo. Menù sfizioso ma che rispecchia la toscanità. Eseguito davvero in modo eccellente dalla chef. Nonostante fosse una comunione con oltre 20 invitati, piatti erano ricercati e belli anche esteticamente Torneremo sicuramente, siamo stati davvero bene Grazie e complimenti a tutti

11/05/2025: After a few years I returned to this restaurant that I appreciated, a completely negative experience, we spent two and a half hours at the table because we couldn't get served. The food didn't seem excellent to me, I don't know if the reason was the too long wait which took away everyone's desire to eat. I don't recommend it

22/05/2025: Wonderful little cafe that is also a grocery store. They made us a fantastic mortadella mozzarella sandwich. Very nice service. If you are passing by and are hungry, go in.

12/01/2025: Pranzo domenicale ottimo, antipasti con crostini misti buonissimi, pappaal pomodoro rivisitata con stracciatella, a seguire risotto di zucca con taleggio e cavolo nero, poi filetto lardellato con profumo di albicocca e rolle' di galletto con fegatini e prugne, vino locale il Morino piacevolissimo consigliato da uno dei proprietari, servizio e pulizia perfetti! Avevo un pochino freddo e gentilmente ci hanno spostati al tavolo vicino al caminetto. Rapporto qualità/ prezzo ottimo! Consigliatissimo!

30/07/2025: OK for a budget stay. The rooms are clean and spacious. Unfortunately, the hotel is very noisy (loud children and dog play), and there's no elevator (luggage has to be carried upstairs). The pool is OK, but has seen better days. The staff is friendly, but extremely understaffed, which unfortunately affects the selection. At 9:30 a.m., there was nothing left for breakfast; everything was empty. According to the information for guests, breakfast is advertised until 10:00 a.m. There was also no staff present. After a long search, the waiter came and tried to manage breakfast for the remaining guests with the resources at his disposal. There is enormous potential, and something great could be done with the property. Management should hire more staff, so one employee can take care of the reception and another team member takes care of breakfast. One person can't do everything alone, even if they are very friendly and helpful. Hats off to the employee; unfortunately, it's not their fault; these are management errors.

29/07/2025: The location is beautiful, in the mountains, wonderfully quiet yet close to the highway. Wonderful surroundings. Views of Florence from the terrace! The pool (or small pool) leave much to be desired, as do the sunbeds! The food is fantastic! A major drawback: the staff (except for one woman) are not very cheerful, which is a real shame because it really leaves a mark!
