12/03/2025: A very good place to take a break. Parking is for customers only and you won't regret it. The portions are large, the food is delicious. Stopped here twice. The first time it was late and the cafe was closed, so I only had coffee in the morning. The second time he already had a full dinner. Top quality/price ratio

Since it was raining, we sat in the cozy vaulted cellar - when the weather is nice, you can sit on the terrace with a view of Tyrol Castle. The service is very friendly and attentive, the food and drinks are excellent. The shepherd's macaroni, which is praised in other reviews, is indeed very tasty and recommended!

06/02/2025: A little paradise of enjoyment 🥰 The Villanderer Buschenschank Larmhof is run with a lot of love and you can feel that in every detail. The rustic, cozy farmhouse parlor invites you to linger while you treat yourself to delicious delicacies. As a starter there was a wonderful barley soup - strong, aromatic and cooked with a lot of love 👩🏻‍🍳 For the main course, my husband had a hearty platter with surf meat, house sausage, fried ribs, sauerkraut and potato leaves 🥩 I enjoyed Schlutzkrapfen, spinach dumplings and cheese dumplings with butter and parmesan 👌🏻 Both are a dream for all lovers of South Tyrolean cuisine! Plus a glass of our own Vernatsch 🍷 wonderful! Anyone who appreciates rustic cosiness, warm hospitality and homemade specialties has come to the right place 🫶🏻

27/04/2025: Che ravioli!!!! Allora sicuramente non è un ristorante consigliato alle persone a dieta!!! La signora padrona di casa e cuoca, ha un'abbondante scorta di burro nella sua cucina! Il ristorante è un po' fuori rispetto al alle vie di Merano, ma raggiungibile sempre a piedi! È sicuramente datato, ma la cucina è la protagonista! Mezzelune agli spinaci da far girare la testa!!!! Cameriera carina e gentilissima! Anche la piccola Maya si è sentita a casa e si è divorata quei ravioloni squisiti!!!

04/01/2025: The food was simply outstanding! The quality of the food was excellent and everything tasted delicious. The service was also first class - the employees were very attentive and implemented our wishes perfectly. The restaurant is relatively small, which makes it even more attractive as it creates a particularly pleasant and cozy atmosphere. The furnishings are tasteful and fit wonderfully with the concept of the house. The price-performance ratio is absolutely right - the food is of excellent quality and the price is more than justified. The daily dishes off the menu are particularly impressive, such as the meat from our own hunt, which was as tender as butter and delighted us. A little tip: Due to limited places, you should reserve well in advance. It is practical that there is free parking right in front of the door. We would love to come back and can fully recommend this restaurant!

09/11/2024: Family-run restaurant in a fantastic setting with a clear view of 🏰 Tyrol Castle from the sun terrace. Beautiful, very cozy guest rooms with wonderful, traditional wooden paneling. Good selection of South Tyrolean dishes, such as dumplings, apple pancakes, but also home-style cuisine, such as goulash, etc., all freshly prepared and of the best quality. I chose the “Three Cheese Dumplings with Salad” from the daily recommendation and was absolutely thrilled! 😋 Unfortunately, I completely forgot to take the usual snapshot to show in public. 😥 Extremely polite and courteous staff who, despite all the routine, even find a few nice words for strangers. You feel really welcome. Toilets are new and absolutely clean, so very happy ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐!
