16/02/2025: Typical German or rather Bavarian restaurant, with very warm furnishings made entirely of wood. Good beer and good food too, tried several times. Outdoor tables are also available in a small but lovely outdoor garden. Tidy, and relaxing. Parking a few steps from the restaurant which is located in Ispra. If you want a moment of peace, relaxation and above all beer I highly recommend it.

25/01/2025: €2.70 per pretzel x 4, you do the math. €2.50 for bread which is normally included in the cover charge. €35 for a mixed grill of meat but instead it was frankfurters and chips, a slice of chicken and a loin and a mountain of chips. €30 for a mixed platter of cold cuts but in reality it was lard with two bruschettas. In short, a €360 combed which seems to me to be truly unjustified. I haven't been here for 20 years and it will surely be another 20 before we set foot here again. No, in fact, never again.

19/01/2025: The dishes are excellent. We had the venison steak and the duck breast, both very good. The apple strudel is delicious. Slightly high in prices, especially the coffee at 2 euros! Advised.

For this reason alone, it is worth entering their place!!!! A cart outside the venue... Simplicity and the magnificence of a kind gesture! How beautiful!!! Thank you we really appreciated it

18/01/2025: We went to eat last night during the Zoo 105 show in Varese…. Very good food, nice and friendly staff! We definitely found something different than usual!

06/02/2025: We stayed at Wiener Haus in Curno and had a great time! The service was really attentive, and special thanks go to the blonde girl in the sweatshirt and the more mature boy with glasses, super kind and polite. We had appetizers, a grilled dish and a cutlet with buffalo mozzarella and cherry tomatoes, accompanied by a really delicious puree. Everything was excellent, from the welcome to the food. We will definitely be back! 😊😊😊

02/02/2025: Convenient parking, pleasant style and decor. Vast assortment. Good beer. Soft and crunchy cutlets of various types. Burgers not up to par, small, poorly stuffed and with skimpy lettuce. Shameful, the paid sachet sauces arrived only almost after finishing the meal. Live music nice plus but excessive volume.

01/02/2025: The beer is good, as are the hot pretzels, the goulash and the desserts. But the cuisine needs improvement: the dumplings and frankfurters were sufficient, not at the level of the South Tyrolean or Bavarian ones, and the vegetables at least needed to be sautéed in a pan. Welcoming and helpful staff. The place is a little dark and the seating is a little narrow.

Pizzas, whose ingredients are unquestionably excellent and digestibility guaranteed by the choice of truly extraordinary doughs and leavening. A wide choice of pizzas, calzones and focaccias, but also delicious sandwiches and other tasty dishes, an interesting assortment of desserts and all in a location with a certain impact, a historic farmhouse renovated with attention to preserving tradition and innovation with notable results of aesthetic harmony. If we add to everything the kindness and professionalism of the owners and all the staff, who have been able to create this little restaurant gem in Sandonato, all we have to do is enjoy their food and toast together to the 20th anniversary of Sottosopra.

07/02/2025: Precarious service, in serving us the drink, they sent a girl who had started that day (poor thing and I feel sorry for her), she spilled a coke with the ice entirely on my two year old son, up to this point everything was fine, the problem comes later when I return to the table, after having cleaned my son, they hadn't cleaned yet (already there), they send a girl (with glasses and pigtails) to clean, in the meantime I rightly complain and this girl attacks me even if she didn't hit the mark Nothing. They ruined my son's suede shoes and to make matters worse I even paid (with a discount of 40 euros, as if this repaid my son's shoes) Advisers to look at your employees because the food was also good but the service was very unpleasant!
