21/03/2025: Kommen jedes Jahr, wenn wir in Lana sind hierher. Die Knödel auf Kraut-Speck-Salat einfach ein Traum, so wie auch die Lage. Man fühlt sich einfach wohl, auch kein Wunder bei der netten und herzlichen Wirtin.

12/03/2025: A very good place to take a break. Parking is for customers only and you won't regret it. The portions are large, the food is delicious. Stopped here twice. The first time it was late and the cafe was closed, so I only had coffee in the morning. The second time he already had a full dinner. Top quality/price ratio

13/03/2025: The perfect economy to stop by. Well-equipped kitchen with great food, good beer and exceptionally good service. Three very friendly ladies served us. This restaurant is on the agenda again for next year. By the way. The hut is perfectly accessible by ski and in summer by e-bike and on Schuster's horse. Conclusion: Great view, great cuisine, professional staff and a very cozy atmosphere invite you to linger. Thanks to the team. Also for the prompt fulfillment of our special requests. 👌🫶

06/02/2025: A little paradise of enjoyment 🥰 The Villanderer Buschenschank Larmhof is run with a lot of love and you can feel that in every detail. The rustic, cozy farmhouse parlor invites you to linger while you treat yourself to delicious delicacies. As a starter there was a wonderful barley soup - strong, aromatic and cooked with a lot of love 👩🏻‍🍳 For the main course, my husband had a hearty platter with surf meat, house sausage, fried ribs, sauerkraut and potato leaves 🥩 I enjoyed Schlutzkrapfen, spinach dumplings and cheese dumplings with butter and parmesan 👌🏻 Both are a dream for all lovers of South Tyrolean cuisine! Plus a glass of our own Vernatsch 🍷 wonderful! Anyone who appreciates rustic cosiness, warm hospitality and homemade specialties has come to the right place 🫶🏻

09/04/2025: Very tasty, home-made Italian food away from the tourist hotspots. Great and very friendly service! Clear recommendation if you want to enjoy good, down-to-earth Italian food in Merano! Update: On our second stay in Meran we stopped at the Trattoria Mainardo for lunch again. It was very crowded, but we managed to get a seat without a reservation. The food was again incredibly tasty & the owners are warm and great hosts. Another great recommendation for a delicious Italian meal in Meran.

06/01/2025: We went for dinner. Delicious food and fantastic wine, which is rightly priced. Pleasant atmosphere, halfway between a restaurant and a refuge. Only downside, very cold and uninterested waiting staff. But then again, we went to eat and not to make friends. I recommend it.

04/01/2025: The food was simply outstanding! The quality of the food was excellent and everything tasted delicious. The service was also first class - the employees were very attentive and implemented our wishes perfectly. The restaurant is relatively small, which makes it even more attractive as it creates a particularly pleasant and cozy atmosphere. The furnishings are tasteful and fit wonderfully with the concept of the house. The price-performance ratio is absolutely right - the food is of excellent quality and the price is more than justified. The daily dishes off the menu are particularly impressive, such as the meat from our own hunt, which was as tender as butter and delighted us. A little tip: Due to limited places, you should reserve well in advance. It is practical that there is free parking right in front of the door. We would love to come back and can fully recommend this restaurant!

03/03/2025: The pasta and the tiramisu are very good. However, the positives end there as the rest of the food is quite mediocre. We were eager to have some meat and I personally chose the beef ghoulash - just to be safe I even asked if the meat portion of the dish was substantial, and I was reassured that it was. Imagine my surprise when the ghoulash consisted of 4-5 tiny pieces of beef. When this feedback was given to the staff, along with my surprise that the ghoulash was not a soup as is usual, they chose to debate the nature of ghoulash. The rest of the meats (tagliata for example), while more plentiful in quantity, were quite bland and tough. Overall disappointment especially considering the treatment.

13/02/2025: Excellent pizza, well leavened, highly digestible, no nighttime thirst. The waitress and cashier staff were very kind and professional. The guys in charge of the pizza are amazing, as well as competent. Highly recommended both for takeaway and especially in the dining room.
