12/04/2026: I have no complaints about the food or service; everything was excellent, but I feel compelled to give it one star because we happened to be there on a night with a live band, and the PA was way too loud, so much so that we had to shout to talk to each other. I don't think such high volumes in an enclosed space are legal; if it absolutely must be avoided, I suggest at least providing the wait staff with earplugs to protect their health.

From the burgers to the cutlets, to the salads and spaetzle. The desserts are also a plus! (I recommend the Baileys coffee.)

We tried practically everything, and every dish was exquisite, with full, bold, authentic flavors. You can taste the genuine pursuit of Tyrolean and Bavarian cuisine behind it, not just a randomly revisited version. The atmosphere is warm and super familiar, making you feel immediately at ease. The attention to detail is also evident, like the staff dressed in traditional attire, which makes the experience even more immersive and unique. It's a perfect place to spend a pleasant evening, whether as a couple or with friends. It's also ideal for a different kind of aperitif: a nice beer, a few samples of their dishes, and the evening flies by like a dream. An additional note, not to be taken for granted. Even those who aren't fans of sausages or more "rich" fare will find alternatives like sliced ​​steak, fillet steak, and more classic dishes. That said, it would be a shame not to indulge in their selection of traditional dishes. In such a unique place, it's worth experiencing it to the fullest. Highly recommended. If you're in Varese and want to eat well, drink better, and have a wonderful evening, W11 Cucina Alpina is absolutely worth a visit.

01/04/2026: Honestly, my expectations were very high, but the Shmitzel was disappointing: the breading promised great things, but the meat inside was "boiled" and looked almost like it had just been defrosted; the cheesecake turned out to be a shortcrust pastry tart with cooked cream. The quality-price ratio leaves much to be desired. I paid two euros for a cover charge when there actually wasn't one: you sit at a wooden table in the center, with cutlery and paper napkins. I don't think I'll be back.

We met friendly staff (Fulvia was very friendly and cheerful) and enjoyed the unique atmosphere. It was nice that the club's owner joined in the singing, which he also sang with excellent intonation!
